TV Land

I like that the app now has Live TV capabilities, which is especially helpful when I travel, or am in a room without a cable box. I am only giving it 3 stars because there is no option to Cast programs and Live TV via Chromecast. I have a TV that doesn't have a cable box and since the app is not available on Roku (please work on this with Live TV option), I have to Cast, otherwise I'm stuck just watching through a phone, which is not helpful if I want to watch with family/friends.

The TV Land app provides fairly easy access to classic TV shows through a simple, user-friendly experience. However, this is 2018 - almost every competitor app (FX and TBS, among others) supports a cast function. My hopes rise with each new update only to fall once more when I realize that (AGAIN) the TV Land app developers have failed to provide cast functionality. It's such a shame - the app and network content are excellent, but the lack of cast functionality is a deal-breaker for me. Will bump to five stars when TV Land finally adds cast ability and catches up with the competition.

I'm really blown away at how awful this app is. I downloaded it to watch sitcoms while i fall asleep on my tablet. you swipe to what you want to watch and can either click thr picture or select full episodes. both bring you to a random episode. once that episode is over, it replays........now, it wont even do that! the app keeps saying im not connected to the internet but netflix, hulu, chrome browser and prime video are all working fine. such a disappointment.

Downloaded the app in the hopes there WOULDN'T be commercials. Not even five minutes into the episode of The Golden Girls I had started and bang! Commercial. If I want the show to be interrupted by commercials, I'll just keep watching it on live TV. Seriously, I thought the point of streaming a show was to watch full, UNINTERRUPTED episodes, not be bombarded by ads for Toyota.

I was able to log in for a 24 hour preview. When I attempted to log in and entered my service provider which I had to type in as it was not on the list, it would not enter it when I hit the OK button. I really wanted this app. to watch some of my favorite shows but it doesn't look like this will ever happen.

very few shows, tons of commercials when you click on a show to watch if you can find one to watch, you will get about three minutes of a show and then 5 commercials. Then you get three to four minutes of the show and five more commercials. But during those commercials the show is still running! I attempted to watch several episodes of M*A*S*H, after the commercials there were big hunks of time missing from the episode. Uninstalling this app because it's worthless

I see so many reviews of people asking for Xfinity and Dish Network to be added to the list of providers and there has been no response from tech support about timing or why? The show I'm watching has 2 seasons, 12 episodes each. I made it through to Season 2, Episode 8 on a 24 hour pass (30 min show), but now I'm trying to get around getting more time to finish a season! Don't leave us in the dark. Please shed some light on why and/or when about these 2 big network providers.

Ever since I've reinstalled the app the commercials are freezing up and there is no audio. Also, it's telling me that certain episodes are no longer available. Why is that???

Videos stop playing after a certain point (says video unavailable) even though I am signed in thru my Cox account. So very frustrating 😠 also I used to be able to cast to the tv and since about 2 months ago there's no option.

My provider isn't supported by the app. DISH NETWORK. I'm honestly not sure if that is Dish Network's fault or the apps fault. however, my dad uses Goldenwest and it is supported but it will not let me log in. I know I have the right password and username because I can login otherwise, just not through the app. Uninstalling, it's worthless.

The app doesn't recognize Dish Network. However when I try to use the 24 hour guest pass. I'm told there's an existing account. Also the app will not allow me to reset the password. I have TV land as part of my channel lineup.

didnt have my TV provider, so I could only get 24 hours of it unlocked. not really enough if you want to actually watch seasons. kind of disappointed. also if this could be used with xbox that be better

it doesn't let you sign in with Comcast/Xfinity. one of the biggest tv providers and not on their list? so every program is locked even though you PAY a specific fee every month for this station.

ugh why do the episode stop working after the very first commercial I can't get any full length episodes to play.... please please please someone tell me why this app freezes after every freaking commercial and then says the show is unavailable please fix the problem!!!!!

This was a disappointing experience. I really didn't even get a chance to use it because Sling TV was not listed as a provider option. I removed the app and maybe I will try again sometime in the future.

Used to love this app, but now all of a sudden it won't let me in. Keeps telling me that I can't view it because it is not available in my country. I'm in the US, never left it. My settings even show that I'm in the US. Not getting it....Help!!

Horrible. you only get 2 seasons. and then you only get certain episodes not all. Whats the point of creating the app when its like watching on regular tv.

Not worth it, they advertise that if you can see it on your TV then you can view it on the app that is a lie! if they don't support your provider then the app is useless.

Horrible. Neither Comcast or Xfinity is listed. So I tried to create an account and the date of birth was completely blank so it was a guess as to how to fix it.

Very disappointed. I have dish network and it's not listed as a provider. I don't understand why I pay for tvland with my cable provider, but it's not listed so I can stream. Please update and include DISH network.

Downloaded the app hoping it had King of Queens and was excited to see that they did. That was short-lived when I realized I couldn't Chromecast. I uninstalled immediately after.

No Chromecast integration, media player doesn't even have a fullscreen function lol only a few episodes available per show. Naabe c'mon....

Constantly freezes up and doesn't remember where you left off . I also have this app on an iOS device.Same issues! Fix it already!

Can't log in?!?! Plus the station has gotten absolutely ridiculous!!!!! They have way too many commercials. I'm going to start looking at other channels to watch. Sad so sad.

This app doesn't work with Chromecast. What good is it?! I don't want to watch content on my smart phone when I have a 60" HDTV.

now this app wont even connect to my verizon account so its completely useless. jusy like all the apps from this same company. 2 stars until you make casting to tv available. every other cable app out there can cast, why can't you?

Come On!!!! Make a TVland classic app! This is annoying there's like ten shows, there's no gunsmoke or any other shows like that this is dumb if you only like a few TVland shows then this is the app for you.

I am rating at a 2 because Dish Network is not on the providers list and I can't watch episodes after first 24 hours if i don't log in with my tv provider!! Would definitely rate 5 stars if I could log in through Dish Network!!
