TV Listings Guide America

In my opinion, of all the listings apps I've tried; this one's the best and fastest to see what's on. I like to use it for this reason too! On my flat tv screen, the menu tellin' ya what a movie, show or whatever's about, is to small for me to read. Btw; to find out what an episode of a show or movies description's about, press the title\s in the listings; and it will tell you. So I have my phone beside me with this app on it; with bigger letters for shows etc., That are much!, easier to read!

Worst app I've ever used for anything. -- Slow as molasses and freezes constantly. There's a long wait just to open the app, each and every time. --Tap anything and it just doesn't move. If it does, it stays in "thinking" mode endlessly. --To customize my channels list, I had to tap one by one on a buttons that slide from right to left (and of course it "thinks" after each). With a few hundred cable channels, this was grueling. There was no "select all" option from which I could uncheck what I needed. Completely useless, had to uninstall. Will use the website instead.

I used to like this app. All the pop up boxes with adds and the large add at the bottom get in the way of the listings. Put the adds back between the listings. I would pay a lot more attention to these than the pop up adds. Use as many as you need to. Most of the other features I have used at one time or another and they are great to have. The pop ups all over the screen are why I cannot give five stars

Timeline isn't frozen; When you scroll down for additional stations, you lose the timeline. Doesn't snap to time borders like most guide apps do. At first it wouldn't show description of episodes, but somehow it started working. Would be nice if it also showed season and episode and when first aired for repeats. TV Guide did that until their recent update that made it useful. Often gets stuck when connecting to server to retrieve data.

Not many listings show the channel numbers, this one does, and I hope it stays that way. I can't remember all of those network names. Lol Several newer channels in my area are not listed yet. ex ch 28 now has 1-6. Once the other channels are listed, I'll up to 5. Message with info sent. Channels have been updated. I promised a 5 you got it. The only thing I would want to change is, when you add new channels it doesn't go along with the series of it's kind, it shows at the bottom. Fix?

I was able to add all my shows but could not get reminders so I emailed support. They sent me a page with a link for the reminder set up time that I wanted. I chose 16 minutes for all my shows, but apparently it reminds you the last 15 minutes because that's what it did to me. I un installed the app. I don't know if I'll try it again later.

I saw that this app had mixed reviews but thought I'd give it try anyway. I needed it for OTA so I didn't have hundreds of channels to go through and speed wasn't an issue. HOWEVER, the pop up ads every 30 seconds made me delete the app after playing with it for an hour. I found an app with better features and less ads.

I enjoy almost everything about this app. The problem I've been having with it of late is when I tap to go to a movie's description the app freezes and I have to close it down and restart. I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that will resolve the problem. I'd just as soon bother with resetting my preferences if this will resolve this annoying problem.

I was very excited about the prospect of being able to customize the channels that appear on my listing but this app is extremely SLOW, *and* every time I go to the channels screen to try to customize my channels, the app locks up. Every. Time. I have been trying to use this on an Android Motorola G5 phone, but will be uninstalling momentarily. No use keeping it if I can't use it.

I've tried other TV guide's but I came back to this one. Yes all the TV guides to have ads but some of them are worse than others this isn't too bad. Once you get used to how the setup is its really easy. The only thing is that on my tablet it won't show up so for my tablet I had to use the website in Chrome and that's no fun.

I live on the fringe of one tv market, and with a decent rooftop antenna can easily pick up stations in the adjacent tv market. Sadly, this app, which is supposed to be geared to ota watching, does not recognize the availability of these additional stations. I can't even find a way to customize my listings to add these channels. Hope someone can show me what I'm missing so that I can change my review.

Works for me. A lot of shows (on PBS mostly) don't have information (such as, who are today's guests on a talk slow), but that may be because the network doesn't share this info, I don't know. I want to customize my schedule to eliminate a bunch of channels I don't watch, so here's a QUESTION FOR THE DEVELOPER: When I try to make an account, I am required to agree to your privacy policy, but there is no possibility to look at your policy before agreeing.

Before you see your listings you will see ad upon ad upon ad, and video ads and pop-up ads, and pop-up video ads...so much so you don't actually get listings. And if you should want to change your cable provider, and then spend a long time customizing the channel list, it will revert back to its old listings the next day.

Finally a tv guide app that works! I've tried almost all playstore tv guide apps. This one only list's the channels in your zip code, no more scrolling through several channels that I don't even get on my tv. Love this app!

So far so good. Using this app to show what is on tv now since we dont have cable tv anymore. Streaming live tv is much easier with this guide. No guessing to whats on and at what time. Very useful and cutting cable and keeping internet service saved us $100 a month. Thanks for having a good reliable guide for everyone.

I've just started using the app. It works great and was synced with my account easily. I love the idea that I can get a reminder for a program. I haven't used that feature yet but I definitely look forward to it. Great job developers!!

It does what it's supposed to do, but I uninstalled because the ad takes up a ton of space and the size of the listings area can't be altered. I prefer to use my browser and the website over the app, but some may like the app. Overall, not terrible, just not to my liking.

Love the updated app! I've been using this for # years and has always provided correct listings for the Antenna TV in my bedroom. Very easy to add channels as the Antenna picks up new ones. Or, delete the channels I won't watch to remove them from my listings.

I used the TV Guide app for years until the recent revamp made it USELESS. I downloaded and went through several other TV Listing guide apps until I found this one! Love the layout and the fact that I can go between the Birmingham and Atlanta TV markets.

Good set up easy to figure out all options . Has star mode to save any program to notifications . 9 day list of every program you saved to star . There is one bad thing , channel save is manual . Great options in setting menu , even help.

TV Guide messed up big time with their recent update which I uninstalled and this is a very, very good replacement for what used to be a fine app from TV Guide. After I spend more time and getting used to and learning more on this app. I may come back and give this a 5 star.

This app is garbage. Terrible UI, crashes if you look at it too hard, and is trying to send me spam. Worst of all you can just find all of this online. This is so pointless. I had hoped it would at least organize its information for me. Nope. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

This app is great for over-the-air viewers. User customizable channel list. Can look ahead a full week, and can get show details, guest info, etc. Loads about 6 hours data at a time so it feels fast. Easy to read. Nicely done.

This app gets points for ease of use, selecting favorites, and notifications. However, it does not match the correct time zone for Arizona for many channels. Arizona has it's own time zone.

Nice to be able to customize schedule view. The app completely changed names & icon so had to uninstall the original & download this new version instead which was annoying trying to open the original & it just force-quits.

What is wrong with this app? It worked fine for a long time and now it locks up all the time. I've tried uninstalling an re-installing. still doesn't work. I have an android tablet. It's working now. Thank you, thank you, thank you! App is locked up again. When I click on the details it locks up. working fine now!

I installed on the PC, created login, psswd, then selected over the air antenna for my provider, and my time zone. then for Android, I downloaded from Google Play, logged in same login psswd, all set up. then synced to online. Any favorites saved will appear on the PC and the android; how cool is that? Thanks!

This app needs some tune ups. Loading takes too long and there needs to be a better way to remove unwanted channels. I don't want to scroll through 500+ channels just to turn off the ones I don't want. That's a waste of time.

The app freezes up and crashes all the time and the problem seems to keep getting worse. I just found a better channel guide app so I'm uninstalling this one for sure.

All has been working well...EXCEPT for one function. When I made settings to receive notifications for my fav tv shows.....I never get any....AND....the notifications setting keeps turning itself off.
