TV Listings & Guide Plus

This app is NOT very good in that the information on it is often wrong or mis-leading. Programs that show as new that are actually re-runs. Many write-ups are missing, or written by a 7 year old. A number of the write-ups are incorrect or so generic they are a waste of time to read. Some channel listings are missing. This app is not worth downloading.

Nice and easy setup, would be nice if there was an option to list the channels in reverse (10,9,8, instead of 1,2, 3) other than that, this is almost perfect. The only thing that's missing is an option to buy so I don't have to deal with ads. I might look for another TV guide that has that option, I'm not a big fan of ads and how much wifi and data it uses.

This is quite a good television guide app. Well, actually about the best. I have tried so many paid and free ones, almost gave up. Came across this one, TV Listings & Guide, and what first seemed like would not be something useful or work well, well, I was wrong. Very accurate. Updates stay.... Up to date! Can create your own channel list, and add just about any channel you can think of. Any reminders you set, it never misses. You can follow favorite programs. Ads are very low key.

This app is so much faster and the information is more detailed in the descriptions than the TV guide app that I had previously been using for the last two years. The amount of adds is way less. I have yet to have a delay when opening this app, it always open immediately. One click on the channel box brings up the listening for that channel for the day, no need to click on every program to see the description.

A great app that informs you of what's on TV, with daily schedules & week long previews. Most programs include descriptions & identify actors. Customize the list of stations & networks according to what's available in your area, and personal preference. Easily set reminder times. One click let's you see how many seasons a series has had, & lists all episode titles (without descriptions) & original broadcast dates. But you can't review previous schedules or the day before.

Still waiting for the addition of Channel 386 (PBS KVIE2) Comcast Northern California Region. I'm beginning to wonder if reviews are actually read. I've tried many TV listing apps and given up on them. Not this app. For me it's the best and I've recommended it. I've requested the addition of a missing channel. I'm still hoping for a fix. None of the other apps did after multiple requests of numerous years.

I can understand why it may be difficult for you to keep up with cable channels because of the huge number of them. Why do you think this applies to air tv? Every few months we're told to rescan for new channels being offered. Yet your app can't seem to stay current on OTA TV. Start doing better and you'll get better feedback. Stay as you are, and your app will be in the trash with other obsolete apps. Is that your goal? DO BETTER FOR EVERYONE!

Great app & it works much better than other TV Guide Apps! I can't stop it though from opening up & running in the background(even when I haven't used it lately) & using up battery life. I have tried to stop it by stopping it from running in background, and it still runs in the background.

I've enjoyed using this app. My favorite feature is being able to add shows and movies to my calendar directly from the app. My only complaints would be that when I'm following a show it doesn't alert me regardless of what network it's airing on. I have to choose a network and it only tells me if it's on that network.

Absolutely love this app , used it for years. Very user friendly and easy, efficient .You can very quickly go any hour of any day of any channel( up to a week in advance. One thing I would like extra ; to still be able to go backwards in time about a day and a half. If I wanted information on a show that I saw or have missed. This is the best TV guide app available that I know of. By far ! Been so happy with this one haven't looked for others lately.

This has been a great replacement to TV Guide after they updated & ruined the app, but, I don't receive notifications for everything that I should. I only get some notifications for things I've scheduled reminders for or put on my Watchlist. That is the only issue I have. Other than that, it's great! The ads are almost unnoticeable.

Much better than TV Guide App. I wish I could give it 10 stars. Everything is perfect. Shows are accurate. Channels are updated per your area. New channels are added while others removed. I have not found any errors with programming in the apps. Even the ads are not intrusive. Great job Developers. This is my go to app to find out what's on TV.

This is one of the best apps I have found for my tablet.It is very easy to program, very easy to read, and superior than any other app.for my TV listings. Would give it a ten, if that was possible. It is very accurate, easy to program, and one of the perfect apps. I have. If you are in a rest home or nursing home, like I am At present than this app is an Absolute must, since you have a limited amount of TV channels and no TV guide

Great tv schedules, better than the old tv guide, I read some of the critical complaints and haven't found anything wrong with this app yet,. Shows program description, actors, and has program reminders. Also let's you follow a series. Just check the channels you like to keep up with , the ads are built into the listings, so no popups, very nice tv guide app. God bless you all!! Out of all TV listings I tried, this is by far the best one I ever used. I highly recommend it. You are able to customize your listings for strictly your local area, and you're able to add stations that other guides don't have. Top rated app. Only downside, sometimes too many ads.

I don't know what I would do without the TV guide app not only does it save me money cause diving to the store and buying a TV guide or getting the news paper cost money. It is so easy to navigate and you can pick out your favorite channels but you can program it to have just the channels that you get. I just love it.

This has been such a welcome experience! I had the TV Guide App for a long time and it was truly not working and had so many problems. Frustrating to say, the least! I would please just suggest that you might show the release date for all movies and not just the ones you are able to scroll down to see the "Show Overview" which does show the release date, duration, movie type. I am new to the App. I don't believe that most Listings show the date and year. Now that would also be great! Thank you!

1) I like the convenience of having this on my phone. 2) I like the ability to order channels. My favorites are at the top. 3) I like being able to look ahead multiple days. 4) I like being able to change the lineup when I travel. **** - 4 stars. The missing star(s)- (A) Searching is not robust. Key words in listings do not return hits. (B) Many shows don't include disruptive information. (C) Many shows are on a week basis, but this only lists 7 days, so one can't look at next week's show.

... so far so good!!!... very satisfy with this App. I encounter Just one small issue. It's not a big deal, but i would have preferred not to deal with it. I couldn't filter certain channels i really DON'T care for much for them to appear on my Favorite Channels Line Up. I tried several times to block them, but they keep showing up. Perhaps, they can not be filtered out?... i filtered out dozen others, n it worked just fine, except a few of them, i jyst can NOT GET RID OF THEM...go figure!!!

Some channels it just doesn't show, like 2 and 17. Others are incomplete, like 14. The channels that are there are VERY helpful as this app is the only way we have of knowing what's coming on and by that I mean it's highly accurate. The only problem I have is it's always in chronological order as in 7 thru 54. But scrolling is easy enough. Had to re-load app, now it gets all channels from 2 to 69. And it allows for removing duplicate channels. Nice improvement.

Overall I like this at quite a bit, it is very clean & easy to read, most of the time the show information & times are correct. However, I am running into the same issue I had with a previous TV guide app, namely, listing a show as new when it clearly is not. Perhaps you can only go by the information offered by the individual networks, if so, shame on them.

I like the app, use it every day, and highly recommend it. Among its many features, it has the ability to customize a channel lineup from air, cable, and streaming sources — nice. Ironically, that flexibility is also the one aspect to which I'd like to see change in a future update — I wish for the ability to long-press and drag/drop each channel individually to the exact preferred place in the list, rather than just resorting the entire list by methods offered. Give it a try!

This app is perfect! I was using the TV Guide app until it was "upgraded" and totally destroyed. I get OTA TV having cut the cord years ago. This app let's me select my area by zip code, then just choose the stations I actually get. The time listed at the top is on a slide bar so I can see what's coming on and it goes out a few days so that's good. 👍

When you get it set up for the right antenna TV channels it is GREAT. I did have some difficulty getting it set up for the correct listings but after that... all is well. one of the features I like most is being able to set the alarm clock even 7 days ahead of time to notify me that a program is coming on in one hour or 30 minutes are 5 minutes so many options. SIMPLY... It's fantastic.

Fantastic!! I wish all app developers were as smart and talented as this group are! This app will find the antenna (digital) channels you should receive in your area, and then let you choose which listings you want to see. They even provide program details. You can search for your favorite shows and set up reminders & alarms. Very few non-intrusive ads. I recently cancelled cable and this app has helped make the transition easier thanks!!

Pretty good app. One quirk is that you can't see listings for future dates beyond tomorrow. That was surprising, since it's typical to be able to plug in a date up to a week or two ahead (in TV Guide and other platforms). I like to see which NFL games the local affiliates will air a few days in advance, and I couldn't do that. Another helpful feature would be the ability to filter listings to include only HD channels, which the TV Guide app offers. Most digital broadcast channels aren't HD.

This app is pretty great and gives most of the listings. However, gave it three stars because there are constant changes in channels on broadcast television and yet new channels never get listed. This needs to be updated more frequently with all new channels added, and old ones deleted. When that starts happening I will update my rating, because otherwise it is an amazing app.

I use this app every day and it is almost always reliable. My only big frustration is that you can't customize the channel list. We live between two major markets and get some, but not all stations from both. The app forces you to choose only one broadcast city at a time. Also, you can't hide listings for channels that you do not get. Another improvement would be an update for digital subchannels. Many of our stations now have as may as 7 digital channels, but the app only shows the first few.
