This app literally does not work and nearly all of the reviews here are fake--I'm guessing to make it seem more legit? Awful. Check the comments before downloading. They all say nearly the exact same things and most were posted same-day. If you need a good remote, you're better off downloading one of the universal remotes in the play store like I did. Hope this helps.
Was hoping it would let me change my inputs... it doesn't. Other basic controls work though
If you have an rca TV and a mobile device with an ir blaster then you'll be happy with this app. Although it's slowish

It requires infrared led to work. It'll be great if there also was a Bluetooth option.
