TV Remote for Sony

works well for my Sony Android tv. it is easy to use, ads don't get much in the way at all. fairly good app if you lose your original remote. works better than the another app that wants you to pay a subscription for for Sony Bravia TV. I have to reconnect every time I open this app but it's pretty easy, just make sure you're on the same wifi as the tv and sometimes you have to manually type in the TVs Mac address

This would be a great app if it offered a premium, no ads version. As is, it works, it's full featured and useful, and it seems well designed and programmed; however, the ads are so intrusive I feel like I'm working on 2/3 of a phone. Uninstalling in favor of a competing remote with far fewer ads. Please provide a premium, ad-free version. I'd be happy to buy it.

A great app with one issue. I can't turn the tv on with the app. The tv asked me if I wanted to keep the tv on standby all the time so the function to turn it on would work through the app, but the app won't help me turn my tv on. This makes me sad because this sort of defeats the purpose of no longer needing a remote, as the tv has no power button. I am sad...

I have impaired Vision... I would happily pay for ad-free version... These silly adverts, is very stressful for someone like me because I never know whether I'm clicking on the actual remote or some other app, that would cost me without realising I'm going to persevere with it for another month, but if the developers are unable to do the kind thing, and give vulnerable people like me the option to pay for an ad free version... Then I'll delete it.. The pop-ups are making me anxious 😢

This app can/will put the BRAVIA 4K Ultra HD HDR Professional Display in standby mode, however it cannot turn the panel display on again. Instead, the Netflix button will turn the panel display on, weird. The app cannot discern between a short button press or long button press. On the original IR remote (RMT-TB400U) long pressing the power button can access option to restart the Bravia display panel. Same with the OK button cannot use the long press feature.

It gives me complete control over my 4K Bravia TV. Very easy to use (on a Samsung Galaxy Tab, no real estate problem there). I can control the Youtube, Kodi apps and others. Gives me access to the TV menus, etc. I keep losing my remote, plus remotes get old and deteriorate.This app is a TERRIFIC replacement. Only flaw is, it turns off the TV but cannot turn it back on.

Good functionality ... unfortunately ads take up a lot of the screen ... Has a section identifying premium features although not sure how to access them. If there is a premium version without the accursed adds, it would be worth purchasing. As it is it is just annoying. Uninstalling.

Only app I've found that works with the newer (2017) Sony lan control while the TV and phone are on a different subnet (through a firewall pinhole- TV is on my untrusted wifi/lan segment). Also, I have yet to see any ads. My only suggestion is for a button layout that matches the new smart TV remotes, or at least has the same buttons/icons.

The updated version has more apps than ever. When I'm gone for too long, the app can't reconnect to the TV even if I search and refresh and all that. I have to uninstall and reinstall it to make it work again. :(

Perfect download app experience! Haven't used an older Sony Bravia in 5 years. No HDMI or USB ports for Roku. Hooked up to antenna. Used my Samsung G5, has old IR software, instead of new A20, which didn't work. Trading up for G9 tomorrow. Your app is perfect for we old folks that keep our old stuff working! Thank YOU! Just moved, and I will find the Sony remote, eventually. Have been using another tv. Patriots on Sony tomorrow! Yeah!

My remote busted up and I didnt think of looking online for an app, when I did, i found this! It worked fine initially and then stopped connecting altogether, re installed it twice thereafter and now working fine! I'm happy I can use my tv again! Thanks!!

Unbearable amount of ads. There are constantly ads on main screen but in addition for that full screen ads pop up when you least expect that. It's unacceptable that when I close the app it starts full screen video ads. And these video ads can be closed after 10 sec or more

It works fine except for the OK button, but, since the OK button is needed to control literally every feature of the TV, this small oversight essentially renders your app completely useless. (This issue appears to have been fixed).

This app seems like it maybe a god app but if I'm entering my tvs ip address and it's connected to the wifi which is the ONLY wifi connection I have and it still saying not connected even doing a manual connect then it's not a good app for me. Uninstalled. Maybe another remote app can help me..

Loud full screen ads. Even when you exit then you need to watch full screen video ad. So when this app is open and you'll get phonecall then you can't even answer because fist youl'll need to wait for the video ads to stop. It's not possible to skip the ads

It works but with so many ads it's unusable. Just give me an option to buy it to remove ads. I will turn it on and an ad will blast at full power and wake my kids. Hate it!

Not an impressive app the first time I used it bec I had difficulty piecing the man altogether. Uninstalled it because it didn't work the second time i used it, even after I quit the app and restarted my phone. A so-so app I was not able to take advantage of.

It was nothing like our TV remote. Most functions were unavailable, I could not even find or add the guide. Flooded with intrusive & popups making it impossible to even assess. I gave it under one minute before uninstalling it.

Why so many ads. Total waste of time. I understand ads are needed but why so many. Half of screen is covered by ads and then thre are loud video ads every time when I open the app or try to exit. 0 stars for wasting my time

it didn't take long for me to decide isn't for me. Ads everywhere taking up about a third of my screen and here it come almost everything i did triggered a full screen AD. There doesn't appear to be a way to buy a AD free experience so I've uninstalled

Excellent !!! I lost my remote control and couldnt watch TV. I downloaded this APPS FOR MY SONY TV , UBELIEVABLE !!! WORKS SUPERBLY, NO ADS , EASY TO USE , I CAN USE MOST OF THE FUNCTIONS , CAN EVEN WATCH NETFLIX WITH THIS REMOTE , EVEN MY BLUERAY DVD !!! AM EXTREMELY HAPPY AND I DO HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE TO GO FOR IT WITHOUT ANY HESITATION FROM OTHER APPS , U CANT USE ALL THE FUNCTIONS AND IT GETS VERY BORING WITH ADS ALL THE TIME .BUT NOT THIS ONE !!!! I rarely give you reviews but this is worth it!! I downloaded 3 others that did not work or were terrible. This one worked immediately. I have been using a week. Works on everything, Netflix, volume on TV and sound bar

Glad found this app that works with my television after my remote for some reason os grounded. Once setup you can automatically use it as remote.

It worked great for the first week then stopped working. Checked all settings, made sure everything was connected. No reason other than the app just stopped.

ads take up majority of the screen. Clunky to use and replaces a one hand remote with a two hand remote. only good for novelty purposes or for those who enjoy having their phone battery drained by watching ads.

Giving 4 as l'm like a.dog with a bone, l will try to figure out how to work this app before l give up. I had similar app and find this app better performs just by a hair. Trick is when you leave the remote page to say phone page, use the back page arrow to return to remote and not the remote icon in upper left corner

The paste text feature doesn't work. I paste text into the text box and hit enter but it just hits whatever key the TV screen has selected instead of importing the text from the text box.

Works perfectly well with my Sony KDL-W32705C and Redmi 7A. All functions work well. Installed it on all Android phones in the house, so that all family members have their personal remote control. Thank you for the app)))
