TV Remote Universal: Free Remote Control for LCD

Garbage application, doesnt let you pick your television, instead it let's you choose from a cryptic list of files that are in no way relevant to what you are looking for. Uninstalled in less than a minute after I found the correct remote code and it didnt work. The remote on your phone screen in this app also has no tactile feedback so I dont even know if it was working. Garbage application. *edit* also 99% of 5 star rating are from people who havent used it yet. They ask you to rate before.

Very annoying to use. Not sure what the code is for my tv brand, so I have to manually check all 30+ types with no frame of reference to help. Well that should be simple, right? Nope! Every time you want to try a new code, you have to go into settings, choose brand AGAIN (which requires a LOT of scrolling since there is no search function) and then deal with loading and an ad or two in between.

No search button for tv list, annoying and long list for remote controls to choose. I don't even know know what the choices mean so i tested them all. None of it works. Run away. P.S Ads pop up EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME It's the same with others. Obviously, The developer of this app made multiple apps with the same design and different names just for showing ads. I guess though.

HORRIBLE! I couldn't even get this connected because of the number of ads. It opens and you have an ad, then I was forced to watch a video as just to get to where I could program the remote. Just no! Don't go here unless you want to have to watch ads just to change your channel.

Nope: Not "universal". I have an LG model 37LG30. Not listed. Accompanying remote control indicates MKJ40653801. Not listed. Used the closest TV listed - totally nonresponsive. Nada, nothing. Aside, still would have uninstalled it: Seems EVERY time I touched a button I'd get these redundant, interminable "commercial messages". Ach. Hated this thing. And HOW does this have a 4.3 rating! I scroll and scroll, and almost all individual ratings are ones and twos. Something stinks.

I have an Olevia TV with a model # not even listed on their website, and I couldnt find a remote for it. 20 DOLLAR universal remotes would not work so I tried this because it also woks on 2 of my other TV'S This app controls every option on all 3 TV'S. BUT....... every so often I do need to reboot my LG tablet it is on, or else it wont connect. Not a big deal, just an observation.

Upon opening, the app immediately requests that you leave a five star review. It didn't work for my tv at all, and as other reviewers stated, an ad pops up with literally almost every button you push. I thought the other reviewers may have been a bit less tech-savvy than myself, or that the app wasn't as bad as described, but it absolutely is as bad as others make it out to be. Seriously, save yourself the headache. Skip this one.

Setup includes a massive list of code names for controls to choose from, which bear no correlation to any TV make or model, so no hope of guessing the right one. Pick one at random and it doesn't work. Useless!

The setup is confusing and redundant; in that you have to start the search all over if you select the wrong code. In addtion, there should be an easier way to identify the correct manual needed. Too many ads.

Easy to select tv type, then lists dozens of remote types. Have to go through each one to find the correct remote. And the ads are terribly annoying. Do not recommend.

Didn't work for my LG. There's a huge list if possible remotes with NO guide - you have to install each one (not quick), test, and repeat. Super annoying

I was served an ad as I was trying to find theodel for my TV, then another just after pressing a button. If you don't enjoy getting an ad every time you turn the volume up or down, this as isn't for you.

Hits you with huge list of controllers you have to go through hoping to find the right one whilst being force to watch 2 ads at a time. Best part is none of the remotes actually work. Pretty sure this is a scam

Asked to leave a review right away. Got bombarded with ads. Remote dont work! Maybe it does but how am i to know what config file to use. Aside from going through every single one and seeing 2 ads each time... not worth it

The reason most people would use an app like this is because they have lost or misplaced their remote luckily I hadn't.... BUT I did as was told it didn't work so as it goes it's a Waste of mine and any other persons time and energy maybe sometime soon apps like this can be sorted by people who know what they're doing......

So many "remote" options to choose from....but so info to discern one from the other. Had to start at top and then go to the next down the line, then delete, reinstall, & start over again...trying to find one that worked on mine. I eventually deleted for good. Never found one to work before I gave up.

Doesnt work. Idk where all these positive reviews come from. It really does show you an ad for almost every button you press. Waste of time.

Didn't work on my Polaroid TV. Didn't have any controls for switching inputs or other functions. Just an American pad and channel up down volume up down.

There is an ad after every single click. It's completely useless because of that. It would be much faster and get up and go to the TV to control it.

Should have a way to do automatic. I have to keep resetting trying to find a remote that works for me. After 5 times restarting I give up. Will goto another app

This app is no good has lost of tv options but even when you fine your tv it does not work it's a waste of time I would not recommend it at all.

Got 4 ads before I could even select my TV type, then a request for 5 star rating, and then got an ad every time I tried to select a button on the remote. No thanks.

Just like everyone else, it comes up with a long list of possible remotes for the TV brand, none of which match, or work. Delete it, try something else.

Other reviews are true. First off was asked for a 5 star review before I even got th app open. After I picked my TV brand I was given a long list of models which made no sense to me. Idk how some people are getting 4 or 5 star experiences from this app. It was a total wash for me. 15 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. Don't waste your 15 minutes here!

Absolutely terrible. The amount of ads and videos you need to watch just to "unlock" the remote is ridiculous.

Too many ads every time you click something an ad pop up the same ad more irritating then wanting to find your actual controller so you didn't have to do this ugh😒
