Love this app, builtifuly and well designed with simplicity yet with all the features required to keep show history, visualize the scheduled episodes and discover new shows. Please, try to find someone else to keep with the work, or open source it for someone else continue maintaining. I tried alternatives in the past and none was as pleasant to use the this. By the way, congratulations again for the great work.
New design is terrible. It is now not clear which date we're at, and what shows have aired. There used to be a clear divider (past dates in grey background, future dates in white). Also, the ads are really in the way with the user experience, it's super annoying. Finally, it seems that the best feature is gone: I used to be able to click on the episode from the to do list and that would take me the show's page and allow to scroll between all seasons and episodes. Please bring it back!
Been using this for years and it was great. Last update changed the way ads appear and now they are super intrusive appearing in your show lists and look exactly like a show in the list instead of an ad. I have dozens of shows and don't really want to switch but I may have to with this latest update.
Love this app. Have used it for a very very long time and has never failed me. Keeps an ongoing list of all my shows. Have even found some new shows due to this app. Let's me know when new seasons are about to start and if anything is ready to watch. The app is feature packed too. Can make list, tags, filters, hide, etc. Developer did a very good job and continues to update.. Also no issues with the latest update for me. The design and format is nice.
This used to be a fantastic app. The core of the app still is fantastic. The last update however has added terrible adverts and is frankly a deal breaker. There should be no reason to have an advert that you can't close for 5 - 30 seconds every few selections of the app. This is really bad. I have to force close the app to get out of it. Adverts are fair enough but not the intrusive kind these app owners have decided on.
Has been my go to TV app for ages but this latest update has made it almost unusable. Crashes all the time, forever to load anything now, ads in between every five shows listed, on top of the random ad pop ups. Might be time to start looking at replacements if this stuff isn't fixed in the near future.
I love everything about this app and as a television programming professional, this app was crucial and convenient for everything I've done, and it's become a great archive for my ten year history of shows I've watched. I am devastated that it's shutting down. I wish I could save it like a Veronica Mars or Jericho or B99 #saveourshow campaign. Thanks for the memories.
Lost login, tried over and over contacting them to get my account back didn't get a single reply... Stay clear off this app. Edit: A few minutes after posting this review the developers sent me an email for me to contact them to try to resolve this issue but now I have moved on to a different app, had to do it because of the previous non-response
Have used the app for years and it used to work great. Lately it's constantly missing episodes. It missed three of the last episodes of a show I watch every week, and just for tonight two different shows that are on aren't listed. It's ridiculous because the shows are happening, but I won't know about it since I rely on this app to tell me. I guess I'm going to have to find something that works.
It's not the best interface and app on the market, but I love the tag option here. For the simple reason that I can tag the already downloaded tv shows episodes, but not watched yet, and it's fast and simple, a very useful option that surprisingly othere apps with better interfaces don't have!
love the look of the new UI. However, the ads were not as intrusive in the previous version. No hard feelings, I understand how this business works, therefore, is there a paid version? :) have been a fan for many years now. Edit: purchased as per received reply.
The app does what it says on the box, and I have happily used it for years. BUT devs have now switched from small ads in the bottom bar to full screen takeover ads with a 5 second closing delay. So for me it's now a search for an alternative app.
This app has hands down been a lifesaver for me over the years. I'm a stickler for keeping things organized and staying updated on my shows and TV shows fav has been my go to. Devastated that it's shutting down. If anyone has recommendations of similar apps with simple UX like this please recommend.
I freakin' love this app. It's 2019 and I have a trillion tastes, and luckily we're in the golden age of television so I obsessively need to watch a trillion things. I have so much ongoing that I wouldn't be able to keep up with if it weren't for this app. I look forward to checking off (in the widget) each episode I've watched. Go with the dark theme. It's gorgeous.
I used this app daily for months, and was happy with it until this new privacy policy was implemented. I'll be putting my phone on airplane mode, "consenting" long enough to retrieve my data, then uninstalling the app and looking for a replacement.
Was a good app, now ruined by greed. A story as old as time. I don't mind ads. Devs gotta make money. I get it, really. But I'm not letting you hijack my phone with ads that are so intrusive that they take away any utility provided by the app. There's a reason the rating has dropped and that will continue. Me? I'll be uninstalling, as there are plenty of other apps out there that can do the same thing without hijacking my phone.
Episodes are not updating timely. Used to be a great app. But there appears to have been a serious decline. Will rerate if app begins working appropriately again Edited: Almost the next day after this review was posted, all of my shows updated.
The app works great. I would like to see a note box for the shows. With tv, streaming, roko etc i would like to be able to put the channel where the show is located
Update: developer replied, issue sorted. Settings were just in a different place. Really disappointed that the widget now only seems to display recent episodes for the last seven days, which you used to be able to set to up to a month. The recent episodes list on the widget was by far the most useful feature for me. Such a small change has limited the usefulness of this app so much.
