Twisty Timer

This is a great app. There are no ads. It has everything I need. It is very customisable, for example, you can turn on or off inspection time and change the background or timer style. You can time every WCA event and add different categories. There is a list of OLL and PLL algs, as well as a trainer. Very easy to use, would recommend. Only other thing I could ask for is a way to put the times in order from fastest to slowest (currently ordered from newest to oldest).

It gives you the scramble, (Timer obviously), you can look through a catalouge of your solves, A graph showing your progress, you can change the event to 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, sqweb, even clock. Say you wanted a separate graph of your OH times, you can add that category under 3x3, and it will be separate from 3x3. You can even change the background and text to different colors of your choice. All of this, (And more I probably missed) is avaliable free, and with no ads. Best app I have ever used. Try it

Free timers are usually riddled with adds, but not this one. I don't need much out of a timer, just a responsive one and this one is just that, plus lots of features like trainers, algs, stats and customization options. The app is beautiful and I'm grateful for the person that made it.

This app is just perfect for me. I am practicing magic cube lately and it helps me a lot. It has everything I need, just how I need. This app is beautiful, you can change theming, you can change the algorithms, you can see how the cube will be after the scramble. Just perfect! And thank god, no annoying ads all the time.

I love this app. Its got great features and it's a lot of fun to use, but I found that the mixes were often easier than they would be if I was using cs timer. It feels like the mixes were incomplete. Please try to improve the mixes or at least add a section in the settings that allows you to customize the mixes (I couldn't find one). It wouldn't be optimal, but letting users make the mixes larger would help.

This app is without a doubt the best mobile cubing timer app I have used. However, there is one small issue: whenever I change the scramble from 3x3 (the default event after creating a new session) to a different scrambler, my other sessions disappear. To navigate this I must change back to 3x3, and then choose a different event. This may be due to my being naïve, or my device, though if others have these problems it would be great for you to fix it. Thanks!!

Old cubing fogey here, I'm not a speedcuber, but want to get fast. I really like this app for multiple reasons. It's easy to use. It's open source. Has multiple language support. Does random scrambles with a visual representation of the scramble. Let's you change color sides if you favor a particular color. Stats and charts. Export/Import capabilities. Only ask would be to have automatic Google Backup of data (maybe that exists, not sure) or ability to share the data export to send it to Google Drive or other storage or apps.

The best, Has a timer, manual entry is available for porting your scores from other apps. These are plotted on a graph. Times can be marked with notes to search for later. Heavily customizable, upto cube colours & algorithm references for OLL and PLL, Text size. Supports lots of puzzle types even though I just want 3 cube, which is cool. Only thing I haven't seen specified is the scramble depth or number, but I don't mind this because it's present in train mode. And it's free.

Love this app but it could use another feature. Please add the ability to copy the scramble to the clipboard. Unfortunately you can't do it from the timer page. But then going into the history you can pull up the previous scrabbles but still can't copy them. It would be useful for also running the same one to shoot for better times as well as drop it into other apps and notes.

The best scrambler timer among all. I noticed that the default color scheme for 2x2, 3x3, etc is not applicable for Square-1, as per WCA rules for scrambling Square-1. Most tutorials I watched start scrambling with Y on the top and R on the front. I tried following the scramble generated and it doesn't reflect the other scrambles. I suggest adding a permanent separate color scheme for the Square-1, since it doesn't follow the default color scheme for the other cubes.

Best cube timer I've found in 7 years of cubing! If the developers are reading this, PLEASE add a feature that automatically removes solves under 2-3 seconds. I am constantly accidentally hitting the timer and turning it on, then when I go to delete it I accidentally start it again so I need to go to the solves page. A setting for each session that allows you to turn on auto-delete solves under 3 sec would be the best! Adjustable for each session for solvers of 2x2 who get sub 3 times. Thx!

The is very very good, the algorithms provided are a nice touch, so this app is basically a timer and a tutorial how to solve the cube. My only complain is when I want do dismiss a solution in the main screen, it's often start a new solution (and sometimes when I press the scramble to see it more closely), but other than that, it's the best app for cube solutions.

Perfect for beginners and experts. Thoughtful touches, like resetting to a new scramble upon ending the current one and big, bright buttons. Loved watching my stats improve from 4 min average to 1+ min. Beats using my watch and refreshing an online generator to get a new scramble (plus, Twisty works offline). I found it just the best app for speedcubing. No ads, every feature free, best guide for oll and pll CFOP. Super elegant design, and mind soothing UI. Nice graphs, non laggy experience even with old devices, amazing scrambles, shows visuals of scrambles, simple for beginners, very usable for advanced ones. I was extremely impressed with this app, as not only does it have all OLL and PLL cases and it's corresponding algorithm, it also has a trainer to practice any OLL and PLL case you select! The app is also extremely customisable, and looks extremely good. The timer is very accurate as well, and it has all your solves in a graph format as well. Very impressive!

The app was already the best cube timer app out there, but after the last update it has become even better. It has a customizable super clean interface, lots of options to tweak, and provides you with loads of useful graphs and information. If you are a speedcuber at any level, this is a must have. Also, there are no ads!

I don't like the new design (and Material Design in general) but there is a problem with the new version which is way more annoying: sometimes when cancelling a solve with the back button of my phone, the recorded average changes and I often get a "new average best". However the averages restore to normal on restarting the app.

I've had this for an entire year, and I'd say it's the best puzzle timer I've ever used. Only thing keeping me from making it 5 stars is that there is no website or online app available to have it for Windows or Mac, I kept hoping for one to be made, that I can transfer my times to my computer through an account, but oh well, still an amazing app.

Unfortunately, there is no 6 stars option! The new update has just blown me! Everything is soo good and perfect! Very smooth. Also, the new colour themes are amazing! It is unbelievable to see such development in a single update! Although I experience a little lag when scrolling across OLL/PLL cases either for training or for reference! To sum up, This app is reaching perfection ! VERY IMPRESSED 👍❤

It's very easy to use and customise to your tastes with background and text colours, along with options to save times for different puzzles. I do wish it was possible to add custom puzzle names so I can practice non-wca puzzles but it's still a very good app.

THIS APP IS SO GOOD! I've tried alot of mobile timers for cubers and this is by far the best in pretty much every category. The amount of customization that you have on here and it shows so many stats from your solves. It doesn't need wifi and it can also help with algorithms too, it shows oll and pll and ts easy to use.

This has everything you want. Algorithms and timers for every "main" puzzle, in-app tutorials and algorithms, custom colors, deleting times when you screw up so it doesnt ruin your average, name it. Best cubing android app, period.

Undoubtedly the best timer on the Play Store. I would love some extra manipulations to be possible with the statistics, like show data for a certain period and only the times, or only the Ao5s, something like that. Also, I can see "Global" and "Session" in the statistics page, but they're both the same. How do I create a new session?

Great app absolutely the best out there. Clear,precise,accurate and no ads at all!! Definitely recommended for intermediate cubers who aren't too bothered about having the time exact to the nearest millisecond.

AMAZING! It has a timer which is the most important thing, but what I love the most is that it gives you algorithims! And it also trains you! You choose a case and it gives you notations to have it, then you practice it and can even time that!
