This app does absolutely nothing. You go to the twrp backup folder and won't open NE-THING! Always says can't open and asks "is this a twrp backup file?" um, that's at I'm clicking on!
Not working at all on 8.0 OS device. Unsurprising, but I wanted to give it a try. Looked promising.
Excellent This app is worth a shot if you want to restore or view or extract induvidual twrp files try this app
Does not work with Magisk systemless root.
wouldnt even load.reinstalled 5 times, checked permissions root etc
freezes.does nothing. SGS8
Not work on Android Lollipop
It's just OK — could definitely be better. And judging from the 3.9 overall score this app carries as I write this, I think I'm not the only one that feels that way. Put it this way : if you stick with it long enough to achieve a level of working familiarity with the app, chances are it'll do what you're looking for it to do. But I think a very sizeable percentage of downloaders won't bother trying to make it that far, because (a) first impressions tend to count more than anything else, precisely because they are first, (b) when it comes to software, first impressions are generally determined by the app's degree of intuitiveness (aka user-friendliness), i.e. how easy or not it is to get going right away, and (c) I believe that's where this app fails right out of the starting gate, with a somewhat-less-than-clear instructional pop-up followed by a nearly blank "your move" type screen. And I think it's either at this point or after a bit more tinkering that a sizeable percent of downloaders tend to react with "This isn't for me... let's see what else there is". This will especially be true for non-techies, and while not personally part of that group, I can certainly see things from their point of view (they're in the majority after all). So can it help you accomplish what you were looking for when you installed it? I'd say so, yeah. Will you get that done quickly and intuitively? A few might, but I'm pretty sure many will not. Overall rating : ★★★☆☆, i.e. "It's OK".
Working on my GT-i9506 CM11 (NeuDLi builds) with backups created by TWRP v2.8.x.x . File extraction is successful even though there is a message stating that there is an extract error. Big thanks to you Flaki.
It fails to extract, but it successfully restores and that's all I need from it.
Complete junk on my LG V20 US996. Opens and immediately freezes.
just like Titanium backup. Then would be perfect. Now I cannot do that because the Apps files are so many and scattered all over. Pls fix
Did not work on my rooted Sprint g900. Just freezes after granting su.
Working but the developer should make it more perfect that it can't restore my anything folder or I can found itc
Can't even start the app.. Nexus 6 on 7.0
App gets freeze after clicking to open
Asks for root permissions then nothing but a black screen.
Do you know a way to extract twrp...files?
Does not recognized twrp 3.0.0.0 backups

Found this app and was pretty excited however that excitement was not long lived. It let me open the TWRP Backup folder using ES File Explorer, but when I tried to open any of the files it didn't work. Other ppl said it works so maybe it failed because I compress my backups? Oh well Like the saying goes.. If it's too good to be true it probably is.. Back to TitaniumBackup
Cannot open any TWRP file. Stars for free offering this feature.
Won't open any twrp backups
Saved me having to restore an entire 1+ GB worth of backup just for one APK. This app saved me a lot of time. Thanks.
Thanks.
Either crashes or the title of every file is "illegal resource"
One more unique and amazing app from this dev, who never stops surprising me. It really makes our life much easier when we need to restore single files or folders out of our TWRP backups. Please don't downrate this app if you don't know what you are doing, but go learn about Android's filesystem instead, and make sure you have root access as mentioned in the description. Well done again dev, thanks for creating this and keep up the good work !
