TWRP Manager (Requires ROOT)

Just in case anyone is curious, this app can't encrypt your backups, doesn't seem to have working progress bars, and seems unable to back up to external media. Also, after trying to engage with support over the past 2 months without any response, they apparently deleted my ticket (that's ticket 10536). That's on top of the three separate emails I've sent. To reiterate, there is no way to use the native backup encryption, and selecting back up to micro SD still backs up to internal storage. Update: After responding to the response with full email headers for all the emails I sent and the automated ones they responded with proving that I DID in fact email them multiple times, they deactivated my support account in under 2 minutes! If only I got that kind of support when I was willing to work with them.

No way to know if Live backup is working. Says it shows progress in the notification shade. Really, can't see progress anywhere. EDIT: Yes, busybox is installed and it does backup caused I've checked the internal twrp folder, but there's no notification shade or progress bar

I have a Moto Z3 Play. Can't get it to install the recovery IMG. Motorola was nice enough to give me the unlock code so I did the fastboot oem unlock procedure successfully. The fastboot flash recovery twrp.img doesn't work. It's as if the recovery partition can't be found. By the way, thanks for responding to my comment. I didn't expect a response. I was just putting some information out for others with the same phone.

Have a feeling im just not advanced enough to use this properly. I have an old rooted phone a friend gave me to play around with. I dont have a pc. I was attempting to make it so 3rd party apps can erase files on sd. Strange. I can read, and copy files (most of the time), but i cant make a directory or erase. Also only some apps are able, and not more than 6 at a time or it fails. Phone has no native file manager you see...fun times. However the developer is very responsive!

Not updated in 2 years, doesn't work on Pie despite granting root, it stays stuck at 'getting permissions and root'. Have granted storage permission. Logcat shows warnings related to illegal classloader. Also, why does a recovery app need access to my contacts?

Won't even open. Asks for permissions and root access. after successfully given those, keeps saying "checking settings and root" forever..EDIT: Ran magisk in core only mode and it fixed it. Hope I would get around this somehow because I find all my modules important. :)

Says "requires root for most functions". Root is actually required to get past the intro screen. Dont download expecting to do some tasks without root. Context: I was hoping I could decrypt a android backup I have. Will continue searching for methods on how to do that.

App doesn't download recovery files anymore since the unnecessary fancy updates were done. Too much of a hassle, broken functions and frustrating to use. Uninstalled, will do it by hand... worthless

this app actually might've bricked my gal axy core prime with odin, im trying to see if it would charge or turn on rn, it hasn't so far. But before it turned off, it said it was on odin mode, I tried figuring out to go back to the system/homescreen, but it didn't work. any suggestions?

Magisk and its modules are the new standard; telling users to disable them instead of fixing how this application works is unacceptable; TWRP itself handles native OTA updates through Settings automatically still with Magisk installed, so this should be possible for this app as well.

Sits there "detecting root and settings" and wont even let me abort the operation or anything with the UI Only running Exposed with ONLY XPL and magisk modules only Exposed and YouTube Vanced. I don't see how any of these would break your app? EdXposed possibly? I just want to flash a recovery I edited my review from 1 to 5 stars because you guys actually reply more than any app devs on bad reviews trying to help.

Keep crashing every time trying to flash. Wiped the phone, unlocked redmi note 8t, still crashes a second after choosing flash

It says it cannot detect my TWRP recovery, although it works anyway. Also it says it can backup to internal storage only, but it is backing up to my external SD card. How is that so ?

It just crashes once I tap ok right after adding a zip file if possible fix it so that I'llvrate it higher and for others to apreciate this application

Running on OnePlus 8 Pro, Oxygen OS11.IN11AA (Android 11), Magisk 21.0 and Nova Launcher 6.2.14. Keeps saying it needs ROOT, even though Magisk provides ROOT access. I am not using any modules at all.

doesnt support pixel series, not suprised a/b partitions are tricky. im just searching for methods for flashing a temp recovery then flashing the twrp special zip from there

This seems to be an great app but it seems stuck on startup just showing checking settings and root.

What about sony e3 usedata backup errors.dd comand failed even with root acess by kingroot.sony ric and unknown protection causes read errors.is there any exploit to disable read protection. Will this app abled to bypass that.

Never gets past "checking settings and root". Have uninstalled and reinstalled, always the same. OnePlus3 oxygen 8.0

Absolutely pointless. Must have tried over 20 times to install any recovery. Never worked. It selects which recovery you want and does nothing else

Hi TWRP Manager app developers, I'm really intrigued by the magic this app performs. I'll sincerely say I love your work & I love the app too. I gave TWRP Manager a 5 star even though the app can't be used on my Infinix X551, but I've watched this app being used to backup & restore the custom ROM of some android phones it is compatible with. This app is a huge blessing. Please TWRP Manager developer, kindly update your beautiful app and make it usable for Infinix users {Infinix X551}. 😘😘

As read some modules from magisk effect functionality.. will it cause any issues during flashing? Do we need to remove modules before any image flash?

Not working at all.. the app just not working on Note 3 (rooted). Can't comment on what it can or cannot do....

Bad app. My phone poco f1 model. This app not working my phone.When I open twrp, it closes quickly. I cannot use twrp. This is an error.

Doesn't work on Pie. Gets stuck checking permissions and root.

It's an awesome app, but unfortunately just hangs on red hydrogen one. Any suggestions?
