TypeNote Notepad

Exceptional notepad! Much like the functionality I had in Palm OS. I have searched for a long time to find an app like this for organizing many notes of different topics with import, export, and backup capabilities. Glad to have found it. Would like to purchase ad-free version. Also, if there is a way to contact the author, I have a few suggestions to make it even better. Thanks very much! ~David

Able to create files and folders in a "tree structure" ...several levels deep. Something not seen much anymore. Backups to "Dropbox" etc or locally. LOTS of functionality. Been using it for years now and no need to look further for this type of app. Go for it! Check it out, you'll be glad you did!!!

Still one of the best hierarchical note apps available for Android. IMHO, it is better than Evernote in organization, ease of use and availability. I found out when I had to use an iPhone for work for a year. Know back on Android ,& Typenote. I store some of my Typenote data in Dropbox which allows me to access & edit the text files from Linux, Windows or Mac. Also I can keep a separate backup on Dropbox, just in case. Typenote is the Best!!

I love typenote, but I haven't figured out how to transfer the online backup when I change phones. There's nowhere to ask questions. I've run into this problem several times. On my new phone the area that says "restore online backup" is grayed out. Some support would be good for problems, esp when you have important notes you need to keep.

Exactly what I wanted. You are able to organise notes in folders, subfolders, etc... It backs up to local SD card AND online in Dropbox. No online issues like OneNote. Simple and fast. Store images if needed. Move notes easily. Export and import notes easily. Copy and paste text to other programs. 10/10.

Disgusting app. All my info lost because u are unable to design an application properly. I linked typenote to dropbox, where my backup is, and now your app crashes when I try to recover my info. Well donne! Excellent job guys!

This app makes it easy for me to store a lot of information and keep it well organized. I am also able to back up this information, which is a very valuable feature. The only negative is that I can only access the app on my cell phone. I would like to be able to sync it to my laptop or other device.

Recently try to backup to Dropbox, but it not working, just hang there .. then try to restore data and all record are gone Is it the problem with Dropbox or type note? Pls advise. Try to fix it ASAP, tqvm

I loved typenote notepad but I accidently uninstalled the app. I quickly re-installed but now all past data is gone. So a 3 rating because there is no way to restore lost notes😢.

It works for me. I like to organise my notes into folders and it's easy to backup the notes , ideal.

The only problem is that i cannot delete the templates folders. When i delete it. It comes back when i open it again.

No rich text at all. Attachment of picture. No search inside note. The only plus are folders.

I have counted on this app for years now. I categorize all of the things that run my life and count on it being there. Under the right category! Ready for anything.

An abandoned application with last update on 2017. No updates, it means one day the application will velong to the past. I found better application but I give 5 rating, only because I appreciate the use of this application.

Love this app, the only thing I would like is the ability to add bullet points and checklists.

Great app for making notes within folders. Easy to use and edit.

I really wish it had a way to transfer the data to another device or save to another app for transferring.

Can i use this on my windows 10 desktop..?

Could use a menu feature to ”Select All" in order to copy and paste entire note to a message, using the select arrows tends to move phrases around in the text body, hard to control selection. would like to see an export option to export a backup file in textnote or other format, preferably a off file to transfer to laptop, dropbox not useful.

Much needed in my life...Helps me stay organized and too Remember so much! Love so Much that I've carried this app through multiple phone upgrades.

This is a good up for simple notes which can be organized with folders. And able to sync files online to new device.

Its easy to use cause i saved so many datas almost everyday.

Used this app for many years already. But now that i need to restore from Dropbox, i keep getting "Typenote has stopped." Can someone help?
