The BB&T banking app used to be great. I've been using it for years with no problems, but tonight I tried to log in to my account and it redirected me to download the Truist app. The executives got their merger and fat paychecks - why do they have to go and mess with our banking app? I don't want a new app that does less and looks worse than the one I've become accustomed to. I've been considering switching banks lately - this will make switching easier.

Has always been accurate and up to date with balances, deposits, transfers, and any else that you need to know about your accounts. Easy to navigate, the dashboard area is excellently laid out with everything that the app has to offer in menu across the bottom of the screen. With the icing on the cake being able to sign in with your finger tip. They have done very good with the app., keep up the good work and thank you for being a great bank.

It's a mediocre app at best. It's irritating that every time there's an update that you have to re-enable your fingerprint login. Also the portal and interface to access your credit card rewards is clunky and not user friendly. Lastly, if you use another bank account to pay your bill, there doesn't seem to be a way to save it for future payments. These all seem like basic things that the app doesn't seem to do well.

Great user interface and easy to navigate. It's easy to access many different controls and options, for example, it took me only 5 minutes to design a new card for myself, with my own personal design! Mobile deposit takes about 3 days to register which is a pain, but i usually deposit at an atm, which mitigates the problem. The app is a solid hit!

Absolutely love this app. Complete & total access to all my accounts at my fingertips. The user interface is by far the most appealing aspect of the app. Extremely easy to navigate. This app coupled with direct deposit is in my opinion the only way to go. No more standing in lines at the bank after a hard days work. I also use the 'Zelle' app as well. Makes it so easy to transfer funds to my children without having to stop what Im doing and go to the bank. Love it. Great job. 👍

I love how i can view all the funds in different accounts at the same time. This app has definitely helped me manage my money easier. For some reason my rewards won't let me cash out, even tho i have enough rewards saved up and tried several times. It shows it goes thru and sends me an email that it was successful. After a few days it'll send me another email saying there was a problem and returns it back into my rewards. Other than that I really like the app.

Everything worked well until I had to update the app. I am still after 10 hours unable to update. I have plenty of storage space on my phone but it just keeps clocking and saying pending. This is frustrating because it happened right after I received an alert to my email that I have a negative balance. I don't see how if I haven't even used my card in over a week.

Great app, but needs a little work. Setting up the regions for restricting your cards to use only in certain areas does not work from the app. Customer service sent me to log in online to make changes. It would be nice if it was working, since its hard to get to a computer sometimes when you're out of the US.

I love the layout of this app. It's intuitive to my way of thinking. But the app and the institution are totally undependable. Frequently I cannot access my app using the fingerprint option even though the app says my fingerprint is recognized. I frequently do not receive the alerts I have set up in my accounts. And it's not a failure of my media. The alerts are not in the app alert history. They are never sent. Very disappointed in BB&T as a whole.

I like the convenience of using the app but there's too many steps to switch back to the account ledger from other areas in the app, i. e. bill pay. Also, bill pay is not alphabetized by the nicknames which is very inconvenient. I use the app all the time because I'm hardly ever at my computer, but it could use some work to make it a little more simpler and faster. Update 3-3-20: App is getting better but still needs improvements.

This app is no longer functional at all since BB&T merged with Truist. Their new app is not as good, but there was no option to keep things the way they were. Why even bother making a completely new app with the same data only to mess up the previously existing features which were fine the way they were? (And adding fees for anything that isn't exclusively their ATMs which don't exist anywhere near me...) This might be the final thing that gets me to switch banks. Super annoying.

Really frustrating to get auto logged off when trying to deposit check with mobile deposit. Have uninstalled and reinstalled app. I have had no problems doing several times previously until today, when I really needed to make the deposit. An alert to this issue would have been awesome so i could have drove the 40miles to the bank. Very frustrated!! please fix this issue!

Overall this app is very good and easy to use. Finger print sign-in, easy transfers between accounts and quick access to see account balances are some of my favorite features. The only 'bug' is the Zelle payment feature doesn't remove payment requests once they have been sent, which isn't hard to work around.

It's a wonderful app that allows you to transfer money easily. The features to be able to manage accounts and transfer without going to the bank is a wonderous technology. I only rated a 4 because people easily give five then regret it when an issue with app arises. I have nothing negative to say except for the app updates and maintenance that's out of our hands. That doesn't make it worth a one or two.

Got a new phone that is just an upgrade of my last one which is an android. When I go to rewards the page is blank. I uninstalled it and have been trying to download it to reinstall but it just keeps trying to download for about an hour now. I have been a customer for over 20 years. Very frustrating! Still "waiting to download "!

This app is NOT compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S5 phone (even though it says it's compatible on this site.) I've used this app for years but recently got a message from BB&T saying it was no longer compatible with my phone and I would have to upgrade the phone operating system to Android 7.0. Only problem is you can't put that operating system on that phone without risking bricking the phone. Thanks BB&T -- great work.

Very streamlined interface, easy to use and logically laid out. My only request would be they drop the inexplicable "U" branding or at least just name the app "BB&T."' I *always* look for it in the wrong place before I remember I have to scroll down to find it. Plus the "U" branding makes it feel like a college-kid targeted product, and I'm not sure they really want that as their default brand identity.

This app is great except it will no longer allow use of finger print. I've uninstalled & reinstalled, turned on feature many times until I finally gave up on it. Aside from that, it's a very helpful app once you sign in! If they can fix the finger print issue, 5 stars.

This is a pretty easy app to use. It's easy to teansfer between BB&T accounts and it's usueful tools to help create a budget is great; it also breaks down where you spend your money so you can adjust accordingly. The only downside, with BB&T in general, is that you can't transfer to other BB&T users directly without having to use Zelle. Aside from that, it's good.

app was working fine in the beginning for months and then all of a sudden it doesn't let me login on the first try anymore. Doesn't matter whether I'm using fingerprint authentication or my saved password, it takes about 2 or 3 tries til I can log in successfully. Please fix this issue!! When I am able to finally login, I'm still using the same password/fingerprint that I used the first time.

Haven't had any issues. Easy to use. Love how convenient it is to scan in checks and transfer money between accounts. Update: if you get a notice error trying to log into your account, it may need to be updated! I just had to go through it after racking my brain wondering what the issue was... After the update, it's working great again!
