I have many problems not just with the app, but also the card itself. The app closes itself everytime you leave it, so you have to re-login to input email codes. Hyperlinks don't work at all. It just loads and nothing happens when you click them. Unnessesary loading times, and many times where it just doesn't load. Features like the greendot reload center just don't work as advertised either. 2nd card just being declined despite setting it up correctly. I will never use this service again.
I havent had any problems with the card and have had the card for over a year I believe. But now everytime I log onto the website before I can log into my account it tells me that the host certificate is about to expire and that I need to update my app. So when I go to the play store to update the app my only options are to either 'open' or 'uninstall'. So I'm really hoping the card or app doesn't stop working on me all of a sudden because my rating will go down to 1 star at that point.
Got hung up on SIX TIMES after being placed on hold with a Total time on hold of just over 4 and a half hours trying to set up my card when I could have been paying bills. Thanks for wasting half of my day off. Miraculously I was able to set up text alerts so I can check my balance. When I finally got ahold of someone (weeks later), I was told I would be emailed a login ID and password but never received one. Absolutely THE WORST customer service I've ever seen and I'm IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
The worst service I have ever received and whenever you call to review a transaction it seems like no one really care to help. I'm definitely signing off. I had a charge put on hold and it was ok because i recognize the charge, i understand that once a charge is on hold that amount is separated from your current balance and set a side to cover that charge when it clears but no days after the charge was applied charging me twice for the same stuff, I dont want nothing else to do with them.
The only flaw with this app isn't actually the app itself. They have a policy that you can't withdraw from your savings more than 5 times. Which has taught me to save even more, but the first time I realized it, my account had to be shut down for an emergency. I understand and everything, but I'm a tired FedEx employee and wished they would have allowed at least one emergency every year or 2 years. Just saying.
Very buggy. Highly recommend you guys update this app like a few more times. For one, you can't even exit the app without it closing and having to start over. The login always fails after doing it twice. Even tells me i have the wrong login when in fact I don't.
App is completely non-intuitive especially for card activation and data entry purposes. It took me over 20 minutes to "simply" activate my account. Also, I literally just activated my card (a few minutes from the time that this review says it was posted) and it showed me my balance, 15 seconds later, the app prompted me that my balance is zero. Will be transferring my funds from this app and will cease usage of this app IMMEDIATELY! It is utter trash.
This is the worst app I've ever had the displeasure of downloading. It demands access to phone features that are not necessary and make your phone vulnerable as well as demanding two factor authentication which you can't do without two different devices because the app closes and resets everytime you check your email. F'ing garbage.
Put on this from a job, even though I didn't want/need it. Functions okay overall, but error messages come up when I try to look at certain stuff (like my transaction history). Could have something to do with it being a reloadable card, which is still bogus. (Also, valid 16-digit numbers are OTHER reloadable cards? Extra bogus.)
Can't access my account because someone had the grand idea to force a username/password change and refusing access online until done just to link the account to this app. Except I keep getting an error message "We're sorry. There's a problem on our end. It shouldn't last long, so please try again shortly." Except it's been an hour and I'm effectively locked out of my account for an app I never wanted.
This is the worst bank. I have to use it though because of work. It took me almost a month and multiple calls to customer service to link my account to the app, so I literally couldn't use the app. I couldn't access my bank statements. I had to call the customer service number just to get a balance on the card and just hope that my transactions were accurate. Now the app says i need to update and it takes me to the playstore and nothing pops up. So I'm back at not having access to it.
Very efficient app just wish it showed pending deposits with times it was put in and also a text stating that there is a pending deposit. So that way I would know if my payment was made by another, otherwise your stuck calling around to see where it is , if the payment was deposited, when it was. Should also show when it goes in after pending, so in another words. How long it will be pending for ... Like mins hours days etc.... Saves a lot of time calling and wondering.
The worst possible bank too ever use! I've had nothing but issues with them since I've been with them! I haven't been able too get into my bank app for over a month now. Everytime I call too get help with the issue I either get someone that doesn't know what they're doing, they're rude or they don't want too do their job. I've had some people try too help me with no luck. I enter my username and password and it says they're wrong everytime. They've sent me temporary passwords and still no luck.
My job is forcing us to use this app/card instead of getting cash tips at the end of the night. 🙄 Making money transfers are not easy. But at least it's easy to find an atm that DOESN'T charge a fee to with draw cash. So that's a bonus.
Very basic app earlier this year, lots of improvements and adding of features since then. Keep it up. Might suggest a stash option instead of just a savings account. But all in all a good app.
This is a useless card. You can't connect it to PayPal, cashapp, personal banks, you can't even add it to Google pay. Nor can you send a transfer over to another bank. I will be ceasing use of this card which was advertised to be so much better than it is, and deleting the app as soon as my actual bank account starts being where my direct deposit goes. I wasnt going to complain, but you kept asking and asking to rate so here you go. I can't give zero stars or i would. Awful.
It's ok app recent update took away an important feature and makes it less convenient. Before the update you were a to see buisnness name and date of purchase next to amount deducted from account. Now you have to individually select each transaction to to see that info. Could be a awesome app,switch it back to the way it was you will get 5 stars
I'm new to this. But as far as I have been on it, I like it. They keep you updated on every purchase. They send it to your email and cell phone if u want them to. Then they email u ur remaining balance after a purchase if you like. So far it's great... 5 stars. Now I'm sure I'm gonna run into customer service at some point, so hopefully they are as great as their app is lol
This account with US Bank my last option of getting an account. My bank account was closed due to a fraudulent cashier's check. My bank even allowed me to get the money. Then the check came back. Thank goodness it was only $1,300. My bank was giving me 60 days to pay back the debt. In the meantime, I am so thankful that Target had this option of an account. One benefit to my surprise is my discount that I have received using my debit card. This has been a GREAT experience.
This app has been useful. I got kicked out when switching phones and had a bit of a hard time recovering my acct, recovery was easy for me by just using my email address. So far so good no complaints. Whatever was fixed or removed or updated. Just keep going do not tweak anything to try to figure something new out Lol... Thanks
I downloaded this app so I could use it to get my paycheck, and nothing works can't see my transactions, I can't transfer any money I can't do anything. Just comes up and tells me that an error has occurred I deleted the app and reinstalled the app and the same thing happened one of the works apps I've ever seen....
Horrible app, customer service claims that you can link your Focus app account to another Focus Card, PayPal, etc. In fact there is no option online or on this app for any options to link to anything else, you're forced and stuck with just the Focus Card. US Bank is definitely one of the worst I've dealt with, dare I say worse than B of A?? Avoid this app, back, and card at all cost, F--
App is good at showing your balance and transactions. That's about it. App design, layout, available features and so on and on, is 10+ years behind 99% of others. Cannot even multitask/switch to another app & back. No option to send YOUR loaded money to YOUR OWN external account/debit card. Advice: Withrawl 100% after each deposit/load...don't leave a dime in their hands
