I've always loved U105, been listening for years, but ever since it was bought over, the repeated selection of music is becoming very tedious to be fair.. What's the sense of local music for local people, and it's on repeat ?? This is the only downfall. So glad of the guys who keep us entertained, no so fussed anymore on the repeated play lists. Get Dermot Kennedy added on, his music is fantastic and a young man making it big, and your listeners are missing out on a LOCAL lad 🙄
Good app, does exactly what it's supposed to... plays U105 even in the middle of the north sea. I even use the alarm clock which is better than any alarm noise you'll hear... the only thing that would be nice is if the U105 app alarm would have a volume control for the alarm so that if you accidently leave the media volume high the night before i don't get frightened by the alarm in the morning. that would be all 😊.
Downloaded for the podcasts but there are no podcasts from the app (despite the screen shots) so uninstalled. Good station though!
U105 is by far the best music channel at the minute for belfast and if you text in they read out and have good old fun and banter. well worth listening to.
Love this app as we moved from Belfast so have difficulty picking signal with FM & on digital but perfect with the app thanks enjoy the channel a lot Peter.

U105 is brilliant. My 29yr old son is a convert, he loves music and definitely golden oldies, my influence I think!!

What a great station, I work in the community for the Trust as a Domiciliary carer and I enjoy the great music and frequent local news reports. I've given 5 stars as the app allows me a top class reception wherever I travel compared to my car radio when the reception varies depending on where I am. The 80s music special was superb and superb and ensured our Easter Sunday dinner and prep was fun.
