UAV Forecast

Hourly wind forecasts are as accurate as any of the half dozen apps that I've tried. After using the free version for a year, I've upgraded to see the 7 day forecast and it has helped me plan my flying time much more accurately. This is literally the only app that I pay to use.

Why is the app pasting from my phone clipboard when I open the app? That seems like a definite security concern, and I cannot find any setting nor information about it. Otherwise, this seems like it would be very useful for checking conditions and permissions.

Excellent App...wish I could see further than 1 day without paying for it...I'd watch ads for that free service. So wish that I could set the wind for 100 ft then set the altitude for what that wind was at for 400 feet. It only shows gust, wind is still the same for whatever heights. But all in all a great App that's free and almost always spot on.

When I open the app I get a notification that it pasted from my clipboard. It has no reason to access the clipboard. Very suspicious.

Updated version. This is a very good app. It has been very accurate for the several years that I have used it. It is a great tool for planning trips to my club airfield!

It's FREE and it WORKS. If anyone complains about this app it should be the ones that paid the subscription. Anyone using this for free shouldn't be complaining. It works and gives you what you need before taking off and flying your drone.

The best weather for drones. Super detailed, so many options for customization, and a very intuitive visual representation of everything. I use the paid version and it is absolutely worth the money for commercial drone pilots!

Excellent App, does exactly what it says. The best endorsement I can give is that I still have a drone! I love the 'at a glance' grid. Keep up the good work, any chance of having a widget for Android?

Easy. seccint. Amazing tool for planning out flights. Also so comprehensive that I use it as my everyday weather app. Works great for planning bike rides too

This app is awesome! 💪 I know when I can fly safely, wind speeds at altitude, and much much more. Recommend to any (FAA Part 107) and (49 USC 44809) pilot.

Originally got different reading on two android phones but now have used the app for quite a while I check that all the app setting on different phones etc are the same. Works great, I check always before going to fly my drone. Wouldn't fly without it.

Outstanding app for any drone owner - FYI you can set your own limits in most categories. If you set them too high or too low you won't have useful data to determine viability of whether to fly or not. Use your drones specs and your piloting abilities to set proper limits for YOUR scenario and it will serve as a great guide.

I had 5 stars on this app untill today. I was charged the yearly subscription fee after cancel ing months ago as I did not need the premium. They still charged me and when I told them that it was a illegitimate charge they refunded me all but there service charge. I will not pay a service charge for an illegal transaction. Google should watch this company. And when I made my complaint I was told I was rude and blocked from even the free use. Worst customer service I have ever had.

Great app for UAV pilots. I'm in Maine and there's allot of small airports in my area so it's nice to know what to expect and the ability to communicate with fellow flyers and know who is going to be in the air around you. The new updates are great and is well worth using app. Plus they are collaborating with other uav apps. Be nice to add more drones to your app features. Still awesome in 2022.

Wouldn't fly my drone without this app. I totally trust it for my weather information for flying. And that's even using the free version. I'd subscribe, but I have no need for the other information. GREAT APP!!!

Really great app. I am using it for Dji Mini 2, to check flight conditions.

They've done a great job with this service. So far, it's been right on about helping me plan when will be the best times to fly. As with any forecast, the future can't be perfectly predicted. (I've seen much better GPS sat visibility than what was currently predicted, for example, so it's good to also have a GPS app that will show the actual visible+fix count.) But this service is great about saving my preferences and being easy to use. Best one I've found.

The amount of information this app shows is amazing. It would take several apps to do what this single one can. There's an optional subscription for $24/yr for cloud base data and weekly forecasts (instead of just 24 hrs), which I think is fair considering how much the app is already giving out for free. And I haven't even seen any ads, anywhere. It's convenient, time-saving, and provides me peace of mind to know my flying conditions so quickly and easily. It even comes with a dark theme :)

I am a glider pilot and I find the wind profile feature on this app really useful. Also the airfields map. Great layout and I really like the three options of views. Only problem is I can't seem to find where the cloudbase is displayed, even though it seems to be an option. Great value for money, but the free version is fabuliys too. Strongly recommend.

Love this app. I'm only an amateur 'pilot', and a beginner at that, but am using this as my bible in terms of flying conditions for my very small and light Mavic Mini, and it's nearly always bang on. I particularly use the wind / gust speeds, including the ability to look at a specific altitude. Lastly, the thing that actually prompted me to come on here and write a review, was the recent addition of the day/night/time/red/green/cloud/sunrise/sunset slider. Whoever thought of that was inspired!!

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this app. Only thing is I don't know where they pull data from but the wind speed has been consistently inaccurate. On more than one occasion I've checked wind, everything seems fine, but when I go out I have to turn right back around because the reading is about 20mph off. I just got home after a wind of 3mph/8mph was actually closer 10mph/25mph. This can be pretty irritating when you make a trip out and can't do anything but turn home.

Just found this app, and I'm very impressed! It's exactly what I've been looking for. One suggestion would be to add a confirmation before closing the app. I keep closing the app when I just want yo go back to the conditions page. Side note, $23 seems a little steep for only a year of access. That's a little hard to obtain via Google opinion rewards. Great overall implemention!
