UBell

I've had this app (and camera) for over a year and it's been hit or miss with this. However recently I can't access or save videos/pictures, which is an issue considering the whole purpose of the app & camera serve. Now I'm receiving notifications saying there's a bug in the app and it won't work properly until the developers issue a fix. Considering I can't find the camera itself anymore and haven't gotten an update in forever, I think it's fair to say the developer abandoned us.

The latest update did no good, when someone rings de doorbell it doesn't send a signal to my phone what previous wasn't a problem. I have tried everything, re-installed de app and reset the doorbell multiple times but nothing works anymore. I am happy to have a ringing part inside the house, that still works so I can react when someone is at the door. I think i will try something else, I will search for the previous programs and download a few steps back, hopefully it works.

This is a camera with LED motion lights. The camera picture quality is very good. However the microphone has a weird chirping sound all the time, not very useable. It's only been up for a second day and the app is not connecting to the camera. We tried with and without wifi not good. Tried on different phones, still nothing. Tried a wifi booster still not connecting. Update: This is a piece of junk now solar power does not charge at all The cost doesn't add up, if you can't use the product.

App freezes up sporadically and it takes forever to load if it loads. The PIR is too sensitive even on the low setting so can't use it otherwise it picks up everything that walks past my house. The video has a 2 second lag and the auto call can take anywhere from 3 to 10 minutes to report to my phone. Then God forbid if I have to change my batteries it takes a few hours before I'm able to see a live video.

very frustrating to use. there are no instructions anywhere that I can find and it is certainly not intuitive. I've been trying to make it go to cloud storage but no luck and no feedback. the doorbell I'm using is great this app not so. wish they would switch to another app so I can have a better experience. even though I love the doorbell I may have to send it back because of the app they are using IE this one.

Ugh. Good camera rendered useless by this unusable app. You can't schedule motion detection, so if you use this feature, the app dials your phone every time someone walks in front of the camera. It stores video on your phone without telling you. All your phone's regular photos are visible through the app, so I can imagine it would be easy for someone over in China to be reviewing all my photos as well as any of the video from the camera.

Had this bell for a year before changing it to the "Ring". Dont get me wrong, it does everything you want. Night vision, PIR/movement detection, records a photo or video of whoever's at the door. The issue with the Ubell is battery life. Even when it acts just like a door bell with intercom you are recharging the very expensive rechargeable batteries every 14 days for 6-8 hours. You dont have a bell system when that's being recharged! Ring is cheaper in the long run.

Works very good. Only thing that is poor is When there is detection at my door it takes a while before getting a notification. Before I get the notification the person is already gone. So the one thing I am missing is a snapshot when there is movement at my door or when someone presses the doorbell. If the developer adds that option it would be perfect. So please add a snapshot option to the app!!

I'm giving 3⭐'s because they don't have the option to get/buy cloud storage like VIVATAR does. And I get pic/video notifications of the same thing from multiple days, so that isn't very helpful/efficient in the case of an emergency. And there's NOT been an update to the app or service since I've gotten it a year ago. But I guess you get what you pay for. I would be much happier if the development team would improve this and provide app updates and a option to buy cloud storage to their service.

4* Video quality - Good & simple to set up. 3* Battery - consumption fairly high. 2* Response to alert - slow to respond. 1* Software - very poor - Should have separate options to record and for push notification for PIR and Button press, separately. Alarm is only via media control rather than call volume so many alerts are missed. Lots of room to improve and I hope they do because it could easily become a really good app.

It's very straightforward, just get in there, get the job done. I did encounter problems to connect my camera. However I read reviews from Amazon others seemed to have no problem to connect. So after some elimination I figured it is my router too weak. So I built a mesh router system and it connected like a breeze.

It's ok, but please make it so you can select your ringtone. And not just the ringtone, but the difference between a pressing the button and sensing a presence. I don't want to have to pull out my phone all day as my kids run around, but a tiny chime might be OK. And a doorbell sound for the doorbell, maybe? Also, the doorbell notification arrives about two minutes after the actual ring, making it fairly useless.

Would be 5 stars if you could customise the notifications (change sound and set up a schedule to avoid waking you in the night). Also, it doesn't seem to always save to cloud storage - trying to work out why - any time there is a detection (shown in red on the timeline) you would expect to have a video in cloud storage, but this doesn't happen

This is very poor system. The camera unit will pick up movement but notifications to your phone are hot and miss. They are always delayed. Luckily I bought the chime so at least when they press the bell I know if I'm in when someone is at the door. That's not why I bought it though. On a positive picture quality is pretty good when you do connect. Will be looking for a different product now to replace it. Will just have to wait and see if I can get a refund since it doesn't do what it claims.

The bell is excellent and cost less than the Ring. My one complaint is the delay of notification I have when I switched to the Samsung 10e. Also the updates for the Samsung phone is almost nonexistent. This is an update (11/01/2019). I switched my phone to galaxy Note 10 and sometimes it gets no notifications at all. I'm not sure but I think the weather is bbn playing a part in this, like the wind and cold. I'm in New York so weather is harsh every other day.

Some of the features are not fully explained. For example. The cruise mode. I found out how to use it. at the bottom of the options tab you see cruise. Turn it on then double click video frame and the. video will pan back and forth . Other than that this is a great app and video door Bell

For some reason the app is not working great on night vision, in fact night vision is really bad and you can't see a thing except a tiny light from a lampost! I've tryed different settings but all are the same and so it's useless on a night time. Through the day it lags and pauses although I've top WiFi it still isn't functioning as it would! Alot of money paid to feel secure in my home on a night with a good camera but let down by an inadequate app!

i really want to love this but there is like a 7-10 seconds delay before the notification pops up on my phone. the picture quality is great & sound is great too , but the cloud storage doesn't work , every time i try to rewind it pushes me to "go live" and shows me current video feed. 2 of the major functions of this app don't function properly , pls UBELL any suggestions to fix these problems?

I have been using this App with a UBell wireless doorbell for a few days and it isn't working great for me. Press of the Bell sometimes wakes my phone up when it's locked other times it doesn't make a sound unless i unlock the phone. As said the sound for the bell comes through Media Audio on the phone not your ringtone volume so many times no sound as phone media volume is off. Actually seeing video is 50/50 despite me adding an extra WiFi router near to it so it gets a full wifi signal (i found the actual doorbell doesn't get a strong signal despite everything else working fine). Some of this may be the actual doorbell i have a week to decide if i should return it - thinking i will!

Poor. The app connects to the camera less than 10% of the time and when it does, it is very laggy. The wifi extender is less than a meter from the camera. There is no way to fast forward when watching previous events. I've only gotten one notification, despite several instances of people ringing the doorbell.

Camera seems good quality and excellent image but that is all that works. Bought the noqnoq camera which took 4 weeks to arrive but after installing software and hardware find wr cannot get notifications on our android phones. There doesnt appear to be anyway to recharge the internal batteries without a lot of messing about so its going back as not fit for purpose.

Want to like this but frustrated with vague instructions, or worse, no explanation for some settings like "cruise" What is cruise????? The bell functions very well, but I cannot set up a geofence, so the motion detector is going off constantly on my phone.... LACK OF GEO FENCE is major flaw in this app. VERY BUGGY also, with pop up warnings about needing to update, but then failing to update over and over. App is one star. Will try another bell later this week and if better, will return this with some disappointment. I give second star because the bell has a good price and a good camera. Bummer!!!

Where are the instructions?? installing the doorbell it melted the transformer ! Power backing to is shorted! app is inadequate.. no cloud access. no controls 4 SD card... no saving videos u don't view... no changing date stuck on 2016... no volume control. Usb will charge battery.. no storage control...useless no usable features how 2 change the date and time??? And these screen shots are not accurate
