Too bad it doesn't work! I was excited to hear uber works was coming to Chicago so I tried it. I had a phone interview then was prompted to do the onboarding process. I did all the steps in the app and submitted all documents but it immediately rejected and said come into their office. I think it's just a gimmick to have you come in but why would I go anywhere if I don't even know what jobs they have.
This app is a useless waste of space, Still waiting for that introductory call they're supposed to do when you sign up to activate your app so you can do gigs, it's been well over 2 weeks and i haven't heard anything. I'm done waiting.
First of all, stop sending me text messages instead of notifications. Secondly, can we please be able to set a certain distance from our homes and only get shifts that are within that distance? Not taking multiple public transportation vehicles to a place an hour plus away that has multiple expensive requirements.
So far its terrible. You fill out some info in the app and then go to a site to bring your forms of identification. Once signed up, jobs are suppose to appear but they dont. Apparently there are many stipulations to getting matched for a job. That is according to a text message I received 2 hours after I asked why I havent seen any jobs pop up. The staff at the site seemed very inexperienced and lacking basic social skills, they didnt even shake my hand upon meeting, seriously. Too new.
I followed their requirements & even made a short clip required to be hired for whareouse / construction jobs & a few days later I got a text message telling me basically that there was no work for me. These positions I applied for the most easy to do jobs. I've done these jobs in the past & done them well during these hard times.
Give me some context, please. I downloaded the app out of curiosity for what types of jobs are available. Before you can see open listings, you have to go through an onboarding process which seems to include a phone interview. Scheduling the interview is where I dropped out. I love the idea, Uber, but I need some inside into what I'm getting into before I commit to interviews and banking information! Please allow users to view local job listings before onboarding.
Sooo.. apparently I got a phone call but it never showed on my call log. I did recieve a voice mail but tried to contact you guys back a few times and to my surprise no available person? So I'm baffled as to how to proceed further Especially coming into the new year with no real prospects or confidence that this app will provide me with any sort of work at all if at all?!🤷🏿♂️ What should I do? Wait for another month to recieve a call while checking the notification for disappointments?
Wow this app does sucks ..soon as I sign up and create a account it pops up just a " thanks will get back to you for a phone intro to know more about my experiences " what the hell ???? I thought this app would show me a list of jobs available..don't waist your time or MB. Downloading this bs ap! WHAT A WAIST
I would never encourage anyone to work with uber works. There pay is never on time, that includes the incentive pay they promise.and the deactivate you account for no reason.
What is the point of scheduling an interview call of they don't even call at the scheduled time. Currently an hour late. App is being deleted. Save yourselves some time and ignore this program
Waste of time!! All my co workers get offers, while I'm standing right next to them and I gets nothing. I'm ready to delete this unless someone fixes it to where I'm getting offers too.
I applied and got hired in November 2019! Only jobs was koch foods! I completed the form! But unfornaturely never got any jobs ! Waste of time! 😢😢😢😢 Unistalling the app now!
Freezing up cannot move forward. How can i find a job if the page keeps freezing. It will not let me advance because of the coronovirus
Just waitng for the phone interview to come through and to be accepted. I put my email and password in already and can't get in unless I'm approved.
I really don't have an experience yet the app is not active in California yet, support says they would contact me when they do
Terrible app. Its a long process to enroll and when you do there are no jobs available.
I am trying to register. It doesn't allow the biography information page to load. I am reinstalling it.
I can't get passed the biographical page. It just sits there, I can't enter any info. Really frustrating 😤
I like the concept but they aren't onboarding any new workers at the moment. Can't sign up.
So far so good. But how long does it take before im sent an actual job lead? I downloaded & completed info only a day or two ago.
Use to be a ubereats driver and every week they send me a message take selfie in the middle of an order you can't please customers uber take there side without considering the driver opening you. Ant please every customer you interact with.
app does not work on any device .. i tried to down load it over 2 days on iphone and android ...

As of yet i cannot say anything about Uber a Works.. I dont work for them. Ive heard alot about this company. Never knew they offered other emplyment besides driving. Im curious is this Uber Worjs co.the same company that hires drivers? If so i would also be DEFINENTLY interested. I hear if you do not have a vehicle you offer one to lease? I would be very interested.
App has no access to storage. Can't save PDF files to device.
If you only want to be offered work at a chicken processing plant, this app is for you. If you want to be scheduled for a month of shifts and then have them canceled less than 24 hours before they were supposed to start, depriving you of income and other employment opportunities, you'll love UberWorks!
Wont allow you to pick up shifts cause the apps keep stopping
Never any work available. This isn't anything like Uber drivers app, what a waist.
App gets stuck in the calendars for call no available dates
Help text-line acts like you're speaking Klingon when requesting your onboarding documents since the app won't let you download, citing permissions which isn't even an option in the app settings through my phone. 99% of the jobs posted are factory jobs, despite advertising so many different options. Also no way to see which types of jobs you were approved for.
