UberSocial for Twitter

Finally, a decent replacement for Twitter and I've tried so many. Lots of features. I like to try before I buy, so as not to get burnt. Simple to use, yet powerful. Most of the Twitter replacements haven't been updated in over 6 months at least, not to mention the features are lacking. I've only had it a few days, but I'm very impressed so far. You don't have anything to lose but frustration, so give it a try, I'm thinking you'll be glad you did.

I've been using this for years now, but lately it keep freezing and doesn't refresh.

I would like for there to be an option to put my feed on "Dark Mode". I think that feature would make it a lot better for many people. I know it's an option for users on iPhone or for those who use iPod's/iPad's. But I would like that same option for when I am on my android phone too. If this can be made possible for android users, it would be very much appreciated!

There has been a glitch for over a month now, anytime I click the trends tab the search tab gets stuck. And it's been running extremely slow. Update 11/06. This app used to be my favorite, there are too many issues with this app. It glitches, it shuts me out. It runs super slow.

The app has completely stopped working. I can't open any user profiles and my timeline quit updating as of 4/19. No matter what I try to do to refresh it, it will not take. This was my favorite Twitter app. Very disappointing! Edit: Thank you to support for reaching out. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it seems to be working now.

Installed first time - constant interruptions - uninstalling. Trying to change settings , look and feel, after first time install. Keeps on interrupting and going back to main screen asking for more info. Very annoying. I want apps to work for me not not the other way round.

Thumbnails instead of full pics is a HUGE problem for me. That's why I won't fully buy it. Allow us to opt in for full pics in display like it is in original twitter app, I'll go for it. I love the signature, that's what I needed. But I need those pics. Now I have 2 apps I have to use, and I'd love to ditch the original.

The app looks like it would be good, however the constant repetitive notifications of DM's (even though no new ones have been received) makes it impossible to use - I don't want to turn off notifications in case I miss a message.

Not Entirely Glitch Free You have acknowledged knowing about the issue with the rotating view / jump to the top of the time line issue. You have also promised to address the issue in "future releases". When will this happen? It is beyond frustrating. 😡

App is good but, needs some good development like compose tweet in bottom, add timeline search to search if particular person's tweet in timeline. I will buy in future if these changes are made because I like this app and I can pay for it. I have used Tweetbot in my iPhone that's great app and I feel Ubersocial is also good app for android just need some changes. Thanks

Here's what's good: Customizable columns. Ability to jump to top of unread tweets. Uncluttered layout. Displays quoted tweets in context in timeline. Displays previous searches in case you have some you revisit. Here's what's bad: no way to read a thread unless you open one of the tweets midstream. No way to see counts of likes of RTs of any tweets. My hard return button disappears when composing a tweet so I cannot control line spacing. Error messages when posting threads.

Nice compact layout and works well and smoothly but you can't see tweet information at a glance (likes, comments, RT). You have to click on the tweet to see that info. They do nicely display a lot of information when you do click the tweet but i want to see at least some minimal information on all the tweets initially displayed. Bummer because I was liking the app.

Have been using iOS apps for a long time with no issues. Installed this app on Samsung tablet and within a week found I was following several accounts I'd never heard of. Coincidence? As a result I am uninstalling this app. Would advise others to be wary.

I've literally been using UberSocial since 2011- 2012 before Uber was even as big of a company as it is today. I'm so happy for all their success they've been having throughout the years! So just the memories and loyalty alone make me run straight to this app! But I absolutely love it!! I always thought my Twitter was cooler than everyone else's Lol. So happy that this app is still relevant!!! 💕💓💞💗💖💕💖✊🏿

I really enjoy this app.

Needs an option to open tweet pictures in full screen instead of having to scroll around the picture. Also, displaying the thumbnail below the tweet like Tweetings instead of off to the side would be nice.

It's increasingly hard to find a good Twitter app but this one seems nice. I'm a bit baffled that it doesn't display the number of replies/likes/retweets each tweet has. Otherwise, very good so far.

Constant DM notifications is still an issue. I have opened each individual message but still getting notifications even after today's update.

I really would love to be able to open youtube video externaly in the youtube app. After rotating the display I'd love to stay on the same tweet as before(not going to the latest automatically).

Starting this morning, the app will no longer load new tweets. Attempts to manually refresh my timeline result in seeing the "Crikey! Error." message. Please fix this.

reliable, been using since the age of Blackberry, my only issue is when i set auto rotate and, suddenly i have to reload the page on twit link but I already clicking it deeper

If you care about privacy stay far far away! Upon installation you are provided with several links to opt of data sale and harvesting but all the links are BROKEN and when you go back the links vanish. SO SHADY!

One of my favorites.,. Over the years, the simultaneous update to Twitter and Facebook became useless. It now sends a link on Facebook instead of the post so that has made me reduce my rating

I do miss the old feature. Please bring back the old feature. A feature that able to see someone's mention. I will add 3 stars again if you bring it back

Having issues downloading images from my timeline. Noticed the problem today unsure why this is happening. Fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

I got 4 notifications from them with advertisements in the space of two minutes. Agreeing to advertisements and getting your phone highjacked is two different things.

Seeing your own tweets has 20 other than that the app has almost everything that we Castor has. Very functional. Lots of options.
