UC Browser Mini - Smooth

Very practical because it takes me to the pages I want to search for immediately. Look, it does not weigh as much as it's full version but it does give you the info when you need it instantly. Even though it's very common seeing small and poor quality of the ads you see through some pages, it does not matter at all if you don't care about them

Before, it was good, and it is my pick to do just about anything; watching videos, reading, and even download some pictures. But now I'm disappointed. The UI are almost identical to UC Browser. In fact, when updating, I was confused whether I'm actually downloading UC Browser or updating UC Mini. I uninstall & reinstall and well, bummer. Anyway, apart from what other reviews said (which is true), there's a technical problem with the latest update. UC Mini supposed to have its personal video playback and it does have it, except it doesn't work (anymore), and the original video you're watching will play but without visual graphic. Only sound.

Have been using UC for almost a decade now, and I can tell you it's one of the best apps out there for all kinds of download...Incredibly fast. The only problem however is the heavy background activity which is not so good on RAM management, and the ads! The ads are very intrusive and infinitely annoying. You click on an url and it redirects you to a meaningless ad. Maddening! Please control the ads. Otherwise this is a fantastic app.

The new update has great look to its interface and although I'm not yet entirely used to it I can say that it makes the app more appealing. I'm glad to see that the bookmark and account sync feature is included as well, which makes retrieving saved bookmarks more convenient. I am a little worried that none of my saved pages seem to open, especially the ones that we're saved in mht format. I would appreciate it if you can help with this issue as best as you can. Thank you.

Previous updates seem to have solved the 'Speed Dials freeze' bug and other problems, but since then they are only displayed with 5 Speed Dials (instead of 8) on each row as if viewed in portrait mode, even when I'm on landscape mode. Hopefully it won't be too much trouble for the developers to fix. Till then, i'm keeping the remaining 1 star with me. Thank you for this great browser app.

I downloaded it because it has speed mode which I found it very useful in some website. But after the latest update, you make it more complicated and the option 'Others' doesn't work like the old one. Please do fix it. Thank you. (edit) I updated it to the latest version still can't found lite options in others website. only mobile and desktop. what we need is a simple speed mode like the previous versions. please bring it back.

UC mini, never slow.. downloads are super fast even on a poor network connection. It's none arguably the best browser you can find and the only browser I use. But it sometimes clears of data unexpectedly, doesn't save history of more than two days and heats the phone alot. Though it's still the best, it will be super if those are fixed. 👍👍👍 Thumbs up

DEAR UC Mini, I have been using the app for years and it is a very satisfying experience. I am using a older version of the app as I don't need a feature heavy apk. I mainly use the apk to save webpages for offline reading but the browser has stopped loading pages in speed mode and certain saved web pages are also not opening displaying the unable to open file not found error message. I have tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling the app and even restoring the phone to factory settings after deleting the cache didn't work but the problem persists no matter which version of the app I use. Please let me know the solution to this problem. As far as I know the problem started occurring after I enabled the speed mode at the same time when I was receiving a error message from Gmail stating that it was unable to download the attachment after which it sort of hanked and the speed mode is now not working. The same sort of thing occurred while saving some webpages which led to the rendering of all the webpages of some particular sites being rendered unreadable. Please suggest a solution to this problem. The message I see when I open a particular saved webpage which I am able to save and view in other browsers. Unable to load page err: unable to locate the file.

This app works fine. It does what it was meant to do. It still crashes once in a while (unlike the other one) this one crashes less so that's good. For now though....I hope. It's been four days now and I take back some good things that I said because this app is affecting my phone's performance and it's also a battery draining app on some phones (especially mine).

This used to be a 5 star app. The fix for a pop-up warning downloading video can eat up mobile data is no longer working. It keeps coming back causing to cancel over and over again. It causes lags on my smartphone. Might give it a try in the far, far future. They still need to fix their embedded player to quit nullifing default video player. A real PITA for those of us who like a great quality player over theirs or your native one.

What did you do? Dude, no. This was my go-to app precisely because speed mode ignored most javascript and I could have a clean home page. Now the "lite" setting is completely ignored, and not only can I not have a clean home page (headlines is sticky) with only the links I want, if it gets swiped at all, it takes over and I have to hit back to get the homepage links back; subtle, but really annoying. Now I have to go on the hunt for a new browser that does what UC Mini *used* to do.

Uc mini is the best browser for streaming online videos any day any time but my prblm with it is that in most cases it does not easily resume download when there is a network which forces you to pause the download. It has make me waste so much data on downloads. And it happens most often with large files. Files above 200mb. It is the one things that makes me prefer using opera mini over uc mini because opera has the ability to resume downloads very easily as soon as the network is back.

I'll list your mistakes in last few updates. Hope you look at it and bring back the old UC Mini, which used to be the best browser and was my default browser for last 5 years. 1. The biggest issue with these updates is that you've turned off compression for google and facebook pages ( TRUE SPEED MODE IS GONE). It used to be the unique selling point of the browser. No other browser had that except for uc and now you've removed that feature resulting in pages loading like they do in other browsers, making it no better than opera mini and firefox lite (which are average browsers at most). 2. YouTube now plays directly on the page instead of UC's built in player. This was the second reason after Facebook compression why i used UC Browser. Now i am forced to watch youtube in hq which drains data, the videos also play on the pages itself meaning that i can't use swipe to seek or adjust vol/brightness. 3. Some features in this update are awesome, page hotloading is pretty fast, all browsing bugs are fixed for non compressed pages. File sharing over wi-fi is good too.

So good app. This is very fast browser and image & video downloader app. It downloads songs, images, videos etc. faster in comparison to other browsers. As this is app doesn't have some features useless for me unlike UC Browser, so for me UC Mini is the best web browser & media downloader

Works adequately, but with loads of annoyances and bits of poor interface design that drag its usefulness down. Latest update caused many aggravations and reminded me how the app is littered with bad design decisions that are small individually but add up to a frustrating user experience. I first installed it hoping it would be simple and small. Rooting around in settings has been anything but simple and its data footprint on my device storage has bloated up from ~20mb early on to 140+mb now

But downloaded movies can't be played using other player. Only by the browser built in player. The video file are scattered into folders. UC browser never compress the video parts. It cannot be transfer as well. Too good app so far

Excellent,exactly what is needed for movie download. Perhaps an improvement on when you're asked to check if you are human will respond to your captcha direct will make it better because often times when you click on continue it takes a different direction and you have to struggle to cancel it in order to get what you want you go back and do it carefully otherwise is prone to take you else where you never intended.

The browser is just amazing. Faster than other browsers I've installed. It perfectly workd for my image downloading and it downloads files at super-speed!!! Please install this app. This app, I say, is the best simplest app for browsing. Other apps are good, but try this one, then you'll know the difference.

wish i could give no stars at all. i started using this browser and it brang so many harmful files! i was just clearing my miscellaneous files from settings and there were so many of this browser!anf when i cleared them all my 200+songs and downloaded files dissapeared!! This app is definitely not recommended! horrible expreience !😡😠😤

I've been searching for lite, data saving , fast , easy to work with, ad free, flexable browser and this one covers all of my requirements , you can choose between lots of options , which help you to fill your preferences for the best browsing expirience ! I suggest you to try it and see yourself this one well build browser !

There's no more difference between UC Browser & UC Mini.. You have made this app exactly like the original one and it keeps crashing now. This new update uses more ram and the reason why I downloaded UC Mini in the first place is because it was light, but now it isn't.. And all of my saved pages and downloads been a lost for some reason after this update 😡 please revert it to how it was or at least lose some of the useless features that available on the UC Browser app

Too much ads. Captured lots of storage space. Some pages didn't open and showed error occurred. it's depend on high speed connection to load any pages and web or web links. As well as in this app i stopped highlighted news feed but the news shows automatically within few days why? Otherwise this app is very helpful to browsing. Pls fix this problem.

I have to say a lot..... This effort is really good but you need to improve much more still. Offline pages are still unsaved so this option is useless for us. Whenever we watch any video.... video is playing but it doesn't give download option to save file in sd card. Besides it, we need full version of web pages but you make it mini like the name of uc mini. Please try to solve these issues. Thank you so much for everything ...... I love Uc browser so much......

Speed mode is getting worse, seems slower after every update. Used to work great. The speed mode functionality was the only thing that made me stick to using this browser. But now, it seems that I'm better off using chrome. Please look into this issue and optimize the pages as simple as possible.

I've been using this app for about 3 years now. But let's say that I'm rather dissapointed with the updated version of Uc Mini right now? First of all, the latest update for uc mini was rather different from the original ones to the point it became so slow. What is the point of using Uc Mini then when the speed of loading a page was rather slow? The incognito Browsing's turning on&off and it seems like the interface's rather hard to manage. The older ver was better. Uninstalled it

I really like this browser. It's superbly fast and easy to use. My only problem is when I watch a Film or series there is no any subtitles even though the movie is providing it. It won't show any subtitle option or other setting and shows the browser setting itself so please fix it and make subtitles available. Otherwise it's amazing. >_<
