REQUIREMENTS
Compatible with Android tablet devices running Lollypop 5.0 (Android API Level 21) or later. PreSonus recommends tablet devices with a minimum resolution of 1024x768 and an 8-inch screen size or larger for optimal user experience.
The Android device must be connected to the same wireless network as a StudioLive Series III or AI-series. Studio-series control requires that the iPad be connected to the same wireless network as a computer running Universal Control for macOS and Windows and connected via USB to a Studio 192, Studio 192 Mobile, Studio 1824/1824c, or Studio 1810/1810c.

Amazing product, bad app experience, everything is too small.. Too many knobs in one screen..barely usable with a 10" display... I'd like something like behringer app, few things on the screen, "Fine" function and suitable for any screen size, Presonus, please!!! With a good android app It will be the perfect wireless mixing console!
No longer works with Android device(New& Updated). Does nothing when selecting Scan. Demo works, but the system is an expensive brick because I can't access. Really guys? We bought the because it remotely connects. I wish I read these reviews about app making the system unusable before we purchase. Embarrassing exp in front of congregation. Wow guys.
I'm purchasing the 24R, but I am going to have to scramble for a control device. This application doesn't even fit on my screen. It's like the desktop app is scaled to fit everything on it. There are no pages and it looks nothing like the photos on the store page.
I had my kindle on auto update, so I got the new version. Unfortunately it is not backward compatible with my StudioLive 32 Series III (firmware 1.8.14273). I could not use my Kindle to mix. I got a screen popup that told me to upgrade the firmware on my mixer. Fortunately I had an iPad with an older version. I am sure the new version will be awesome, but having to upgrade UC Surface and the mixer firmware.at the same time is bad form.
The last update have some troubles with the touch function on Android phones. When you select a function, like any EQ parameter, it stays selected even if you don't have the finger in the screen. Please fix that.
5 STARS. . . That's what I would give this app if they would just get the app to connect to either of my presonus boards using my touch screen Gen 1 Samsung Chromebook Plus. The demo appears responsive but the demo isn't my presonus rack or board. PLEASE...PLEASE get connectivity working for the Android app on Chromebooks.
Love it when it works but it constantly crashes. Hope they get it working reliably as it is great being able to move around and control my mixer... P.S. I also have a Bheringer X32 rack mixer and it works perfect with Android.
Cannot install on my phone anymore. It's way more convenient to be able to fix a problem that occurs by pulling my phone out rather than having to make sure that my tablet is next to me at all times. Please update this so that it works on phones again.
Like others are reporting I get an instant UC Surface has stopped message. It used to work so must be a bug in this release. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablet. Update: 6 March, still not working. Terrible support.
If it would be possible on the apps UI, it would be nice to have zoom capability. Presonus makes great hardware, and studio one 5 is decent, but the apple/andriod development team could use some improvements.
Why do you even update this app..And are you even reading and hearing your customers ? Every update same story.We are spending so much money on your products which are good sounding,good quality, good features..But man your workflow and user friendlyness is second to none :) About the app.. the best version that I've used so far is with my Ipad 1gen arround 4 years ago when you rotate the screen and automatically enters in the selected channel ,1 channel full screen mode.
Will not work with any Android device...This bug needs fixed. All firmware with my mixer is up to date and my devices are up to date and It will still not connect.
the best thing about this app is fat channel and sync option bitween uc surface and studiolive , other parameter is not useful, and the app is not user friend, becaus the screen is very small for 5"-8" device , the EQ screens is very small in all device.i have studiolive 32 and midas m32, m32 application is very useful , because the app is user friend, big screen of eq , dynamic , gate , master fader, master output , and the m32 app has very fast responsiv, please chang your app for us.thank you
This app worked really good. But after updating to the latest version it stoped working. I'm getting the message "Unfortunately ucsurface has stopped" at the startup. Please fix this ASAP.
Ugh! Keeps crashing on launch. It use to work great. Wished Presonus would figure it out. I feel I've been left high & dry from Presonus & support keeps closing the help ticket without addressing the issue.
It does not work with s pen anymore, I was able to control faders using s pen on my note 8, without using s pen is hard to use this app on a phone the controls are too small. Please fix.
On the phone is totaly unsusable. Everything is too small. Other brands (Behringer, Soundcraft,...) have usable apps even on small screen.
UC Surface stopped working immediately After i updated the resent UC Surface, 3.1.0.53214, it displayed, unfortunately, the studio one RC has stopped. I will like this bug to be fixe thanks.

Mine is loading and running fine( LG tablet ) However when I set gain for channel and release finger from "knob" it zeros out the channel, the older app my other droid tablet runs flawless.
Seriously! What's going on? I was in a big event and had to use a laptop to operate the presonus studiolive rm 16i, because I can't install this app on my Samsung A51 and neither could I get one to my iPhone XS MAX. I really don't understand how a company as big as Presonus with so many great devices can't get an app to work.
I really want to give this app five stars because of how well I know it can work from past experiences. I used to use this on my iPad. Currently, it is not usuable on my Android 9 pixelbook.
Not working with StudioLive 32S. Says "Please update the firmware of your device to the latest version. Control is limited with the installed firmware" but the device is up to date.
App worked up until automatic update. Starts to open then closes. Great for this to happen right before a show.
Literally can't get a single Presonus app to work. Just bought one of your audio interfaces today and already starting to regret it. This looks like you don't really care about your customers nor your products.
totally ridiculous that not all features work with my s pen. even on my giant note the knobs and faders are small and its irritating that my s pen would not be functional with this app. please fix this!
Not connecting to Studio 192...I see the Studio 192, but it's stuck showing the wheel turning round and round, but doesn't connect, any one at Presonus knows how to solve this?
Totally unusable on Android LG v20 screen. I might be able to see the entire board that is compressed into one small screen if I had a microscope, but the screen is also so dark it might help if you had an option to invert the display colors. Please give an option to expand or scroll the pages, or create a version that will work for an Android smartphone (which I believe Behringer has) that we could use in emergencies. If you could please do that, then that would be Top Notch customer service!
