The new update has made it impossible to log in. All I see is a blank screen. I even tried deleting and reinstalling the app. Still no help
This app can not seem to stay current or open at the first two to three tries. Not user friendly.
EDIT 3/22 It's gotten even worse! With a brand new phone S22 Ultra the whole app won't even open. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It will show the app logo and won't open at all. I can leave the app open for minutes on end and it won't even load the log in screen. Biggest pain just log in with an internet browser. App almost never works. It'll load the log in screen then be unresponsive. No matter what button pressed on the screen it will most likely not respond. Very very annoying.
They updated my my app on March 16th it and since then it has not worked... I will never again allow an app to be automatically updated
Trash. Crashes or won't let you login all the dam time. Seriously beginning to wish I hadn't switched banks

This is only the second time I have used online banking to deposit a check but it couldn't have been easier.
Got a response about the app not working: Our processor is having issues with certain Android phones connecting to our app. The A series phones are not certified so there is no guarantee that they can make sure those work all the time. You should be able to log on using the browser on your phone if you do have that type of phone. Also make sure that you have an up to date operating system, I believe they are not supporting an operating system of Android 7 or under.
It works like any other mobile app which is very good. The mobile deposit function could be better. through my other bank it automatically takes the picture when the check is perfectly on the screen. this one does not it has you take the pic then asks questions so you can verify that it is on screen correctly and if not you can retake it.
Never opens weekly uninstall and reinstall then will fight you even if passwords entered correctly. It's just a horribly interface. The only thing I like is the instant balance button that works maybe 4 days before restarting this whole process. Here we are a month later and nothing has changed initial complaint was 2-22-22 now it's 3-14-22 and nothing has changed it still doesn't work. To hell with ucb I'll be closing my account and moving on
Okay when it actually works, but it hasn't worked in weeks. When opening the app I am greeted with the splash screen, and the app just sits there. Sometimes I am greeted with a plain "An error has occurred" message with nothing else. I have cleared the data and cache on the app, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the app to see if it made any difference, but nothing seems to work. UCB's E-Services dept said no issues on their end. Device is Pixel 3a running Android 11.
Won't let me create an account even though I'm entering 100% correct information.
I like the option of depositing checks from home and use this function several times a month. I have had issues signing on, rejected checks because the check is too similar to a previous check ( I have rental property so my checks are very similar each month), and my photos are rejected for unknown reasons and I end up needing to take them several times. The checks appear in my account quickly and the app is user friendly. I just wish the issues I regularly experience would be resolved.
Apps junk, it's always popping up errors. Doesn't work more often than it does. It's now June 2021. App hadn't seen an update since November it's a trash as the bank itself. Between the app and the ATMs never working I usually can't even check a balance. If this wasn't the only bank where I lived I'd have stayed far away from them.
This app keeps locking up on the login screen. Won't let me in.. and doesn't show a record of my ledger balance to the right of the transaction history like every other banking app does. I know its all just a convenience so not trying to cry about my 1st world problems, but that's my review.
Still a trash app since the last update. It doesn't work on your phone so don't even worry about it. Considering changing banks just so I can get to an app that actually works. For a background see the other review I left.
Love this app! They make sure my account is secure by using a SAC each time I use the app! They have to text, call me or email the security code and that makes me feel safe. When anything happens regarding my account, the bank staff notifies me immediately. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, caring and courteous staff. No wonder the app helps you as much as possible!
App hasnt worked on galaxy phones for over a week. Called UCB and said they were working on it, that was a week ago and still nothing. Hasnt been an update since Oct. of 2021. Please fix this.
Every time I try to open the app it closes before I even get a chance to sign in. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still nothing's changed.
So quick and easy to use.
Love this app. So easy to access and find my bank balance. Love the security of using my fingerprint too. Love that credit and debit charges are subtracted immediately. I always know my true balance.
A lot better than many banking apps I've used in the past. It is easy to navigate and simple. It allows internal transfers which I really enjoy
Buggy, rarely works properly
I have never had so many issues with any app let alone a bank app. In the past 3 months it has made me be overcharged for days before reverting back. I have had popups that say I am unable to login to my bank account because my "login credentials" are wrong when I know for a fact that they are not because the app will close itself down and after the app closes itself I can't login again. I have been with this bank less than 6 months and I will be closing my account.
