Uconnect®

Doesn't work as expected. Doesn't refresh, most tasks after installing fail. Just tested horn and light remote option because I wasn't sure what it did. It didn't do anything. Then about an hour later, the horn started blowing and I needed to press the remote to stop. Delay makes option useless. Vehicle is about 15 feet away from phone. Unless this is app is fixed I will not be renewing subscription

The app is good but it could use some minor improvements. When you send a command to your vehicle it would be nice to get a confirmation that the command was executed instead of just saying it was recived. Also a timer when using the remote start would be nice. Lastly the amount of time ot takes for the vehicle to receive a command is a bit lengthy. I've had remote starts from other companies installed on previous vehicles I've owned and a remote start command was executed much faster.

There are some nice features, but the locate vehicle feature doesn't work. In addition, the latest upgrade resulted in revoking the privileges that re required for the system to work. It took me a while to correct that in that I had not only to set them in the Uconnect app but also the Bluetooth connection. Finally, the biggest problem is that if I am connected to the system via USB when the system shuts down the pairing with the phone along with all my favorites is deleted. I've had the vehicle in the dealership three times and so far no fix has been found.

App works ok sometimes. Lately I've been getting a health report any time I turn the car on. The remote features don't really work every time. The locator function is pretty horrible. It takes forever to update location. My wife has a GM product and their app gives you the option to refresh the map and find the car instantly. This app needs a better update.

It's good. Just wished it had a timer to let you know when the auto start is going to shut off. It's kind of slow connecting sometimes. Could be faster on the connection. Update: It's not working at all. The wifi dongle doesn't work as advertised. Cannot remote start my car any longer. Send 'n Go doesn't work. It's no longer worth the monthly cost. Sad thing is Chrysler has me committed for a few more months with the monthly payment to use the service. Will not be renewing. '15 Chrysler 300c 5.7

For the last 6 years I had Uconnect on my Durango. I knew it include remote unlock, maintenance reports and other things but the most valuable option was the voice to text option. I re-subscribed in January and then suddenly this stopped working. Called Doge and was informed yes it was discontinued and that was that. No notice, no e-mail no line in the weekly maintenance report it was going away. Main feature I purchased it for and a system based on full connectivity did not even inform me. I love my dodge but I wont purchase a system like this in the future.

Worked for about 2 months, has not worked again. Taken my vehicle into dealership multiple times, service and repair won't even try to fix it anymore. Have attempted every listed or suggested way to fix it over last year. Still won't work. Which is really screwed up as they market this as part of all the vehicles additional features. Completely broken. Don't expect the alerts from it ever.

I paid a pretty penny for this service. The 4G adapter has never worked. I'll have to go into a dealer now to find out why. I'll send Dodge the bill. And where is the Send-and-Go in the app? This is useless without the ability to send the address to the car. Not making me want another Chrysler product... Update: send and go, voice to text, and the assist button on the rear view mirror are no longer functional by design. It is no longer worth the cost of the subscription. Took months to get that.

I was happy with app and uconnect service until the 4g adapter thing and some services are no longer available. What good is vehicle locator if stolen....the thief sees that huge box plugged in and pulls it....no vehicle locator. I can't believe with today's technical advances this is the solution. I also haven't been successful using any of the lock, unlock, vehicle start via on the app since. Says it's working but never completes.

The app will kick out biometrics. Then it will not start or lock when you push the button. Very slow lag time on the location. If my vehicle is stolen not being able to see where it's at is very concerning. Think twice before getting this app. I have nothing but problems with it.

Poorly written and overpriced. The remote start doesn't seem to work and the locate vehicle is also a failure, showing my vehicle 60 miles away (at home) instead of where it actually is located. Also the vehicle health check doesn't seem to happen that often. To be honest I had this service before and it was hit or miss, now it's just miss, thankful I paying for it monthly, so this will probably be the first AND LAST month I will pay for this unless performance improves.

Update: Uconnect advised me, T-Mobile elliminated key features. No refunds! App won't start, lock, nothing! After troubleshooting, they said keep it unplugged for 48 hours? I paid way too much money to have a dead app on my phone. If I want to go outside in 5° weather to get line of sight and start my car I wouldn't have paid this money for an app for remote start! The company switched over to T-Mobile which is the shittiest service you can get in Colorado. It's all about saving money. Thieves

I just got my 2022 jeep gladiator willys and I thought this was a cool app to have, but here I am 3 weeks into my new vehicle and I already don't trust this app. It comes and go when it wants and the driver assist gps kicks me out suddenly and don't reconnect. So I got lost twice and still wondering why they offer it for a free trial period with no useful function. At this point I will remove the app from my phone because it's just taking up memory space and invest in a better gps navigation.

Once connected it's great, but I couldn't login all because my phone's clock was set to manual instead of automatic. Once I changed that, it worked great. So very excited to be able to unlock, lock & start my new Gladiator with my phone. Yee-ha! 🤠 😎

Godawful. If this wasn't a free trial, I'd be highly upset. Only thing it does accurately and constantly is remind you that you only have 1/8 of a tank of gas left. Starting the car remotely takes two whole minutes, the data only updates every two days and the tire pressure doesn't even match the car's dash info. Worthless, innacurate app that needs to be shut down. Have been through it with customer service 6x! Don't bother with a canned response, I'll go aftermarket with Drone Mobile. Garbage!

After a month with the car and app, still can't view vehicle data. Not all features work even after deleting and re-downloading the app, but the car is cool though.

Worthless garbage! Voice texting no longer works with mandatory 4g upgrade. No one mentioned that the 5 times I called because the device they sent for 4g never worked. Worthless. All of it. Very disappointed to be stuck with this U(n)connect junk, since I can't download Android auto to use on display. The vehicle is a $50,000 piece of garbage. I now must physically use my phone to text while driving. That's what the customer service tech told me to do, JUST USE MY PHONE....WHILE DRIVING!!

Still dealing with being linked to my old truck(2019) that has been twice removed , but still getting fuel low level messages to my phone notification through the app (Very frustrating 😑)! I spoked with representative cleared my cache , data and uninstalled and re installed the app . Ok for one or two days but comes back. I think the information that I'm getting is good ! if the feature was put back on for the New Gen Rams! Please upgrade the app for all 5th Gens Ram to get that information !

Hasn't worked right since they sent the adapter last year. My car shows up in Uconnect as a truck with dual tires in the back. I'm getting emails that I have a light on and to take it to the dealership, but no light is on. Took it to the dealership and showed them the email, they said to bring it when the light comes on. The app doesn't start my car anymore and I get a vehicle report daily, often multiple times a day. I think I'll end my subscription.

Update: After abandoning the app for the years old issue of not having basic remote features UNLESS you have a Satellite Radio subscription, it won't even connect any longer...period. this was before the update and after the update. Glad my truck is better than.... whatever this is supposed to be.

Updating my review. They seem to have fixed all of the features that weren't working....which was pretty much everything except the lock/unlock buttons...which didn't work all of the time either. I can now track and see the location of my truck, lock and unlock without problems, and I can now see the information screen too, showing mileage and fuel levels! Awesome. My truck is a diesel and doesn't allow remote start or climate adjustment, so I can't say if those have been fixed yet. Thanks!

The only thing this app is good for is sending me constant notifications whenever my fuel is less than 1/8 of a tank. My wife and I both have subscriptions on our respective vehicles. We've both tried remote start a dozen times or more on different occasions from different places. It worked for her once, me never. Send n Go has been useful, but that option appears to have been removed from the app recently, so... thanks for removing the only useful feature.

bring back the old app it worked better, half of the time does not work. Wish the app would work called a few times and it may last for a day or 2 . It's new thing is it tells me it started/locked etc the vehicle which in fact it did nothing. So a year later my thoughts still have not changed. it will not do send and go, most of the time the maps are wrong, all this really started with the 4G thing. Will not renew after my year, this is ridiculous. Remote anything only works once in a while

Had to get the T-Mobile 4G adapter in Dec. 2021 since Sprint was bought out. Got free wifi (2gigs a month) which is fine. But I lost the talk to text feature, very disappointed in that. I used that a ton more than wifi, since I had unlimited data anyway. I also lost access to Sirius traffic, weather and other built in features that I had prior to the switch. Not real happy at the moment. Price is ok. But probably won't renew once my year is up. Give me back everything and I will reconsid

Remote start, lock, unlock ect. thru the app stopped working about a week ago. Called uconnect. Uninstalled/reinstalled app. They remoted in and were able to see my truck but still nothing. I just get "request failed". They say they have a ticket opened...been 24 hours now still nothing. I am paying extra for what? Not happy with app.

Ive purchased multiple new vehicles in the past 5ish years and this is the first time I've HAD TO PAY A SUBSCRIPTION BASED FEE FOR REMOTE ACTIONS AND FEATURES... It's 2022, this tech is NOT NEW. It doesnt even have a widget for common remote functions to make them easily available. Why are we paying a subscription fee for old tech? I WONT BE RENEWING AFTER TRAIL, I actually would have if it had something as simple as a widget

Now the send and go does not work it allows you to search but doesn't give the option to send to vehicle. Had to buy an adapter to put the device they sent and it still doesn't work. Probably will cancel service that was a key feature being able to look up a location while not in the vehicle and when getting in it's already there.

App works well when it works. Hope you never need tech support. The people that answer the phones are great right up to the point when you need "tech support ". I'm done canceled service. Felt great.!

Uconnect is installed in my car 2015 jeep cherokee but they stopped supporting it in my year apparently. So I have no other options or way to get maps on there as their program blocks anything else from being able to run. The only way is to to take out the whole system and install something else so thanks for that expensive fix.

After I fill the tank the Uconnect app tells me I have less than 1/8 of the tank left. And it sends this twice. This happens every time I get out of the vehicle after driving. Annoying. Not sure if I can trust the other information.
