UDP Sender / Receiver
-There are two modes the application can run in, Send / Receive or Receive only. Send / Receive allows you to send UDP datagrams and if selected, to listen for a response based on the timeout you set. Receive only listens indefinitely for UDP packets and outputs the result in the response section.
-Big advantage not found in other UDP applications is that it allows you to specify the local port to bind to. This is useful if you are trying to diagnosis NAT problems (Full Cone Nat, Port Restricted NAT or Symmetric NAT).
-Outputs the sender (destination) IP the datagram was received from. Outputs the sender (destination) port the datagram was received from as well. This is useful to diagnosis NAT problems.
-Gets and displays your local IP by clicking the overflow action item and clicking 'My IP Address'.
-saves the local port, remote ip and remote port to the application's preferences.

Not great. Quite often, tool is unresponsive and we have to kill it to exit.
Doesn't support multicast, UI easily locks up when moving between apps

Great app. Don't works with wifi network without internet connection. Need to add support for wifi network without internet access.
Very clunky app. Half of the screen is obstructed by ads.
Can't resolve URLs so useless for testing full stack.
Number of characters of received message is limited. Increase the limit to 350 characters!
Functional apps
This is the first one out of 5 UDP apps I've tried which sends and receives. Would be nice if line breaks returned could be used. I really want a terminal but this app has let me test and develop my project.
Hello, Congrats for the app, it's helping me testing my network and an application that i'm developping right now. My doubt is, how can you transpass the Moto G wifi multicast filter ? I've tested my app with different phones and it works fine, except in my Moto G because of this problem, but it seems that your app can tranpass this somehow. I would appreciate if you could tell me how you've done this. regards
Tried on both Samsung S5 and Nexus 7. Both ran okay at first but app slows down and hangs after about 100 packets. Would be just what I needed if it worked.
Only allows you to enter an ip address, not a hostname. Otherwise works as described.
This application is very simple which is good, but I am looking for something that does alerting based on the UDP packet that is coming in. To give an example I have a ESP 8266 module in my truck alerting me when my doors are opened. Unfortunately I can't find software that will do you UDP alerts.
The ONLY UDP app I found with hex support, it's amazing, i'd love to see it get some tasker support
Only gets 4 stars as the ui is polluted with an ad bar which really detracts from the app, highly recommended otherwise!

Tried a few apps and this one finally works... UI could be a bit nicer.
Would be even nicer if a received cr+lf created a new line in the display area
great app that definitely receives UDP packets, but the receive window is very small and I can't see how I can copy the text to use it elsewhere. My use case :- I have a Keene Electronics IRAnywhere that can transmit IR codes to a UDP listener. I want to copy the codes and use them in a home automation system.
