UFV Student Tools

An app for students of the University of the Fraser Valley. Currently acts as a glorified exam date look up, but will soon hopefully add features like finding a tutor, keeping track of your grades, and so forth.

This app doesn't collect any data, nor does it require a login of any sort, but in the future may allow for google based login.

This app will constantly be added to, usually at the end of semesters.

Permission Notes:
- Location:
Currently working on a room locator system that uses the google maps API. Parts of this is still built-in to this version, thus it still shows that it needs permission. You location isn't actually used in this build.

- Photo, Media, Files and Storage:
The app has access to reading and writing files, specifically for various checks, such as when you confirm the disclaimer, it writes that to a file so you don't get asked again. Some other stuff I've been working on is so that you could have a .png file saved to somewhere accessible.

Security:
As a reminder, since this app is totally free (no ads or anything) and will remain that way, there is no /moral/ reason to collect any data. Many apps with ads use API's that collect data on you to "improve ad targeting" or as I like to say "make more money". This app doesn't do any of that, does not use any of those API's, and doesn't care who you are, or what your favorite foods are.

What you should always seek from an app, is full transparency about data collection and usage. What I will do for this app specifically is whenever I need some kind of login information, only restrict specific features to login. This way if you don't want to risk it, you can use the other features that don't need it. The app will never require log in to use the app, just some features when necessary.

This app is pretty cool and what's all coming looks awesome! I know it's pretty much the first release, but there are a few courses missing. There's also no ENGR or ENPH in the dropdown
