The software is specific to DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus. It establishes connection between drone and U|g|CS ground station, or can be used as stand alone application.

U|g|CS stands for Universal Ground Control Software. The software is universal because it supports different vehicle and payload manufacturers and provides users with a unified environment for mission planning, execution, monitoring, and the inventory and management of unmanned vehicles. U|g|CS can support multiple vehicles simultaneously.Please not that minimal supported version of desktop UgCS is 2.9 update 1. Use this adapter as a standalone application. Or together with desktop U|g|CS. UgCS for DJI provides communication with DJI drone and allows to acquire video, see the telemetry, transmit commands such as “return to home”, “ reset home position”, “launch mission”.
It allows you to:1. Upload and start mission from U|g|CS desktop application;2. Live video on device;3. Capture photos and video;4. Command the vehicle to Return to home position;5. Reset the home position.

I have problems running on Android 6.0 with a HTC 530 phone. The app starts and I can't click the P2VISION+ icon to proceed further. In the past it worked with my S3 I9300 and 4.4 KitKat. I was about to buy the PC app to use it with P2V (non plus) but was surprized to see that it doesn't work with Android 6.0 for me.
For PS3 Advanced the App can't shoot any faster than DJI Go settings, that is 5seg for JPEG. It can't either use auto for distance or time because the limitation of DJI Go. Remember that is for UgCs only, a lot of others Apps can shoot as fast as an photo in 2seg. If I'm wrong, please let me known. You can set additional WPTs but it's limited in 99 and can't do large areas (more than few acres) and the aircraft stops in all ones, I think it's desirable that the aircraft shoot without stops for battery.
When I get to choose which UAV I'm using, I select Phantom 3 and then I get an error message saying "!RC Connection - Connect mobile device to remote control cable to proceed.". I have done that and it's all powered on. I'm using the nVidia Sheild tablet with Android 6. Any idea what the problem is? I would love to use this app but doesn't work for me yet. I'll change my rating when it starts working.
Another app just for the vision plus, so dammed hard to find an app for the standard vision, sure it links up but you get no video feed, better off getting Litchi or Ultimate Flight
