UK BBC Radio 2
30 September 1967 was the date of the first broadcast of this station. In early years, much programming and music was common to both Radio 1 and Radio 2. Due to budget cuts, in 1975 the broadcasting hours for BBC Radio 2 were reduced. In 1978 the broadcasting hours were extended to the 5 am – 2 am schedule. In 1979 it became the first national 24-hour radio station in the UK. Nowadays, it is estimated that BBC Radio 2 has over 15 million weekly listeners, mainly adults over the age of 35 (82% of listeners).

The most popular radio station in the UK was launched in 1967 when the station evolved from the BBC’s Light Programme.
It now has a regular weekly audience of 15.4 million and broadcasts on FM and DAB. It’s available on the internet as well as through TV providers and has broadcast continuously since early 1979.
Like all BBC stations, Radio 2 is publicly funded by the licence fee and doesn’t have any advertisements. It has a broad playlist that ranges mainly from the 1960s to the present day and it also features current affairs items. Around 80% of listeners are aged over 35 although the station has started to attract a younger audience.

A very good app for listening while out and about. Not sure if it crashes often, or whether it stops because of loss of 4g in some areas.
It's good apart from the occasional silence for about 5 seconds every few minutes! Annoying and frustrating.
Works for about 10 minutes then turns itself off. Very annoying when you've just started doing something.
I love this App, so convenient to have my favourite station with me on the go. Have no problems with it and love the fact I can tune in anywhere any time

Crashes all the time, pretty useless! All other stations doesn't!
doesn't show record thats playing like other stations. to much adverts. as a licence payer didn't expect these.
Thought BBC did not have advertisements. But these add as are interfering and hamper the experience.
Cuts out too much and have to reboot app. Otherwise it's good.
Love using it when I am out walking, especially on a Saturday between 1om-3pm when Pick of the Pops is playing.

Apalling, all i et is a message saying radio 2 is not available.
Wont open, cleared cache, uninstalled reinstalled, nowt, 1 day later still not available.
