Great app, very usefull for touring, worth paying for upgraded map as same detail as road atlas, except no ripped or missing pages , needs position marker to be bigger and clearer, and no way to save, export or import bookmarks. Thats the only reason for four stars, otherwise brilliantly simple
A great app that does what it says in the tin. Well worth the small upgrade fee. The only thing stopping me giving 5 starts, is that while Ordnance Survey update the 1:250k map every year, it hasn't been updated in the app for some time.
Used this app for a few years without issue. However, after reinstalling the app, for some reason I can no longer download the maps
OK if you want a very, very basic A road map but as far as any detail goes it is going to cost you.!
No real zoom! Paid for 'detailed' map but it was rubbish! Couldn't zoom to any real detail.
The app does need fixing as crashes everytime I try to download the basic map.
Used to use this ok but now when you go to download the basic map it just crashes so uninstalled it.
i bought the premium map because i assumed it had byways on, it doesn't, but its work in an emergency i guess
Paid for maps and now g can't download basic maps whats up
it is a worst app ever i see because it takes my 2gb data in dowloding maps only in discription it is written that it is offline
looking for byways/green lanes but this app does not have that feature.
Doesn't zoom properly, so gave up and deleted
I want to try before I buy, but there is no option so I shall not bother, thanks for the other reviews.
Great little app that does just what I wanted! It replaces my road atlas & works without having to go online. Shame its got some bad reviews but I think that's down to a misconception of what the app is for. Does me a treat. :-)
There is more information about using the app in Google play than in the app itself, it is messy to use, what is the point of a search option that needs a download to work the first time? Most people will download the app to use offline only to find that it needs another download to use the search option. Then if you want more details it's another download, a paid one at that, no thanks, uninstalling as I can get more information on paper cheaper...
When it said zoom it is no better than using normal zoom. The legend is not zoomable. The distances are not easy to work out.
Scale and detail is very poor, pretty worthless even after paid download. Not recommended.
A great app that gives me a road atlas whenever I need one. I can't remember if I bought an upgrade but the apps just fine as it is.
A waste of money. I thought ordance survey maps showed small details e.g.country lanes, bridle paths, foot paths etc. Lacks all these and more.
Handy for quick reference - would be 5 stars if only indicated payment required to get the road atlas, not just the free bsse map!
DO NOT BUY THE UPGRADE - complete waste of money. Does not show any detail what so ever.
Works with GPS and shows your position on the map and is zoomable, indexed and searchable. I purchased the higher resolution map which shows most places but I would gladly pay double for an extra level of detail/zoom.
This offers the OS road map for the UK and even the free low-detail version is perfectly good for planning a route on the major roads and motorways. It does not claim to show full details like you get on the OS landranger or explorer maps. If I decide it's worth paying for the more detailed road maps I will return to update this review at a later date. But for now it's perfect for what I intend to use it for.
The app works well but the position circle the overlays the map is far too big. It's impossible to see exactly where you are. Can this be made smaller or turned into a simple arrow?
Very very rabies (-2 star) don't west time
BRILLIANT it's a Road Atlas! .... with at u r here dot! Best of all worlds .... Perfect.

I have seen more detailed versions that are free.
A great replacement for a standard UK road alas. It's not Google Earth quality, but that's because it's not supposed to be! For a free, general A-road and motorway scale alas, it's perfect. It did request to download the main map after I had already installed and opened it (the actual map itself is what it needed to download (geeze... file or something)), which was not a problem. But, it means you should open it fully after downloading if you're intending to use it offline and without Internet.
