This application was designed to take your overtime and pension contribution into account and to support Student Loan Plan 1 and 2.

It's certainly a useful app but an ad-free experience is much too expensive at £3. Charge £1 or so and I'd be right in there. Comes across as greedy. Other apps that charge as much as that have content that makes it worth it. This is too simple an app to have so many intrusive ads and such an expensive ad-free experience.
Would have given five stars but you can't add part-time job so salary is calculated correctly taking into account both. You can second job but essentially it doesn't relate to first for tax purposes.
App is unusable, plays advert then gets stuck. Hit x multiple times to close ad after it's played but advert stays up.
A constant ad is taking up 1/3 of my screen and suggestion popups keep blocking my keyboard, and they are many! Also, material v2 redesign is just horrible. I set my dpi high just to have MORE stuff on my screen and this app fits like 4 sections, each opening on almost the entire screen (keep in mind that 1/3 of the screen ad). It was nice while it lasted, but now it looks like a cash grab.
Well made, comprehensive tax calculator with options. Easy five stars. A small tip to the Developers. When doing calculations, please do not reset mode for results if my query mode changes. Example: trying to evaluate the effect of the pay raise on my monthly take home pay: switch query to Y (annual), result also auto-switches from M to Y, even if I wanna see effect on monthly pay. Keep up the good work!
Super helpful, great little app..... Very simple and functional; and its paid pro version is even better: no more adds, no limit on the number of salaries it can save: allows to combine multiple 'saves' calculating your 'household' income. Tax, national insurance deductions, take home pay its all calculated FOR YOU saves time; not that said maths is too difficult: just long. Breaksdown 'saves' into categories: annual down to hourly it calculates the rates. Quick and easy to see it, at a glance.
Update-Fixed Always used this app as I think it is the best Salary calculator available. However since the latest update, the pension percentage no longer works correctly. You type in 6% for example and it deducts 4.95%????? Very strange bug. You have to amend your percentage to match what you actual have deducted. Mine is set to 7.3% even though I actually have 6% deducted from my pay. It is very annoying. Also another option to deduct extras such as a union deduction after tax would be great.
Updated: originally gave the app 3 stars. However they have since calculated the bonus separately and improved the app greatly. A great salary app, well designed with a big UX. Able to store salaries and deal with % bonuses. Excellent app.
App does what it says on the tin! New visuals which make for a nicer viewing experience! 5* customer service from the app developer who got in touch with me rapidly and looked to help me with fixing a bug.
This needs to add the total outgoings together, I don't want to open another app to use the calculator, also when I save I want it to save the monthly amount not annual, but a great app all the same, let's get it 5 stars.
A really useful app! Have found it really helpful when calculating whether it would be affordable to reduce my hours of work and go part-time.

App was very useful and used it loads over last few years. Update happened and useless now. You can't enter Taxcode only gives you limited options so useless. Having to delete and look for alternative

It's a good straight forward, and easy to use App. Ads can be/are quite annoying but what do you expect for free... They've got to get money from somewhere or other.
Seems ok, I'd rate it higher if you could add a numerical pension value rather than a percentage because it would make calculating my monthly finances easier as they change every month and my pension is a constant figure. PAYE tax calculator is better in this respect but it seems to be out of support.
Fantastic App, well worth paying for pro. The most accurate calculation I've found for my actual take home after tax and student loan etc. also the pay rise calculator is so useful and has genuinely helped me make decisions as to what to ask for in salary discussions and when negotiating salary with a new company. Couldn't recommend them enough
The actual app is good, but the ads blare music out at you before you can view the calculations every single time so it became quite irritating to use so I removed it to use another less intrusive app for free
Really easy to use and accurate. Especially like the raise calculator. Hopefully it keeps up to date with rate changes.

Great App however sometimes crashes and freezes my phone. Phone ends up restarting itself ( I have a S21 Ultra ). Will add the Star if a get a week and no crashes.
This was a very useful app until your latest update. Why suddenly do you have to watch ads before you can add things like overtime or pensions to your salary? Also you only get 1min of use before having to watch another ad. Sorry you have just broken what was a very functional app
Great App, simple intuitive interface. Minor bugs preventing use of decimal point when adding bonus values, Samsung keyboard on tab sg 256gb, otherwise flawless

This is really clear and easy to understand with the easy to navigate layout. The calculations are so easy to use, whether you get paid by the hour or are salaried, it's easy to see what your pay and potential pay increases will effect your net pay and deductions. This is just amazing.
