Do you get paid in cash and worry that someone can rob you of your money? Do you have customers that sometimes don’t have cash on them so can’t pay you? Do people ask you if you take credit card payments but you don’t? Do you have a bank account but feel the monthly fees are too high? Do you need to easily send money to friends and family across the country? Do you need to pay people who don’t have a bank account and you don’t carry cash? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then uKheshe is perfect for you!

uKheshe is a service you can access from USSD or your Smartphone that lets you do all of these things. Every uKheshe user gets an uKheshe card number that acts as their own electronic wallet and allows you to keep your money safe and secure and access it when you need. If you need cash from your wallet, then you can withdraw from any Pick ‘n Pay nationwide. You can also use uKheshe for buying airtime, data, lotto and more. Every uKheshe card number can be used to accept payments from people who have a bank account or also have uKheshe. They can use any masterpass enabled App like the Capitec Masterpass App, FNB banking App, Zapper or uKheshe’s own App to scan or enter your card number and select an amount to pay you. You can also get a physical uKheshe card with the 3D barcode of your number that makes it quicker for people to scan and pay. To order a physical card, please go to our website ukheshe.co.za

uKheshe also helps you make money. If you refer people to uKheshe and they sign up and use the service and pay their monthly fee then you get R1 of their fee into your uKheshe wallet every month. So sign up lots of people and help them use uKheshe and you can be one of many people earning extra money every month.

uKheshe has two types of wallet. uKheshe Standard and uKheshe Life. Standard costs R5 per month and is deducted from your uKheshe balance on the first of the month. If you have no balance then nothing is charged and you don’t go negative. uKheshe Life costs R60 per month and comes with benefits like emergency medical cover, R5000 funeral cover and accidental life cover of R100 000.

uKheshe does not charge to your mobile airtime and is not related to your phone network or any bank. Some transactions like cash withdrawals have fees but are lower than most banks. All transaction fees are covered on our website. uKheshe is a registered financial services provider and is a company you can trust. We are proudly South African.

This app is really frustrating. I got someone to do a transfer from a nedbank account into my wallet. It was supposed to be instant. No, I had to call and WhatsApp the help desk the whole day. It took 2 days to get the balance to reflect. When it did reflect, I try to transact, it tells me I have insufficient funds to transact, yet I have not done a single transaction at all. It shows a current balance figure, but zero available balance. I WhatsApp the help centre, no response!!

Whoever developed this app made a dumb move (I'm actually cussing in my head) by making the selfie function compulsory. Some of us aren't photogenic and thus taking a specific photo is a mission and a half for us. Now I'm unable to verify my identity and withdraw my money because of a stupid pic. 😤 😡😠
