Every uKheshe card number can be used to accept payments from people who have a bank account or also have uKheshe. They can use any masterpass enabled App like the Capitec Masterpass App, FNB banking App, Zapper or uKheshe’s own App to scan or enter your card number and select an amount to pay you. uKheshe also helps you make money. If you refer people to uKheshe and they sign up and use the service and pay their monthly fee then you get R1 of their fee into your uKheshe wallet every month. uKheshe has two types of wallet. uKheshe Standard and uKheshe Life. Standard costs R5 per month and is deducted from your uKheshe balance on the first of the month. If you have no balance then nothing is charged and you don’t go negative. uKheshe Life costs R60 per month and comes with benefits like emergency medical cover, R5000 funeral cover and accidental life cover of R100 000.

uKheshe does not charge to your mobile airtime and is not related to your phone network or any bank. Some transactions like cash withdrawals have fees but are lower than most banks.
