Oh lordy! My library only permits use of audio books from this app and there are about 10 to choose from! Seriously though, there isn't a great deal, everything I've ever searched comes back with a big fat NO, certain genres are empty , the volume isn't great, it doesn't tell you how much time is left in the book and I can only stop/play/pause by opening up the app whereas all other audio apps I've used just let me flick off and on withy headphones.

Despite the various tweaks, audiobooks are still staying on my device when they have been returned. I have to delete either the App or data to create space. This doesn't happen with the Libby Overdrive App! Another issue is the 'freezing' of the audio at intermittent intervals. On a positive note, the selection of audiobooks is great, and listening can become addictive.

Pulling hair out app!! Fed up with uninstall and reinstall to open audiobooks, then try and remember what chapter I'm on. Very poor indeed. Every time I open it I anticipate it buffering and not loading, and it's quite regular in doing so. It's ability not to work is far greater than it actually working. Come on Ulvercroft, you must at some point whilst twiddling fingers read the ratings. We're in the 21st century, get it fixed or terminate it. Shocking and very disappointing app.

This app is only ok if you are prepared to be patient and spend time coaxing it to work. I found it was just about ok until I was on my third book. Then when trying to resume listening, "Please wait" and the circle went on for ever. After several attempts on different days, and several phone restarts, the only way I got it working again was to uninstall and reinstall. It then had to download the book again. By then it had lost my place, and I had to find it again. So you need to make a note of your place each time you stop listening.

Latest update is a disaster. No longer downloading to my phone, rendering the App useless. It used to be 4 stars! Now mid August & still dreadful. Books not downloading despite selecting automatic download in settings. Now use Libby almost exclusively & it's excellent.

I love the book selection and I listened through my library access, however recently I have had problems with book stopping and I'm unable to put a bookmark in, the only way I could make any progress in was to exit my library acess and the put my library car detaila in again and re-start. Now it won't let me access any books at all and says and error E93 has occurred. Please can someone sort this out. You have a great product with lousy delivery!

Really basic user experience, for audiobooks it's missing things I would consider standard: chapter length in the chapter list, time left in book, the ability to create a reading list. It's great to be able to borrow books but the app needs improving.

App fails to respond to Bluetooth play and pause. Also, it would appear to drain the phone's battery rapidly. Use with caution. Developer seems unwilling or unable to correct problems within realistic timescale.

Love it, never had a problem til today, pressed play and it started downloading the book even though I'm a good way through, now gone very slow, will have to find where I left it last night. Its a good app though, great selection of books.

The app is fine when listening via headphones, but is unusable when connected to a car and using Google maps for satnav. Any spoken instruction from Maps pauses the audiobook (correctly) but it doesn't resume afterwards - so useless as a travel companion.

Have listened to so many great books on the U/ill library, absolutely wonderful for insomniacs, always an avid reader for roughly 73 years eyes do get tired had previously brought tapes and cds usually from charity shops they were the only places that appeared to have them at a reasonable price. My absolute delight when I saw my local library had talking on theirshelves then talking books on line even better,so for me its a great big thank doreen

Was going good for several books but now crashes my phone, cannot use app at all now. When started crashing I could eventually get the book going again after several times but have given up now. I am going to delete app and try downloading it again but if that does not work I guess will not be able to use, pity as my library is big user.

Gets stuck in a "Please wait..." screen when I try playing an audiobook that had been fine for many hours already. Restarting phone didn't help. Reinstalling app and redownloading book might, but that's very poor.

When it works it's great.. but I keep experiencing loss of book..no apparent reason..just stops try to reload and that doesn't happen. Also loading is adhoc some days really quick others not.?. My way round it all is to uninstall the app and install again..not ideal...

cannot browse by category. you have search only. so either you know exactly what you want, or you do a search in the hope of hittin the right thing. the joy of a library is browsing shelves to discovet new things to read. impossible without a browse function.

I cannot give this app more stars. It is still full of glitches. I am currently waiting for an audio book to load despite resetting the app, my phone and my internet settings.

Constantly glitchy, poor userface - very poor compared to Borrow Box. So frustrating.

Terrible. Excessive battery use, half the time won't even load, then books either don't play or stop playing and reset to the start. Very unstable and unreliable.

Useful app to borrow ebooks. The books selection and catalog is excellent. But often problems with downloading borrowed audiobook titles. Practically impossible to use sometimes.

Why do I have to keep uninstalling and reinstall the app. It freezes regularly and goes onto please wait for hours. Very frustrating and if my Library is actually paying for this service it is wasting its money.

A complete failure in need of serious patching. Crashes immediately when an audiobook is selected to play. I'm running Android 9.
