The cheque deposit feature is too quick to capture correctly so it takes several attempts to do it. Just needs slowed down to allow you time to line it up properly. Also if you cancel to try again as you know it's not lined up it takes photograph even quicker. Sort it!
Can't access the app. I've updated the new version. So poor. I've lost my phone and bank card. Can't call the bank or access my account on line as I've no card for the card reader and can't get a text. Very disappointed and worried my card is being used as I've lost it. Keep getting service issues message on the app, not very customer friendly when you have no card or phone
Has improved massively over last number of years, (I'm not keen on major changes to apps - I get used to them & never that impressed - the different look rarely seem necessary). They're done overnight or Sunday mostly now thankfully.
Edited 13/04/22 Reduced to 1 star. App is now unusable. Continually seeing the "something went wrong" screen even after fresh install. 12/02/21 The app was perfectly adequate before the recent updated. Sadly I find the new animation really distracting when trying to log in. Have the developers considered the needs of differently abled or neuro atypical users in their design choices ?
Runs smoothly. Clear display, easy to navigate and offers good services. Much easier and better than another banking app I have to use.
After last update keeps on crashing. Cant even get on to it. Every time i go to transfare the app stops.
The app works well, it's easy to use and has all the features I'd expect. 4 stars and not 5 because the credit score is extremely low compared to the result I see in Experian, in fact it seems from the recommendations to be a feature designed to upsell credit cards.
One of the main reasons why I use Ulster Bank is because of the great app! It is so easy to use and you can do all your banking on it. Everything from getting money from an ATM (if you've forgotten your card), paying international and national payees, managing direct debits and cashing checks. It's a great service from the bank and one I now can't do without!
Just great. Takes a lot of time out of queueing and I have mobility issues. And once you get the hang of depositing a cheque it's brilliant.
I have a very nice experience of banking with Ulster Bank NI, QUB Branch. The app made transection easy, flexible and ensuring 24/7 banking. Sigle debit card covers a lots of banking services and have the facility to use any bank's ATM and wide range of stores for paygo and electronic purchase.
I'm having to delete and download this app because the password stopped working. Customer services advise delete and re- download. Not very reassuring
Absolute rubbish, worked for years now it doesn't. Anytime I want to log in I get a "service status" page that won't let me log on. I have to delete and reinstall the app, go through absolutely every security question etc... every time I want to use it!! Absolute 💩 sort it out please Ulster Bank! 🙄🙄
Brilliant app could not manage without it. I have a disability and it helps me manage my finances from home no problem. 😊

Four times while trying to lodge a cheque i was logged out for no reason. I had to lg back each time to tty again. Very frustrating
Great app. Hoping that at some stage in the future you can make partial payments to a loan rather than do it through anytime banking which is a pain most of the time.
This app is easy enough to use for ages of all ranges. Adverts are a bit annoying and lately their has been alot of updates which is more frustrating coz you have to wait hours to get online properly again. You just want to get on with your banking. J
Useless app for northern Ireland 🇬🇧. As it states I'm not on the electoral register system therefore not giving a valid score

Doesn't worked after latest update. Keeps redirecting to status page! Disappointed!
Firstly the app is great. However, the new animations are absolutely horrible, distracting and just plain ugly. Frankly, this update is a big step backwards from its predecessor - visually. Design changes should be as big a priority as functionality changes - if users are unimpressed by an app - it reflects poorly on not just the app itself.. Functionality is 100%, but please revert to the old, more professional looking, screen! 3 stars until the old screen is reinstated.

Too many clicks to log out. Want to log out in one click no matter which screen, surely no need to confirm log out?
Love this app, so handy and easy to use. Saves me money paying for fuel, or buses, having to go to the bank or post office, take ur thumbs off ur buttons, click on this app and good to go. It's that easy even I can use it. Happydays.
Very disappointed lately when I open the app, nothing shows up and looks like its loading bit nothing appears for weeks. Last few times I try it shows this service status message, but I have the latest update, Internet connection is fine, I closed and opened the app countless times but nothing changes.
