Rubbish. Finds printer ok on first print. When the connection is lost it seems impossible to find it again. Why hasn't this been improved? The app is still in version 1.1 and clearly the system needs improving. Ultimaker printers are not cheap so features like this need to work!
Great app for getting notifications when a print is done. That said I wish I didnt have to be on the same wifi network as the printer to be able to use the camera feature. That way I could view the process of my work from home.
useless for Ultimaker 2. can't do anything with the app if you don't have a wifi enabled printer. I was so excited when I saw the app because it said I could do slicing on my phone, but sadly no such luck. uninstalling immediately. needs better usability.
Works fine the first time you switch the printer on but if you disconnect from that network and reconnect it doesn't find the printer again until it's had a power cycle. All but useless having this app
Does not connect to printer anymore. And even when it did the camera never showed live stream.... Great potential. But abysmal performance of the app. Hope they fix and update
I had the same problem with the disconnect problem and i thought it was something i was doing! Glad to hear its not me and im looking forward to it being fixed. otherwise it was great!
Connected to the printer once only. Following attempts to connect failed. This app is rubbish. If i could I would give it a negative mark just because of the cost of the printer.
App would be great, but doesnt connect to printer, and a regular livestream would be highly appreciated, not just "in the same Wifi
App doesn't work consistently connects to my Ultimaker 3 but after closing app and reopening app it will list printer but shows nothing on the print job
The app worked the first time I used it, now I just get a blank screen. A very professional 3D printer let down by poor software

Wanted a mobile version of the desktop app. Wouldn't know what this app does, my printer doesn't have WiFi
It says: "This app can only connect to 3D printers in your local area network." As opposed to the description How come ?????
Unreliable. Doesn't find printer when it's IP change.
Connects one time then it will not connect after that when I really need to see what is going on.
Ultimaker makes a great printer. Sadley though, this app detracts from their reputation.

Yikes, lots of issues here. Once you start the print the app usually works (looks like it's just loading a simple browser window inside the app tbh.) Once you disconnect or switch between printer, settings or analytics it losses connection and becomes useless. Also camera is super laggy, maybe 1-2 fps in app but on web you can get live view just fine. Good first start but I expected a lot more from Ultimaker.
