Love this app, really fast and works pretty well for an addon...BUT I have been billed twice for it! BE WARNED - I was billed for what appears to be 2 versions. A pro version. An unlimited version. No idea what the difference is, and at £1.69 it feels petty to complain, but you need to get this sorted and explain clearly why I need two versions of this for my watch
I want my money back TWICE. I thought I payed once but just in case, (like an idiot), I uninstalled then went through the process again, installed and even paid again. Everything went smoothly then when I went to use it, I got "free trial expired, you can purchase, blah, blah, blah" I want my money back. Or...... I'd prefer if you'd just fix it.
Great app, one suggestion. Is it possible to add a feature where you can set the assistants speech recognition to turn on when you leave home and off when you return? For example to turn on with android auto, bluetooth or wifi state change!
installed on smart watch and phone... then paid for the phone... and didn't realize they are separate.. and work separate. After leaving a neg review I was QUICKLY offered an explanation and a contact email for a refund... and so I decided to keep both paid versions on cell Note 20 ultra and my galaxy 4 smart watch. THANK YOU!!! I really like having ALEXA at the ready when I am away from the 2 echo devices around the house... THANK YOU!!!
So far so good. I was using an Alexa App on my Samsung Active 2 but just recieved my Watch 4 and this wzs already there to setup. I use Alexa throughout my whole house, turning On & Off lights controling my Fire TV's and Fire Stcks, this App works awesome and i love that i can add it to the main screen on my watch, so i can just swipe left and its right there for me to access it.
I love this app. It works great on my Galaxy Watch 4 and I have it programmed to start with a double press on my power key. Who needs Google assistant on my watch when I have this. It controls my Smart bulbs and answers any question you can think of. I highly recommend this app.
I've been having the same connectivity problems many others have been having, and I think I now know why. I've been doing a lot of experimenting to try to prove it. It's not a consistent problem, but here's the gist: When my phone is using wifi, everything works fine, but if I get in my car or for any reason at all, the wifi connection goes down, it kicks the bluetooth connection between the phone and the watch, off! I don't know if this is related to WearOS or Ultimate Alexa, (and I can find out by uninstalling Ultimate Alexa, but haven't tried that yet) ... and it's not 100% consistent, but that is the ONLY time I ever lose the connection. Here's an additional way to prove it: Go to your watches settings->connectivity->bluetooth, and make sure it's showing a good connection to your phone, and then go to your phone's settings, and turn off wifi. suddenly bam! your watch lost the bluetooth connection, (and while it seems Ultimate Alexa isn't at fault, since UA /is/ one of the running bluetooth devices, it may have injected something into the bluetooth stack to cause it to drop) (I'll still give it a 5-star rating, because I can't prove it's UA's fault until I run further tests)... Forgot to mention, I'm using a Moto G Power, and a Garrett Fossil Gen5 watch.
It does what it says it does. I wanted to control the outlets that I use Alexa for but on my Galaxy 4 watch. It does. Easy setup, easy to use.
I just want a simple app that is free that I can give commands on my watch to turn on my lights and electronics without pulling out my phone. I don't need an elaborate assistant. The old app I used to use doesn't seem to work anymore so I wanted to try this one. It was working great until I learned it was only a free trial version and now it's expired after a few days. You should have a basic version thats free for basic commands,, and then a premium one that you can pay for.
I was thinking about purchasing the ad free version but it's an in app purchase so I cannot add it to my family plan. How disappointing. Also my keyword is hey Alexa, but it barely works. So I turned up the sensitivity and it turns on when I yawn. I've tried many settings. I won't be purchasing the paid version until both of these things are fixed.
Worked great until they tell you that your free trial is up. Wish they made a free version w ads, if they must.
paid for this app twice. It charged me once for the Standalone app just for my watch and then charged me again to have it on my phone. it would be beneficial if there was an option to permanently keep this running in the background I've noticed that if I clear all running apps from my phone this constantly goes away I would like to keep it up at all times so that it's always listening for the Alexa wake word I don't think that's hard to ask when you get charged for a program twice
Spotty performance at best. Slow and laggy response times but worst of all you need to jump through loads of hoops to get it registered with Amazon and give it permission to access and collect all your personal data only to find out you have just a 7 day free trial before having to pay for it. Totally unacceptable. I have deleted it and will make sure that this developer gets nothing else onto my phone or watch. Stick with Bixby. It's far better.
Very easy, user friendly application. I really enjoy being able to use my watch as well with the application.
This watch version works for me just like my Echo devices. I can use it to turn on and off smart plugs and devices, send IFTTT triggers to open apps and websites on my computer and to control X10 plugs and wall switches, ask questions and get answers, get AcuRite information, get other weather info, set my thermostat to heat or AC and check its temperature, unlock doors, open my garage door, and more! Also, I purchased the watch version, had to reset my Galaxy4 watch, didn't get the app back from the backup, downloaded it again from my stored apps, and it remembered that it had already been purchased. Why Alexa didn't have this service available in the first place is beyond me, but the one-time purchase of the app is better (and cheaper) than the subscription Alexa probably would have charged! I have its icon at the top of my watch apps.
Exactly what I was looking for. Not disappointed at all I was looking for something that can read Kindle books for me The voice is so natural Loving it
It's a very good and usable app but just that the main alexa app is not available in my country, but still the ultimate alexa is trying, even though it doesn't understand me sometime when I command for something, but I love the app still
Great app in conjunction with Alexa app. It's like having an Alexa bridge where one may not be accessable. eg. an Echo, or a Dot. I Would like to see more features like adding certain skills ect. Maybe I just need to get to know the app a little better, and will ask around to see if anyone else experience the same things i have before i can make that assumption.
Controls all my lights. Will not play Amazon Music, and will not show doorbell camera or control the fire tv. Text on visuals (like shopping list) needs to be larger to see from far away like echo show does. Overall, happy to have voice control in this room without having to buy an echo, and it will be nice to have a wake-word enabled Alexa with me on my tablet when i travel. I will definately be downloading this app on my smartwatch too if its available.
App does not stay resident and must be launched manually. If it does stay active in the background it pops up at the oddest times for no reason then responds with that it does not have a response. So far I found no real advantage to this app. Even turning off the back button to close setting does not stop it from closing.
All that happens is when I press on the start button is a loop! Along with the loop I get all adverts! Total rubbish!! I would Advise not to download this app! Here's the kicker, I can't even open the adverts! I don't where you are located, but I am live in Canada, and we get apps like yours, we automatically delete the listing!!!!
If you want Echo Show style visuals on your Android device, then this app is for you. Otherwise, the Amazon Alexa app can do just about everything else. I was looking for a way to enable Alexa voice commands from my phone, while driving, especially while using my Android Auto app. While this app does allow to do that, enabling the Alexa wake word disables the Google Assistant wake phrase (OK Google), which I still need when using Android Auto. So I still cannot use them both.
I love this app so far. it has an amazing selection of activities and is as good as a full-time best friend. I can still see there are some technical bugs that need to be addressed but that is to be expected from such a complicated and versatile application. I have ordered a third generation echo from amazon and a smart plug and I can't wait to get the echo dot so I can see what full potential is in store. unfortunately I have to wait until March 6th to get my echo... not out yet
Paid the $1.99 for pro because it gave the impression you can control music with it.... it does not!
Wouldn't touch this app. Purchased yesterday and has been a nightmare. Voice either triggers for no reason or when you adjust that setting it either doesn't work or takes 3-4 times to say Alexa to work. I defo avoid this app and save your money. Look elsewhere folks. Update: Tried suggested steps from developer. However issue presists. Removed app...
Charged my credit card, but it is not allowing me access! Did not work for my Galaxy Watch 4. Annoying. Also, does not really allow you to make phone calls/text unless you install another paid app, which doesn't often work anyway. Bummer. Can I get my money back? Two bucks isn't bad for partial functionality, but no functionally and taking my money isn't right.
Total waste of time I paid for the unlimited access and on my Galaxy watch 4 it just keeps saying it cannot connect with Alexa and that my watch is offline when it's not and works perfectly with everything else, if I reboot my watch and my phone it'll connect and work one time until you launch it again it's same error again every time it's worthless. The Alexa app for the Galaxy watch 1 thru 3 for tizen is free and works perfectly Everytime on my other watches this app is garbage for $1.99.
Worked OK in free trial, but after great difficulty actually paying, doesn't connect, and if it does it is still in trial mode asking to pay. Seems to be very common problem with this software. It is a shame because when it was in trial mode it actually worked. Update - Tried again, now been charged twice and still can't use, still asking for payment. UPDATE - appears to be working now, hopefully not another trial.
