Ultimate Backgammon: Classic Dice & Board Game

Entertaining, but needs work. Dice rolls need to be more statistically accurate. There are way to many doubles rolled and I just saw the AI roll a 1-3 comb four times in a row. The code to report the number of wins in each area is inconsistent. I've won 3 or 4 games in a row and it doesn't change. Then it will jump 2 or 3 games as if to try and fix the inaccurate count. The displays are beautiful. I just wish the logic was closer to real life.

I like the gameplay, and the fact that i can play a classic game. However, there is a bug that has been bothering me. When I started playing, I had been able to rank up to level 13, and unlocked the backgammon boards up to that point. I then linked it to my Facebook account and went back to level 1. Since then, I have been unable to attain a level past three before being reset to 1, and forced to start from the beginning. Correcting this bug would help me enjoy my game play more.

This is a very well done game and enjoyable to play. It would be perfect if the game had an option to display the board flat and and take up as much of the screen as possible, and to remove the sparkles that obscure the dice on some of the games when it's my turn. UPDATE: The ads have become unbearable at 30 seconds each with no escape, and some ads open Google Play on its own which is totally unacceptable. App will be deleted.

does not have 1 touch move. cannot move checkers multiple spots at a time, have to land on each point as you go, making doubles annoying. unnecessary animations slow down the game. move from right to left bottom to top. cannot adjust any of these in settings. waste of time. this simply cannot compete with others. I understand low budget but also has to be playable and it is not. I also rolled a lot of doubles.

Doesn't count my progress, stuck on level zero, playing games does not unlock anything. No option to play from the other side of the table or automatic moves when you don't have a choice. Everything is taps, no dragging. Only one die at a time, so four taps on the same piece to move it the full amount. I play a LOT of backgammon games and this onene needs some work.

I would really love this game if the dice algorithms weren't stacked against the player. When I leave a man open the dice seem to roll just right to hit it & then rolls the wrong numbers needed to get back in. Also when bearing off the dice roll doubles up to three times in a row giving the win to the computer. Game is not fun when the odds are stacked against you. Also level data can not be transferred to a new device. my effort to get to level 43 is wasted!!!! I will not start over.

Downloaded this because their Ultimate Cribbage game is quite good. While this game plays nicely, it has some massive bugs. Sometimes it will erase your progress in leveling up or advancing to new locales. Doubling does nothing of any purpose. Some daily challenges don't work (like rolling 20 5s, none of the 5s you roll get registered). Unlike Ultimate Cribbage, there's no real goal or reason to keep playing. And it seems like this project is abandoned. Too bad.

As soon as you have the advantage the game freezes or sends you back to level one, when you send the opponent checker back to home it almost always sends you back & the blocks you from be able to get yours out, the morel you send back the more it blocks you to the point you can't get yours out until they have almost all there's in. Dont waste your time emailing support they dont respond. I've sent three now , 1 in April & 2 in the last month.

ZERO STARS! First thing you should know with this app is you are only playing against a Bot. Second, you will ALWAYS WIN cuz the bot never tries to win!! The bot will almost NEVER hit your open checkers, so you are able to set them however you like. I like winning but NOT without a challenging opponent. It's not even a good app to learn the game with, because it teaches all the wrong moves you should never make in real game. Completely boring, no challenge, & unrealistic play. Uninstalled!!

Fun-gives you chances. Other games I've played the computer always comes up with the knock off rolls for your opponent constantly--not in a real game does that happen with such regularity.

The game isn't random at all, the computer gets high doubles every turn and if you're lucky enough to get a double it's usually on a 1 or 2. When rolling to see who goes 1st the computer always get one more than you ensuring that the computer always goes 1st. If you have a single piece somewhere you better believe the computer's gonna roll the perfect number to take that piece out.

this should be 4 stars, but until they fix the bug that came with the latest update, 1 is to many. WE WANT DICE!!! We can't play if you don't provide dice. uninstalling and reinstalling works for a maximum of five games, and the you take away the dice.

Well done on the update now I can't play, as soon as the board loads the dice does not appear. shame you can't rate 0 stars To easy, the AI doesn't know how to play the game what's up with the stats I have lost 2 games out of a hundred plus games and it shows as 84 wins 73 loses.

I hate games that try to pick which way I play on the board. Uninstalling. I could find no settings and I had to close it out because it refused to change screens. Note to developers, no one wants to hear loud obnoxious music.

unrealistic, you can re roll or roll double 6es on demand. repetitive music gets old in about 10 seconds. improve graphics, lose the music and the cheat rolls and I'll give you a 5 star rating.

One of the best backgammom games.. No coins for games. You keep playing as long as you like. I am only playing against the computer but extremely easy to win. I have playwd other backgammom games, but this is my favorite so far. I highly recommend this one!!

Good game, but prefer to be able to move total dice roll, rather than just one at a time. Also, the option to change your counter and board orientation

Not a bad game other than when you use double xp and win you don't get double xp points. Would rate higher if that was fixed.

Liked it at first. Now all of a sudden you cant connect with your Facebook. So everytime you close out of the game and go back to it later it will start you back off at Level 1.

I like the game right now I had to unistall the game and reinstall the game. My dice disappered. 2/1/2019.... 2/4/2019 No dice again it seems that when the pop-up for rating the game and said no because I already did one. I answered no twice right after that I had no dice. I am rerating the game droping it down from a 5 stars to 2 1/2 stars. i have not heard a word from the maker of the app.

Would give no stars, after playing for quite abit and opened up about 8-10 new bords game reset to begining next time ive opend it. Deleted. PS you need to sort out Unity ads that saves im my photo album about 15 pics and videos daily.

Gameplay is fun but I have a problem with the fact the game plays an ad then force opens my browser and takes me to a website to download the advertised game. Not ok. Deleting this app.

I played two games and I bet I rolled doubles 5 or 6 times in a row. TWICE. No thanks. That's not a fun win. Also, no offense but controls are clumsy too compared to some other games I play.

Great animation. Exciting play. Nice variety of boards. No way to choose difficulty though.

I like the game and the gameplay. When I try to log into FB, it gives me a message that I'm not authorized to do so and to contact developer for permissions? Not happy about that!

This has gone from best backgammon game to worst. Once I wrote my rating it becomes rigged! Every dice he lands on you, so your game is getting off the centre board, no real shots anymore! Now uninstalling!

Very good game. One annoying thing is the floating leaves around the dice which makes it hard to see the dice.
