Ultimate Bass Tuner

since the last update I don't like it anymore because before it opens to tune it will show a starting picture too long and sorry, I don't have patience to watch that every time, if I want to tune I want to tune it NOW so I choosed one which will let me tune immediately. Very stupid and it's only disturbing

Very helpful and accurate. You can see the needle moving to get to the right frequency of the note your trying to tune to, there's no delay whatsoever. The thing i like most about this app is that is has a setting for each kind of bass(4-6 string). You can pick the different ways you want to tune them in half-steps, whole steps, Drop A's & D's, high C's, and more. Must have app for quick tuning. It actually helped me discover more about the bass and not just stay in a comfort zone.

I just started using the Ultimate Bass Tuner ( 3/11/20), but so far I think it's Great. It's simple to use, accurate, and has a nice little UI. What more can you ask for? No ads? Yeah, I agree, but I like it so much, I happily went ahead and paid the $ to help out the Developer(s), and to, yes, remove the ads to make the app look even tidier. I highly recommend this app to any one looking for an accurate & cool app. There are many, but I really dig this one a lot! Keep up the Good Work, guys.

It works fine indoors and has very good accuracy. I'm surprised it had several tunings for 4, 5 and 6 strings however it doesn't have a lot of more niche tunings like Drop E that I use a lot. My only real problem with the app, which keeps it at 3 stars is that it drains my phones battery like no tomorrow. At least 3% a minute is gone when I'm using this app.

What a peice of GARBAGE maybe the one who invented this junk should try actually tuning a bass with It!!!!!!!!! Oh and thanks phones and walls don't go well. Got me so pissed now I need a new phone. Thanks a lot.

It seemed to be functioning properly if you only want to tune the low range open strings. There are no options for tuning at the 12th fret for intonation nor using harmonics. The needle just goes all the way sharp and stays there. I typically will use harmonics first, then check the low register as well as intonation. I uninstalled because it cannot meet my needs as a tuner.

Awesome! I was using another guitar tuner app that works well for my acoustic but it was having trouble picking up the bass notes even though it had capability of tuning a 4 and 5 string bass. I went searching for a tuner app that was specific for bass guitar. This was the first one that came up and it worked immediately and finally my 5 string bass is in tune.

I'll give you some free advice before I start, find another bass tuner app. Absolutely s***. Doesn't tune your bass and took me about half an hour to tune mine. That like 69 times as long as it should be. The app is really sensitive and on the A string for example, it goes from the desired 55 hertz to about 353 hertz with a one millimetre twist of the timing knob and I'm the space of a half second. Not impressed. Sort it out. It like trying to tune an old, dilapidated, broken, rusty tractor!

Love it. Easy and quick. Don't love the ads but worth it for such a great tuner.

Does a great job while I'm putting on new strings and can't be bothered to get all my pedals out for the tuner. I wouldn't mind an alternative setting, to allow for tuning the E string down to D etc. If that is on it please tell me.

Really good tuner, easily picks up notes and takes little time to tune it. The only issue is the amount of ads but that can be fixed by using adblocker, turning off WiFi or turning on airplane mode.

So far, so good. Used it last night at a gig. Left the clip on tuner in the bag. Great app. The frequency tuning is a most auspicious addition. I can now make my meditation music accordingly. Big bass love 🖤

The first 6 weeks it was cool. Then it would hang up and tuner would not work

It was a good app until they put up pay walls. For the longest time everything was free but now you have to pay to get anything below drop d. Good app ruined by greedy developers. I've had this app ever since I've started playing bass and liked that it had alternative tunings but now they are gonna charge me for something that was free and has been for well over a year

Kept switching to strings i wasent tuning and when it finally stopped (after about 15 mins) it only showed if i was way too high, or way too low, my bass is now completely out of tune. Please fix this so that i can use it properly.

Surprisingly very responsive /accurate... After tuning it with the app, I compared it with the readings of a plug in tuner... Very close.This app is great for when you forgot your bass guitar tuner /on the road.

Worked for about a minute, then stopped detecting the D and A strings, even after two restarts. But hey, at least the ads loaded flawlessly!

This works like a charm. I am new at the bass and it takes no guess work or struggle to figure out the strings proper tuning. I recommend it so you can use it with confidence.

I'm a novice and this was super easy to use! If I could give a higher rating I would. I have a 4 string Yamaha RBX170 electric bass. I used the standard option with the guitar unplugged from the amp when using this tuner.

Tuner works rather well but the ads refresh wayyy to fast causing the app to lag and not able to tune my bass because of it. I have an s9 and it should be able to run a tuner app.

Good app... But I don't like the fact that the app is meaning to tune the open notes alone.. We should be able to tune the 12th fret too.. That way we can adjust the brigades and get a perfect tuning.

Tried using another bass tuner app and spent over 15 minutes trying to get it to even register that I was playing a note. Installed this one and got it down in 30 seconds. Great app.

It works for most frequencies but can't recognize my second string as A(55hz). Instead it picks it up at 110hz? I've tried reinstalling to no avail. I love the app otherwise but it's useless to me unfortunately.

Freezes up over and over for short periods of time which is really annoying when you're trying to get consistent immediate feedback on your current pitch

Finally a tuner for 4, 5 and 6 string bass players. Also tunes to half and full step down along with other popular tunings. Thanks for the great app! 🎶🎸👍

Works and works well. Simple bass tuner that either plays the notes or picks up the frequencies coming out of your bass. Love it!
