I would have thought the "ultimate" car audio app would at the very least have a L/R balance slider! I want to test if my left tweeter is working properly. Nope, can't do it easily from the app I've gotta fiddle with the annoying head unit menu to put all the volume through that side.
This app has been great for many years. To be honest I think the user interface on this version looks better than the paid. Both could be a lot better. The usefulness of it is great though. That's why I still give it 4 stars. And lmao at the reply about a cheaper, lesser quality phone 😂
Love how easy to use it is tone generator is a nice touch have built several friends and clients enclosures using this app and it hasn't let me down just recently even trusted the cut sheet sections and built the Box totally out of the cuts of wood the calculator gave me and it worked out perfectly looking forward to upgrading so I can use all the features
Great app for tones, box calculations, and wiring diagrams. Link to the website for great car audio supplies as well. Great for people new to car audio, avoid trolls when asking simple questions about ohm loads and just check the app lol.
I made my first box ever with this app for 4 sundown sav2 10s, it sound phenomenal it hits so many frequencies(24-65 hz) while getting real low and being punchy and I know because I've paid hundreds for professional boxes in the past. I wish I would have taken this route sooner, the app is worth every penny
Works well but... I wish the enclosure calculator could also work in reverse... You type in the tuning frequency you want, net volume, amount of subs and their size, and sub displacement, then it gives you the LxWxH and cut sheet.
This app was referred to me by EXO from YouTube. Which I'm guessing you paid him to do that lol. But I downloaded it even before I saw his video. This app is useful, but still needs a lot of work. I learned from the app calculations that my box is tuned to 32hz which was pretty cool.
I love the app. Its simple and makes building enclosures that much easier for the average person with some knowledge
Super easy to use and understand. I downloaded it literally 10 minutes ago and Im going to get my cut pieces tomorrow, all u need is just a little understanding of what ur doing and this app
Tone generator could use a ton of options added. Good calculators. Excellent for figuring out your electrical limitations and box tuning. Got mine spot on...tuned to 21 Hz.
Using this to help figure out what battery to use in the rear. Super helpful. Thanks xplicit!
Note 9 here this worked great for test tones while tuning my amp.
Works great..all you need in one app...love the box calculator..
Doesn't work within S7 edge , will update one note 9 shows up
The best box building program I have used for Android.
Does nothing, not working maybe it a compatibility issue with 5G
Great tools for the everyday DIY
Love, love, love this app.
Its about the only box calculator that works on here
Great app with true imfo
Works as it should
Hiw do you chang from inches to millimeters
Not really bad.
Buy pro it's worth it
This "box builder" app doesn't help you design a box, as it doesn't even ask for speaker parameters! YOU have to do all the hard work figuring out the actual volume of your box and port size.... Unless I'm missing something, this app is basically just a cut list app for people who can't do basic math.
Theres access to many in-depth calculators on this app. These calculations used to take me a combination of apps to complete.. Due to this app there's no longer a need to have all the other enclosure/sub calculators I would use. As an installer at Car Toys I can say I approve.
Only thing to make it better so far is in the tone generator, a stop button and maybe a increase-decrease increment buttons for when your trying to see where your sweet spot tone is between 20-50hz without having to retype for each hertz. Even could be 4 sets to increase by 1, 10, 100, 1000 hz each.
Very versatile app! I primarily use it for the box building feature. I use it to calculate subwoofer enclosure volumes, port area and port length. I manually check the math on volumes and area and it's spot on. I've double checked the port length vs other online calculators and have been .01 inches in variation between other apps and websites so I trust the port length calculator as well. Lots of information included in this app.
