Ultimate Fishing Knots
Happened in summer of 2011. I was fishing and I had to tie a knot, which I used a very long time ago. Ok, no panic, “there is an app for that”, so I’ve checked the Android market, but I was quite disappointed, as I could not find such app, which would gave step-by-step, easy-to-follow instructions with good photos.So I’ve made this app. That’s it.
This application illustrates how to make the most popular fishing knots, categorized in 4 chapters: line, hook, misc and boating knots. Step-by-step instructions help anyone to master those.

It's the advertisement's that take over the screen that ruin my experience. Wake up app writers your losing us. Update. Any add that forces a time you have to endure is hell. The small adds on the screen are ok but the big ones forget it.

I was so hoping this app was good. But it keeps blanking the photos for the knots and explination so that you can not see anything but the background. Will give this app higher stars once this is fixed in 1 week. Or will keep it at 1 star and delete the app.
Love the ability to add frequently used/needed knots to favourites. Ads are not overly in your face. Great app for learning!

I don't use this app much but is handy as sometimes I forget how to tie certain knots that I don't use very often. Get a glance at it and it all comes back.
Just upgraded to ad free, shoes ad free statement when i first load it, but then ads appear on each section. Plus you don't have the FG knot in your line to line section, wth? Refund please
Photos make it easy to follow the how to tie the knots. Voice instruction could be a little better.

Very detailed and love the step by step pictures makes it very easy to follow.
Look at all the permissions he needs...payment info and other stuff. Find apps that don't need permissions.
Zoom is a great feature to see which lines are over or under.
Some knots specific to fly fishing would be nice.

Does not include clinch, San Diego jam, FG, uni... Just to name a few. How do you even call this a fishing knot app without these basic knots??

Love this app! Very intuitive ui, and great information about each knot. It is very helpful for choosing the right knot for your particular needs (reliability, able to undo or not, pros & cons, etc). The instructions for making the knot you choose are very easy to follow and complete so there is no guessing about how it goes. The pictures alone are good enough to be able to make the knot even if there weren't any directions. Very comprehensive - it covers any situation that you may have
