21/5: after updating the apps, I can't import the old notes back to the apps successfully. how come? 15/5: always force close, cannot open the apps successfully in samsung galaxy s22, please check and rectify. thanks!

This app is nonsense, I paid extra to get the 'ad free' version but now I get a pop-up asking me to pay a monthly subscription for a cloud EVERY TIME I OPEN THE APP OR SWITCH NOTES! How is this not an ad? Don't waste your money upgrading.

Good but could use some updates. I have used this app for many years. I would like to see the following.... Ability to cross out a line item with a swipe. More color choices for folders. The ability to change font and font size in each folder and not a blanket change for ALL my folders

Some reason I this app gets access to wifi and or mobile data. Even after removing the permission and using a VPN to block access this app still somehow shows ads. I don't know how but it's infuriating. Every time an ad pops up it scrolls back to the top every time. The app isn't good enough to pay for the no ad experience however I see it as a breach of privacy when it still somehow gets access to internet unless you are in airplane mode.

It's very cool application easy to use interface love it.

DO NOT USE!!!! THIS APP DOESNT WORK ANYMORE!!! It's an amazing app. I've used it for several years, but here lately, it keeps crashing. I've tried reinstalling it and clearing my cache, but it hasn't helped. It needs an update. Otherwise, it's very useful and user-friendly!! Please fix it!!

I have been using Notepad for several years now. I have always been a big fan of this app. I never had any issues with it, and it stored many, many important notes for me on my phone. I really liked that those notes were stored on my phone where I could easily access them. One day the app was working without issue. Then, later that day the app crashed. I updated it and after the update all the most recent notes I had saved were gone. The app reverted to old saved data. I am so disappointed.

It's has a very pretty and easy to use interface as if you're writing in an actual notepad, my only issue with it is, as I store large notes in it to work out ideas and such, is that whenever I want to add something on the top of it, it takes me ages to get to that part, it's also a little inconvenient to add something at the beginning. If tapping once where you'd like to edit was added, it might even be a 5 stars, the ad at the bottom of the page isn't bothersome, hence the free version is good

I subscribed to this app due to the fact it stated you can sync with multiple devices, without the ads, but it doesnt. I have tried to contact the developer and have yet to hear back from them. I used to like the app, but this is very upsetting. Save your money! If you dont mind the ads its ok, if you dont want to sync with other devices its ok. UPDATE - Developer contacted me asked me to update my review before even fixing the issue. Very slow responding. Still no resolution. Deleted app

I had hundreds of notes on this app, it was good for making notes for sure. One major problem I found was the cloud storage. This function should save notes on the actual account of the user, not the device. My phone got hacked and I had to factory reset. Fearing for my data on this app being deleted, I redownload the app and lo and behold, all my data is gone and there is no option for cloud data recovery unless I subscribe. Very disappointing and dissatisfying

Ive been using this app for almost 3 years now. Easy to use, easy to send/share a note, use speech to text, etc. However- 1 HUGE "flaw" - if set to "auto save" - if u open a note for a split second - even if by mistake - it automatically "updates" as in CHANGES the date of the note!!. There is NO RECORD of the DATE Note was CREATED!! Or the any previous updates! Last date disappears completely.

Doesn't Deliver on Sync. One of the features touted is the ability to sync between devices. This is a feature you just pay for. What they don't tell you is it doesn't have the capability of syncing with your PC. It would have been nice if that was disclosed (promanently) up front. When I brought this up to the developers, they basically blew me off. Will never buy from this company again.

Works flawlessly. Clicking on a URL link on a note will open the link on a browser (I create very primitive bookmark's listings). Not only can one backup the notes and restore them, but notes can be shared with others via email or Bluetooth. By the way, the notes are saved as text files and therefore can be used by any text reader / editor.

I've downloaded multiple note pads this one is by far the best one. not only does it have the best features but its constantly being updated. so I'm guessing there's more features to come. they should change their app logo to something more recognizable or that can distinguish it self from others just saying.

Have to retract my review and rerate. I would still like to think of this as a 5 star app as I once did. However in one of the last updates the + button to create a note was moved from the bottom of the screen (where it should be) and placed in the centre. Inquired about it to the developer to see about a fix. To date- no reponse has been received. They do not read reviews or respond.

Used to like it so much, its a good app back then. But recently it keeps on force closing. The app keeps on crashing and files are unaccessible even after i backup, redownload, move to other device and open it there. Please fix it! Maybe bugs or sth has happened to my files? Some are very important, pls fix it immidiately. Thank you.

Very easy to see your notes visually. Easy to start new notes quickly. Easy to organize and find notes. I also like how it has a detail of confirming deletions by showing you the name of the note that is selected. It has a design that is straight to the point.

As several others have noted, the color selection no longer functions correctly. When you try to change the color of a note, selection Bar opens but it appears to be cut off or too large and you cannot select all of the colors that you used to have available. this is very annoying.

Love the app, been using it for some time. Unfortunately the trash bin is broken, and whenever I click on it, the app freezes, which then slowly freezes everything else on my phone if I dont shut down the app in time. Im using a galaxy s21, latest software. Pls fix, I deleted a note by mistake and cant retreive it because of this bug. Otherwise, five stars.

This app was very helpful at one point. But it's very glitchy now. It doesn't open and force closes immediately. I cleared my cache and even uninstalled and reinstalled. Worked shortly and problem started up again. If it doesn't get fixed I will have to move on to a different app

WAS a great app. After the last update, now it won't open and I get a message that the app has a bug in it! I've sent a message to the app creator and gotten no response.

When I try to export the notes to my sd card in settings it does not appear on the storage card. The notepad app says the data will appear in my sd card under a folder titled "mynotes". This folder does not exist. How can I fix this problem? I have lots of notes and I'm trying to transfer them to the same app on a new phone.

I enjoyed this app for years. Until I updated. The ads are so obtrusive that there's barely any room to write. I'm happy to pay $5, $6, even $10 for a useful quality app. But I'm not going to pay $10 every year to backup my to do list and grocery list to the cloud. That doesn't make sense. I will find something else.

A great app for keeping notes and tabs on things, besides the issue below, had no problems before. Good app, will change star rating if notes can be recovered. Thanks again! I recently reinstalled the app and it didn't have any of my notes from last time i used it. I have reinstalled this before and didn't have this problem. Please help me on this issue.
