Ultimate Rotation Control

I started using this app when I got my Note 4. Unfortunately, my Note 4 finally gave up and I had to replace it with a Note 9. I was a little concerned that it might not work on the new phone since the app hasn't been updated since 2017, buy so far it still works great on my Note 9 also. I may be wrong, but most of the rotation apps I've looked at appeared to need to be switched manually by pulling down the info bar and choosing what orientation you wanted. What I like about this app is that once set up the change in orientation is automatic. I set almost all of the settings on Forced Auto, but if there is an app that doesn't work correctly unless it's in a specific orientation I can set that app not to change. I could only make guesses why the app works on some phones and not others that are all running the same OS, but what I do know for sure is it that it is working fine on my Note 9 and I hope it doesn't stop when the new updates start coming.

Brilliant app that does exactly what it is meant to do, and does it well and reliably. I have but one request though: Is it possible to get a toggle option on the widget though? You know, where you press one button and it just does the opposite of what you currently are selected. So, if you're on landscape, you press one button and it goes to portrait. Press the same button, and it goes to Landscape... Much like WiFi button on the pull down menu of the phone

The options look nice but I didn't notice it cost, the 1st time I clicked the list it said my 7 day free trial was over. Admittedly I could be wrong, but it seems like these rotation apps can't be monstrously expensive when so many of them are free. I just think a lot of people will choose free for this kind of thing. I wouldn't even care if there was some kind of ad sometimes, as long as it's not like some long video because then it wouldn't be worth it or faster than going to my settings.

IT JUST QUIT WORKING. For a little over a year, it was great. Now it is stuck in reverse portrait. I am wondering why I paid for this at this point. I'm going to have to uninstall it & try a different app. Might as well have tossed my money in the trash can. It apparently hasn't been updated for years, unless I misunderstand something. My Note 9 has updated multiple times since then. This is probably a conflict with something in an update. I note the rating overall has gone down.

Works in forcing apps to be in landscape since my tablet is always in landscape mode, but once it just adjusted all apps to portrait when i entered google play, which caused me to waste time to trial and error to put it back to landscape. Not sure how often this will happen, and this is just a 7 day trial. Have no idea how much the full version costs... it's kinda effective but also clickbait

I tried 10 apps but this one is simply the best. Does what it should plus it has some extra features. It can be controlled using system's default rotation icon [Edit] After August 2020: Rotation settings per app is not working! Its a one week trial period pops up even though I purchased it. [Edit] October: the developer solved the lisence issue when I emailed him.

Won't let me activate my license. I have 3 trial days left Need to note: works perfectly without any permissions other than letting it draw over other apps. If you accept the other permissions you are giving the app the ability to read EVERYTHING that is on your screen. I also turned the notifications off and hid the app and just use the widget to switch between auto, forced auto, and off, makes it feel like it was built into the ui....hope this helps

Camera had some issues in Note 8's recent update. This is solved by (developer quote) "Hi Unfortunately, I can only force an apps rotation, not its layout. You can use the per-app settings to exclude application which malfunction." Didn't know this app could do that, try this if you're having issues! Great app, have been using it since the Nvidia Shield Portable came out.

Hi developer, the apps been working great till upgrading to Android 9 on Samsung 8. I've been using the app to turn screen upside down. it still works but when camera is in landscape mode it kind of double rotates to a square. I've tried enable per app and selected camera manual and tried other variations. it's like the app doesn't recognise the camera app is on. Any help would be great thanks.

I would like to see one more option added: the option to flip the display such that it is readable in a mirror, or Mirror Image. It's often called HUD mode because that's exactly what I'm going to use it for. Please help me get this option into the app because otherwise I'm going to have to write one of these myself

Holy cow! This actually works and is what I was looking for. I can use my phone upside down, so the charger port is in the right position. Thanks! Though I do wish it was explained clearer that it it for a 7 day free trial, then you must pay and tell people upfront the cost.

Do not buy the license. After 5 minutes of enabling it, the app will forget and you have to enable it again. Again and again and again. It's been like this for months and months. I had hope the developer would fix this after seeing complaints about this in the reviews, but there is no activity whatsoever. Automations in Tasker, depending on the rotation, are therfore useless. Luckily, Tasker now has orientation functionality built in, so I don't need this app anymore.

Samsung S8+ - I used the licensed app for several years successfully, Today I had to uninstal it as it was not allowing camera app to display it's own photos in correct format. This problem started few weeks back and would not fix with several resets, etc. So I assume the current version (2017) needs an update. After deleting App the Camera photo display oriientations were working properly again.

This app's really handy when it works properly, but sometimes notifications from other apps than the one you have in focus, edge lighting effects, and sometimes even just the seemingly random whim of this app can cause it to change your phone's rotation, which is EXTREMELY annoying if you're trying to play a game.

There is a problem with the app becoming unlicensed after updating my phone, probably the phone's update's fault so, if you're an oppo user, be warned. If you're not an oppo user, this app is very convinient and does exactly what I want, which is force rotate, and lock rotation.

Was a 5* as I've considered this app over the years to be mandatory! However lately I've been experiencing issues with licensing that I've never encountered before. It says it's expired when I clearly have the license app installed. Down to 2* until this debilitating bug gets fixed.

This is the best rotation app in my opinion. The only app where portrait reverse (screen upside down) is part of the automatic settings so my screen adjusts to whatever position my phone is held in. It's a shame that the dev seems to have stopped supporting though so no 5 stars

Sadly the number one feature this app was meant to provide for me was the ability to control the lockscreen rotation, and that lone feature was not in the apps options anywhere. At least not while installed on Oreo, which is extremely disappointing.

not actually finding what I'm looking for, I was wanting to be able to put in a delay. If anyting, my auto-rotate is too sensetive, if I could have a delay timer of 5-10 seconds before rotating I'd be happier.

I downloaded this app to assist me when casting from my phone to my Firestick. Unfortunately, my OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren 5G doesn't connect. I reached out to Amazon support, got a canned answer, and nothing else. Not any fault of this app, just not able to use it properly. It seems to do what I wanted, but I can't use it.

Easily the best app in the market if you want to easily control your phone's orientation on demand. Would gladly pay if it works when the phone is locked or while it's getting charged or when it's locked.

When I installed this, I saw nothing staying that this was only a week trial, and that the full version costs nearly $3! I could see maybe $1, but installing this app without disclosing that it is only a trial is dishonest and misleading, not to mention a huge waste of my time!

Really love this app. Bought it a while ago. Few apps I find it doesn't work with on current version: Stick Cricket (has never worked) and Youtube Vanced. All my other apps work as expected. It's really helpful being able to specify rotation control for specific apps.

Used for years on my Samsung models. Currently using the Note 9, and now it doesn't seem to rotate the lock screen. Everything else still seems to work as intended. Is this something that doesn't work anymore with the new Android versions?

Though I see other Galaxy Note 8 users say this works great for them, this app did not rotate the app "Neighbors by Ring", downloaded from the Google's Play Store. Thus, I can't give it more than a 1-star rating. I'd love to give this a 10-star rating. I've rebooted the phone, tried other various rotation settings for Neighbors by Ring, but none worked for me. Help, please.

I've had this app plus license for several years now. Loved it until now. I have an issue with my Note 9 camera in landscape mode. Incompatible.i can't disable it per app just adjust the settings so I had to force stop. Was 5 stars, now unusable. Please fix, thank you

Great app, but could you make an update where the app can mirror the screen (flip the image from left to right). I'm using it with a pico projector and need that functionality.

Worked for apps that would not landscape, however caused problems for perfectly fine working apps. Selecting individual apps did not work, as links within those apps would be wonky, causing freezes, lockups forced reboots.
