App is unstable and or unreliable in my experience. Freezes on logo or screen remains black when starting up. Reinstallation did not remedy. Inconvenient to clear cache each time. Operating new galaxy Note10. When it works properly (25% of the time at best), then it does the job hence the 3 stars but somewhat disappointed for what should be a premium product.
It works great on computer but on phones, if we disconnect VPN, in order to connect again, we have to uninstall and then reinstall app. That's the only way it will turn on. Noticed others are having the same issue. I wonder if there was an update they didn't tell us about. But when it's on, no issues at all.
What are you guys doing with out releasing major fix.. isn't feel like worst?? Login issues happening and app itself not opening. Workaround: Log out every time once ur usage is completed. Otherwise you will have to uninstall and reinstall every time. The company doesn't care for Android mobile it looks like. I wont extend my subscription from next year for sure.
Having to uninstall and reinstall every time I want to use it makes me regret choosing UltraVPN. This is a problem on the PC app as well. If you are thinking of getting a VPN I don't recomend this one. It's great WHEN it works, but in a competitive market that's just not good enough.
Works well enough, however there is a glitch after the first use where everytime you start it up, the screen just freezes. I got around this issue by signing out of the app before closing. Other than that, works great, cheap subscription.
I subscribe premium for 2nd year, and yet the auto connection to VPN still pending without effective solution. My android phone has become lagging unresponsive each time phone restarted especially Android 10 launched. The connection itself is stable and good but the bugs is very annoying. I will consider to t u other product if this issue not fixed until the next billing circle.
It works well on PC but on the phone it is absolute ∆$$. The app won't open. It literally got stuck on the opening screen for about 7 minutes and it still didn't open. Glad I bought on 70% discount for a full year. Once it's over, I'm not buying it and I'm picking another VPN because this one is kind of ∆$$. Sad that the review online said this UltraVPN was the "best".
Works well on my home computer , but I have to re install every time I log out on my phone. I don't think I will be renewing my subscription if this is not fixed . UPDATE I cancelled my subscription and automatic renewal and yet when my subscription came due I was charged for another year. Ironic that I get ripped off buy an internet security app. If I could give zero stars I would !
Terrible other then the first time entering the app subsequently cannot even get past the first page. Will still continue using on the computer but the app for phones is terrible. The network itself is stable but always not able to turn off and on after the first time have to keep reinstalling and uninstalling every time I want to use the vpn
Using for over a year now on my laptop and android mobile. Started well for few months and now it's downhill. Perfect with Laptop, but in Mobile As all users have mentioned the app freezes diring launches and renders unusable for several minutes, eventually it loads after 5 or 10 mins that too if you leave it at theblogo screen undisturbed snd then the app works as described for as long as you need it. Not everyone has that kinda patience. Look for some other VPN provider - save your bucks.
Download the app everytime 🤷♂️, it's ok if you keep connected bit if you disconnect from the server, you'll need to uninstall and re-download the app otherwise you'll spend eternity looking at a splash screen and by all accounts it's been this way for some time 🤔😡...sort it out.
I purchased the license and installed in HP AIO PC and in Lenovo Yoga Smart tablet, the application works OK in PC, but the app in Android device is a total disaster, it suddenly goes frozen and the only way to get it working again is thru multiple install-unistall-reinstall cycles. The support on line (live chat) was fine, unfortunately it was not possible to fix the app problem. I am very sorry for support team dealing with such a bad app. I do not recommend this app for Android devices.
I've reinstalled this app countless times, and it will only work for about a few hours every time I do, if I'm lucky. It just shuts itself off constantly. ( I have paid for premium) I've also just noticed they haven't updated since 2019 😑
I am getting ready to cancel on my trial because it keeps getting stuck and will not reopen when I reboot my phone unless I uninstall and reinstall the app. I have done it so many times now that I am sick of it. It seems others are having the same issue . If this is not fixed soon I will go back to my old VPN
Your Android app is hopeless after the update. It doesn't run for subsequent use after the first login session and just hangs on the splash screen. I have to clear login credentials and manually log in to be able to connect every single time.
Opened it the first time with low expectations, it worked! Logged in.. thought everything was fine. Opened it the second time and was stuck on splash screen 😡 Last update was a year ago, please fix your app.
It's stuck on the splash page and won't open, despite reset. 1 start to get devs attention, and will then change it (2020-6-18). Happened again, no response from devs. Had uninstall and install again (2020-8-24). Still no dev response. Sometimes takes over 3 minutes to start working ... If at all. (2020-09-20). Garbage app
Wouldn't bother at all with this vpn, it's unusable on android, the app just crashes and refuses to reload, you have to uninstall the app and reinstall it from the store every single time you want to use it. Ridiculous for a paid service.
Hi.. It was perfectly okay till march 2020.. Have to uninstall and re install to. Make it work.. Though i have paid for the app. It needs to be fixed. Otherwise it was great app. Will have to think twice for a renewal if the issue is not solved.
Sluggish and non responsive. Takes long time to gain VPN connection. If you want to switch servers, it either takes forever to respond to your touch or sometimes doesn't changes servers. I have to for stop VPN to try again.
Guys, you had a great service and now you're destroying everything with this crashing app. I was hoping to stay with you for a few years but I'll probably have to cancel my subscription on the basis of these crashes, because I see it's a global thing.
The app does what it's supposed to do but it freezes my phone all the time. I have to uninstall it and reinstall it. It's a pain. I paid for a year subscription and after that won't renew. Too many issues for me and my laptop
For the past version, it works fine. But the mobile version just work like for a month or so since I installed it n it stop working. Can't even open the app at all, please do an update n fix the problem.
This app connects then disconnects immediately. In 2 weeks I have not had one stable connection! Don't waste money on this. It works ok on a PC but not on the phone.
It won't work in my tablet, it shows that is connected and working but when I try to watch YouTube or Netflix I had the same restrictions that I had before use the app. It's weird because it works fine on my iphone.
i cannot imagine that this app would go from 100 to 0 that fast. I had subscribed last year for a year and my subscription ends in a week. I am very certain that i will not apply for a renewal. The geek staff and support is very stubborn and ignoring complaints. Soon changing my vpn provider.
App freezes on second time use, half the time it wont let me login saying that my details are incorrect. FORGET ABOUT TRYING TO RESET THE PASSWORD ( No emails received), after several attemps to contact customer service With NO reply, this is definitely the biggest fail I have come across in the Playstore. Catch and Bait tactic! This app started well. I paid for the 2y premium service and it was fine for a good several months. Now, you click on the app, nothing happens; worse, your phone is frozen at that screen (Android). I have uninstalled and re-installed it and it works for a few days and back to its usual hiccups. The reviews are telling. If you can switch providers, do it! They have refused to fix the bugs, in this era of competition.
