This is an incredibly faithful fan made version of Civilization, with an adorable artstyle and engaging game play. The graphics are good, and the game is liberating in its simplicity. The only thing I ask for is a tiny tutorial explaining what the menus are for. I spent hours not realizing that you can change your nation from random to a specific nation to the right of scenario creation. Also, perhaps when you hold down an option, it briefly explains what that option is?

Best civilization strategy, very relaxing and good to kill time. Has mods, adding more possibilities, as well as multiplayer. Many options for world creation. One thing that bugs me is that you have to press 'Next Unit' a lot, depending on the number of units you have. Especially annoying if you've gotten far into the game with a hundred units, pressing the next unit button for probably 2 to 3 minutes straight before you can press Next turn. Takes a while to learn, but this game is very good.

This is definitely the best civilization strategy game I'm ever played on mobile. The only problem with it is the fact where you have to press next unit for every single troop you have. I understand why it is implemented (so that you don't skip over any troops and forget about them), but I feel like it could be done better like for example if you could set units to be reminded of or maybe something else. Overall great game and I hope you guys keep updating it and not giving up on this epic game.

It's simple enough to understand for beginner like me. It's interactive and cool. It still have many shortcomings as it's not completed yet (suggestion, for the worker's path, it's quite confusing when I first played), but it's definitely have many potential.

The game itself is amazing, can't get tired of playing different worlds with friends, but recently we've been having problems about reaching server limit even when it is just two players playing together. 300 second counter kept repeating and we can't play anymore. I would honestly be okay with paying if it means the server limit will be bigger and issues such as these will be gone.

Amazing. Most critical reviews are tech problems, and people that have never played Civ who have issues with the poor tutorial. Fair enough. Other than that it's basically Civ V with much more simplistic graphics, I'm here for the strategy anyway, and it delivers. It's the best turn-based-strategy on mobile that I've played, and no content locked behind micro-transactions.

This game is basically a (slightly modded) recreation of Civ 5 that is currently lacking Brave New World along with some other features. It is still in development so these will likely be added in the future. There are some additional stuff that were absent in Civ 5 as well. For example, melee land and naval units can engage each other, and the AI is definitely more competent and ruthless, although still easy to beat in wars. Easy recommend to anyone who has spent countless hours on Civ games.

It's amazing but the game speed options are deceptive I put it to marathon because I thought that meant fast gameplay but it's the exact opposite I think you should state that somewhere in the creation menu or put information dots you can click to find this out. Also it often crashes when you use huge maps with to many ai

add options to be able to skip turns without having to move or sleep every unit. Other than this, i would just like for the game to rip off more civ stuff to make the clone feel more authentic. Just name happiness to amenities, and rename some tech tree things to their civ counterparts. It makes it feel like im eating off brand cereal instead of the real deal, slightly unsatisfying.

Great civ-like experience in a mobile package. Easy to get started with lots of features. I've put in about a dozen hours already. No issues, bugs, or crashes encountered so far.

Very nice app to pass the time. Its got a lot of features when it comes to a mobile app. It does not fire ads at you every 5 seconds. Ads aren't even really a part of the game I myself have not come across one.

It's a really well made remake of Sid Meier's Civ 6, which is why I got it. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean it controls well, or belongs, on mobile. It was clunky, bloated, and slow. I don't think that's the devs fault, I just don't think a 4x of this scale works well on mobile.

Great game, no ads, no pay to win, just you and the best strategy you can come up with. Very smooth, but sometimes it get laggy on Android. Constantly updates, providing a great game for free. Tired of the base game? They have easy to install mods! Sid Meier would be proud (I hope).

Game is pretty bland and is anoyingly hard on the base difficulty the tutorial doesnt show you everything and you will be doing fine in the game with alot of military troops to defend your land just for all of the to suddenly disapear when you need them most the game is not worth the time there is better games.

Great game. The only problem is if you have a lot of players in a game, it takes forever to get to the next turn on my phone. I've found mobile saves work on my PC though, so I've started just playing the first 400 turns on my phone, and the rest on my PC.

Don't try starting with a quick game. Idk if it's supposed to be a tutorial, but if it is it's the worst I've ever seen. Please just add arrows or highlights or something, because telling a new player to hit the 'city button' when there's no button labled just that isn't helpful at all. At one point I just clicked on everything and my characters started moving around, losing access to buttons that might have been for the city but idk because the tutorial just kept saying hit the city button

So far so good. A bit hard to get used to, but very similar to the old desktop gaming experience I used to love. Open source and free...! A very good thing! Updated rating to 4! (I almost NEVER give 5) Has definitely become a favorite time waster! With frequently updated content!

DIS. P. May 19, 2022

Best game ever I have seen in offline and also no adds. No extra time required. Just a game with proper logic. Nice buddy. Only thing I want is a separate section for tutorials.

this is a magnificent game but i think it can be improved by allowing us to select multiple units, and i have had problems with downloading mods, but other than those your doing great, keep up the good work and make this game even better. Keep on going>

Definitely a 5 star game. It's COMPLETELY FREE, and I would recommend it to anyone that likes strategy games. The difficulty is very customizable. Even if you are horrible or a legend at strategy games, you can find a good difficulty. The developer is also still adding new content and fine tuning things.

Thr. Mar 9, 2022

Impressive, addictive, but flawed in the late game. What it succeeds at is replicating a decent Civ experience on a handheld. Where it falls short is handling the 30 to 50 units you'll have without the ability to select groups of units, or let any unit be without the game asking you what you want to do with every, single one that isn't asleep. Imo, remove the clicker element and make it a traditional "end turn" button and just select units you wish to order that turn, like every other rts ever.

For what it is i love it. Like a basic version of sids original civ games. Keep up the great work.....Edit. recently it just crashes to home screen every turn. Says not enough memory to load when I have 2gb free. It used to work but is totally unusable at this point. I'll check back as I know you do regular updates.

Neo. F. Jan 25, 2022

It's a very good civ5 redesign, there are many mods, a map editor, and multiplayer. Very impressed, they even added world wrap, I can finally circumnavigate the world. One good thing to add is the ability to assign multiple cities of differing populations on map editor to different civilizations, and a diplomacy editor on map editor, that way Unciv WW2 can work as intended. And possibly bring back map downloading from users.

Really fun, great turn based strategy game, though ive had problems with it completely deleting my games, making me restart Edit: haven't had this problem in awhile, would recommend. Very good for long car rides lol

Buv. May 16, 2022

This is really a good game, but there is an issue I have noticed, in the victory status even when I have very low troops, the force column shows nearly 6 times the actual value

Use. P. May 9, 2022

It honestly impresses me how well the dev has coded Civ 5 with so little memory usage. Though I think diplomacy is broken - I force converted several nations in the gods and kings version and only ever had the +30 relations for extended peace time.

Genuinely a really good adaptation of the Civilisation games onto mobile. Obviously, graphics have had to be cut down to help performance but it is still incredibly fun. No money or payment needed like other mobile games. Was surprised how well it worked. Barely any performance issues until I really tried to push it with 8 different AI nations. A technical achievement.
