You can browse the full Unicode range, jump to Unicode code points or blocks of your choice, or search in character names and Unihan description.
For all characters you get the standard information in the Unicode Character Database (UCD) and for Kanji characters you get all the info in the Unihan database.
Full support for characters beyond Basic Multilingual Plane (BMP) and Emoji (including the color Emoji starting with Android 4.3).

Excellent app -- easy to use, with many useful features. Lets me search for either a text string (if I'm looking for a specific character) or Unicode block (if I'm browsing the database). The Favorites feature is a time-saver that lets me save a list of characters I use often. I've tried several Unicode apps, and this is the one I've stuck with, for features and ease-of-use. Thanks to the dev!
I'm switching over to the "full" version today but before I did so I wanted to leave a rating for this one. I've been using it for several years and it's been my preferred app for searching and copypasting unicode chars . For me the embedded fonts are valuable because the system fonts are missing wide swaths of the code space.
In the latest version (2021.09.09-lite), the app just close immediately right after launch. No FC dialog shown. Trying to uninstall/install with no luck. Was working fine in previous version. FYI for developer, still a great app through. TBA: Working flawlessly on version 2021.09.17-lite. Thanks for the quick fix! 👍
Blank screen opens and closes in a millisecond. Android 11 (MIUI 12.5.2) detects this app is crashing and proposes me to report it. 😔 It's a pitty. It used to work. Maybe it's due to the Android's new restrictions on access to the system resources, IDK.
The scroll bar should be on left side. Most of the people use mobile phone with their right hand. While scrolling, many times I touch the scroll bar by mistake and then it jumps somewhere else and I cannot go back where I was. So please do something about this
Exactly what i needed! Until there's an android keyboard that allows the *entire* IPA not just sections (not holding my breath) i will keep this app on my phone.
This app proven to be quite useful in the past particularly when trying to identify obscure characters. The Dev has just split the app into two - the Lite app, this one and a full one, which I'll now move to. Cheers!
Good, so far. Has more symbols than my device can show. Has search function, scroll bar goes by xx000, and has a Favorites section.
nice app.So far the best unicode apps that I have ever seen.Sir/Madam mihai nita,please include this character "र्" in devanagari list.Brahmi,kaithi started to display in the android oreo phones,but can you suggest me the phones that can display all the characters or most of the characters that are in this characters list?
This app is really good, I have been looking for new features, but it seems it is not being updated, maybe you stopped updating it. That's really sad for me, I hope you keep updating it.
Would give it 5* if the options for number of glyphs displayed in a row were icreased from the current 4/8/16 up to 32/64. (I'm using it on a tablet, not a tiny mobile screen).

Text in app is very tiny. I can't read it. uninstalled this app immediately. I need something I can read.
dies what is says. No issues. would be great if you could load a charcoal characters font and see what is what.
needs resize/magnify. text is microscopic on 4k screens, no easy way to size it.

Totally not worth my time. Only about an eighth of the symbols were there. The rest was just boxes with Xs. Uninstalled!
Perfect! Why don't you add the ability to hide missing glyph cells? (I mean all cells with crossed square placeholder)

It's ok but completely abandoned by the developer! Bloated at 50+mb similar app Character pad is only 7mb.
It's pretty good but my only concern is there's so much that only a 1.2 quarters of the whole thing loads xD

I can copy and paste mathematical symbols into my Google Sheets files.
Characters are too small. I cannot read them.

Excellent! I've been looking for an Android equivalent of the Character Map for quite a while, and have tried a few apps prior to this one. Frankly, I don't need fancy "emoticons," but, after working in publishing for about thirty years, I hate substitute a proper dash with a hyphen. This app has all the characters I need most, and then some. And—no ads! Perfect. Thank you very much.
