Uniden Baby Watch

Does what it says on the box. Unlike other reviews we didn't have an issue with connectivity. But it lacks potential functionality. We have 2 cameras as we have twins so it would be great if the app could Auto switch between cameras just like the receiver does. It would also be good if the app showed the temp like the receiver. Another feature that would be great to add would be notifications. So that if I'm outside the app will alert me to sounds/crying.

Horrible app. Connects the first time you use it with the default password of 000000. Then, after you change it, it will never work again. App has been neglected for over a year. Misspelling suggests overseas developers. No QA. What appalling service from what is meant to be a decent brand. I will definitely be taking this back. They charge a premium for this remote feature and make it look very glossy but have no intention of fixing it or speaking to their customers. Never again Uniden.

Have to constantly close and re-open the app to get it working. Usually I open it up and tap on the camera and it just sits there loading forever. So I close and re-open, tap, it loads but there's just a black screen for a camera. Close and re-open and then it works just fine. If I ever minimise the app by going to another app or my home screen, it comes back to loading forever and I need to repeat the above. I recall having issues setting up initially but that's beside the point.

This app looks and works like it's in Beta. The connection drops in and out; staying connected for not more than 5 mins but usually up to 1 minute only. I'm not one for negative reviews but when you're paying for something for a specific functionality and it doesn't work at all, that needs to be addressed. I hope that Uniden fixes this.

This app is so unpredictable. I have connected it correctly and everything works fine but it is constantly timing out so you have to go back out and back in doing this several times before it works. There have been many many times I thought it was working bit has timed out during the night and my child has since woken up and screaming. Between this and having to stop the app and restart or uninstall and reinstall it is so extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this app

Ok a trap for beginners, this app will only be able to connect if the display head unit is plugged in to the charger. While the LAN cable plus into the charger, the charger is a dumb unit and so no data is transmitted without the head unit attached. Thus needs to be more clearly stated in this app and probably in the setup instructions as well. Note I understand this limitation in giving 4 stars because the app now works consistently as expected

Loved the app when last used about 2.5yrs ago. Despite having to be hardwired. Now resetting it up and cannot link the camera. Keeps coming up wrong password despite hard resets, etc. Cannot come to a resolution. And horrible customer service means zero help in this issue.

Honestly this app is so glitchy. By the time I constantly have to reload to get the live feed, my child is usually screaming. Many times I have had the app running and despite it saying it was a live feed it had actually frozen so my child was screaming in their cot while the feed was showing them settled and asleep. Very disappointed.

Just like everyone else says - this app is absolute garbage. I followed the instructions from the Uniden Owner's Manual exactly, and retried 3 times, and it does not work at all. I'd rather eat a bucket full of dirty nappies than use this useless app ever again.

Extremely bad product. Do not use, worked well for few days. Now 'out of range' but can intermittently see baby when screen is minimised and no longer connect to app.

Terrible app, never works correctly, even after force closing, reloading and/or reinstalling. Got the uniden cameras for the ability to use the app. Very disappointed.

Quality is great. Just wish I could record video's via the app not just snapshots, and get notifications when there is movement/sound. Otherwise really good.

If you are unable to connect to the camera it might be because the docking station isn't connected correctly to the lan cable. There is a reset button on the docking station which will reset it and the green light should come on.

Very buggy..... Cannot get it to work permanently. Works once, but then when I close the app and reopen the password is shown as incorrect.

This is a floating turd of an app. Followed all the instructions to the letter, and it still wont connect to the app. It simply says "Connection Failed". It doesn't tell you why, so you can at least troubleshoot. Whoever is responsible for this app should be fired and sterilised so they can't propagate any more stupidity.

Picture is great when it works, but freezes up most of the time and needs to be restart every time after about 3 seconds of video as connection lost
