App. won't load on any Android devices. I have tried it on an S8 and S9 note. It crashes and will not run. Per request I emailed with screen shots. Waiting to hear back. Developer responded quickly with an update. App now appears to be working correctly.
App keeps crashing when I try to load it. I'd really like to be able to send live messages over our access points, but I need this app to do that!
Not Working, getting NoValidDevicesFound message. But we are able to connect via the SIP ( as extensions) using our PBX
unifi edu unable to record live and play on she 10+. unifi replied saying low priority to fix.

Very sad about the many negative comments in here about this edu app and system. What a great idea but what a seemingly bad implementation. I hope unifi get their act together as I want to deploy 100 of these in a year time but if the edu is rubbish then I just deploy normal unifi ap instead.
Nothing works with pixel on Android 8 half works on a Samsung Galaxy S7 pro from what I'm reading I have to have a iPhone to get live broadcast to work geuss I will try to find a iPhone.. this app should really still be beta using this app after using the main unifi app is just sad I hope the iOS app is better
The app makes promises of connectivity it does not fulfill.

It is a good system however it has many shortfalls. The scheduling is not designed at all. Yes, you can make a schedule but it is not a useable one for a k-12 school. I hope they come up with an app or online configuration for scheduling.
Documentation would be helpful.
We recently installed nearly 200 Unifi Edu access points in our school district. The primary selling point was the built in speaker. The app seems to work fine for Apple devices, but we have tried numerous Android devices and are unable to get live broadcasts to work. All other areas of the app seem to work ok. We are running the most recent version of the controller and radio firmwares.
I can't make broadcast groups without random EDUs being unselected or selected as I scroll. And when I hit submit to make the list EDUs I didn't have check are on the list while others I did are missing.
Not good I can't use it without runing software in my computer Also I can' r make pause for music!!
android wont connect to the device and broadcast. iphone will broadcast but wont accept setting changes.
When i try to create groups for Broadcast i get "Invalid Devices Found" error. It crashes a lot. The ability to set grouped schedules is needed for using the system as a bell system as well as using music other than what gets recorded by the App. I get that this is an early build of the App but its taken way too long to get where its at today which is limited. I waited almost a year for the Speaker WAP to become available and development for this product APP is very slow.
I can login to my controller on my laptop and to the Unifi app on my phone but the Unifi EDU App keeps saying "invalid login information. " And of course I had to buy from a company that has no phone# to call for support and "chat" support solution is to give me a link to the manual I already have in the box. Customer service is a lost art.
I've been lucky enough to be able to watch the development of this great application and it's linked product over the past 8 months. UBNT and it's community has done a great job in shaping it into what it is, and I can't wait to see if evolve even more. Great job!
Everything works EXCEPT being able to add scheduled jobs. On Android, pressing + does nothing (99% of the time, allowed me to add a job once). On iOS trying to save a scheduled jobs returns a connection failed error. I added a ticket to the listserve and 32 views and one week later, there is no responses. Great support guys. Bought three of these ESPECIALLY because they had the address system. Starting to feel like I wasted my $$$$. (on the +++ side, the AP works great if only the speakers worked as well).
The product is a great idea and samples all work well however I cannot seem to get the live intercom to work from the app. Any suggestions?? The demo sound works great along with the ap. Any suggestions are welcome and will be a decider on wether or not we go with this solution!
If this app worked, I'd probably give it 5 stars. I really want it to work, since I have bought 5 Unifi EDU access points for my school. But this app just won't connect to my controller. It tells me "Wooops! Communication with the controller failed". My phone is on my corporate LAN and everything. Moto E5 Play, Android 8.0.0. Update: Ubiquiti got in touch we me, and I emailed them where they requested. They said they were unaware of any issues, told me to try the iOS version, and told me that fixing the Android version wasn't a priority. Downgrading to ONE star.
