An app that interfaces with Google Fit. This app is easy to set up and interfaces with Google Fit. There are few that do. That part was sweet. However, the actual heartbeat thing? Very frustrating and hard to get right. inconsistent with my phone and 2 cameras. Would give it higher... but. Update: If I use my left finger, I can get better readings. It's still not very consistent.
Annoying advertising pops up after taking pulse blocking results page. You have to exit out of the ad page to see your pulse results. I'm not too sure of the accuracy, however, I like the ability to store and compare my workout pulse readings. I would consider paying a few bucks to eliminate those annoying ads to buy a jet.
The app used to be pretty good, but now there are WAY TOO MANY obtrusive, loud and quite frankly annoying ads. The UI also hasn't been updated in what I'm guessing is years & it just looks dated now.. the combination is reminding me of the old banner ads from years gone by... I'm ditching the app. It's just ridiculous now.
I installed it quite a time back. It used to be great heart beat checker. Specially when others were not able to quickly and accurately detect after workout, it used to work smoothly. But now it has gone inefficient. Specially if to check pulse after workout. Even in rest mode it takes many repeatative attempts to give the reading.
Simple, East to use. Easy to rapidly take multiple tests. One Star less due to: 1. Flash doesn't turn on and reading doesn't start when I open the app sometimes. Restarting the app solves the issue. But the issue is persistent. 2. Design is too outdated. Color scheme used is cartoonish. When you use a lot of apps that have a good design, switching to this app is an eyesore.
This app used my phone heart rate sensor and the flash. The instructions said to cover the camera, yet it took data from the heart rate sensor. A bit of clarity needed there. Otherwise, it displayed a pulse count in about 4 seconds, but you need to allow longer times to ensure accurate data. Good app.
Nice feature set. Well done on the goals and design, the way you handle data is great. The info page legend doesn't look like it belongs on the same info page as the chart. The results graph needs some debugging and its colouration and legend don't make sense. Maybe better a scatter plot, time vs heart rate, with coloration based on activity category, and a horizontal line for each extra average-to-date spanning the period over which it's an average?
Fickle app. I took my heart rate four times within a few minute frame (about three and a half minutes). I was sitting on my couch in rest mode already a half hour. There were such variable difference in the readings, it made me suspect to even think this app is reliable. The first reading was: 46, which is very low. Second was 52, third was 61 and fourth, 47, again, on the low heart rate side. This doesn't seem a reliable or a safe source to me. I go to my physician regardless as should anyone.
Does what it claims to do. Only one problem - the full screen ads. Edit: There is a checkbox for connecting to Google Fit (which I have installed). But, is it sending out ALL of the data? I have no idea because Google Fit is receiving, or displaying, only the data starting from the day I installed Fit. Is there a way to verify if ALL the data is being sent? Where is it being stored? How do I access it?
Great app. The only feature that missing for me is the option, in setting, to determine the startup screen after first open the app. I don't like it when the app is starting measurement + flashing when I start the app, even though I only want is to see the graph screen. Thanks
Seems to work logically and is easy to use (apart from the flashlight sometimes not starting up). Was accurate when comparing a few results to other measurements, although cannot confirm the accuracy 100%
Had the older version. Updated. All the ads are talking ads now. I'm disappointed. But the app seems to work just fine. I'd pay for a no ad version but don't see the option.
Incredibly frusterating to use. Accomplished nothing. Not one. So finicky, touchy. Couldn't possibly find, much less hold in place, the "sweet spot" on camera for it to even read. Pretty sure I raised my heart rate.... I just can't prove it!
Works well. Readings consistent with manual readings I've done. Syncs seamlessly with Google Fit. Ads are a little annoying, but no complaints about the functionality of the app itself.
very accurate heart rate app. Well done and thank you.
doesn't seem accurate, i can do the test, discard and do it again right away with up to a 20 beat difference without moving my finger or body position. It changes even more if you change your finger position.
It is a really good 👍super 👌 app for heart ❤ rate measure. Thank you for all your hard work on this app. The adds weren't great to be in this app. The place were we keep our finger is not good enough, but again you did a great job👍. You shall checkout " Samsung health, " it is a really app 👌😀 . Thank you 😊 for all your efforts and support on this.
seems to work well, you can record a short history, average, and mark each pulse rate as general, exercise, post exercise, and rest. i dint like the pop up adds.
I am very satisfied with this app. I downloaded several that weren't accurate. I can compare this one with my blood pressure cup or oxygen/heart rate sensor and it always comes out right every time.
very inconsistent results and not accurate. I manually calculated my heart rate and then monitored through the app multiple times. Results were totally different from the actual reading and totally inconsistent.
One of the best pulse trackers out there. I've tried 3 others including samsung health and this gives me the most reliable reading and hasn't failed to give a reading like samsung. I typically have a high pulse, this helps me know if I can donate plasma or not.
Very quick and easy. I always struggled with the old fashioned way of doing your pulse. First have to find out if you are getting every beat from wrist or neck then do a simple calculation (forgot what it was from lack of use). But with apps like these, those days are over.
