I verified it's a real live scanner by going to the scene of a call. It seems to use about 1 mb per minute. It stays on while doing other things on your phone even things that use audio like playing videos, it also stays on when you turn the screen off. ONLY NECESSARY PERMISSIONS. Only downside is it doesn't save channels to a favorites list when you close the app, you have to go through the menu to find your channel.

Same as some of the other low engineered scanner apps on here. Using same servers or info for different named apps. Don't be fooled by these garbage apps.
