Unit Converter PRO
This app can do much more than just convert popular categories such as e.g. length, weight, temperature or currency. Among its many conversions, there are some pretty unique ones, like e.g. conversions to and from Roman numerals, base-n conversions up to a radix of 36, number-to text and text-to-number conversions for various languages of the world, Morse Code (you can even play the Morse code sound), the aviation alphabet and more.
It's easy to navigate the app in spite of its abundance of features. Both conversion categories and conversion units can be marked as Favorites for a simplified display in the Favorites view. In the Favorites view, you will only see the categories and units you need. Alternatively, you can search for categories and/or units. Or you can find your category/unit in the list of the most recently accessed items. A small number of the most popular categories and units is already preselected as Favorites upon the installation of the application.
The results of conversions can be displayed, spoken aloud or copied to the clipboard.
Conversions are calculated offline
- no Internet connection is required. The only exception are currency conversions, however currency exchange rates can be downloaded from the Internet and stored for later use offline. For this reason, the app requires Internet access permissions.
Conversion results appear instantly while entering the input data. There is no need to switch screens or to press a button to obtain conversion results.
On devices which support the multi window mode, the app can be executed in a window.

I've used Unit Converter for years now, on the Android platform. The interface is flawless, with controls just as I would choose, were I to make my own app. And it's fun to use. Also, if you contact them, they actually write back!
You know, I was thinking that adding the capability of a calculator could be nice, both, a calculator and the capability of calculating in the converter field. Just in case you wish to keep improving the app.

Very good and useful. I only wish there was a swap button, not just as a menu item. Also an option for automatic currency exchange rates update.

The app has a huge number of conversions and units. You can set favorites for both categories and units. The keyboard is big and easy to see and use. There is an option to switch the units which I like. I don't like how the app auto-rotates when I have turned auto-rotate off on my phone. Either make it conform to the phone's setting or give us the option to turn it off in the app.

The most comprehensive unit converter I have seen. Easy to use by saving favorite units. I recently used the currency exchange conversions while overseas and the app updates daily exchange rates that were as accurate as the banks. I was quite pleasantly surprised. Well worth the .99 cents. Great app!
UI is cleaner than most other similar apps.
Have used the free version for a few months, use it for quick engineering conversions. Like the simplicity of the interface and the ability to customize (via favorites). Earned my $1!

This has to be the best unit converter available.
I was very impressed with the free version and I was using it without any problems. However, I purcessed the pro version just to give thanks to the developer and recognize the thoughtfulness and the hard work that went into the development of this application.

Absolutely indispensable! I use this app several times/day, EVERYday. Love the ability to star most-used units. I like not having a calculator b/c it's more efficient (for me, at least) to split-screen that when I need it - which isn't often. Clean, user friendly, and not a single bug - great job on this!
