Update: I finally got the fingerprint to work again. It worked great for a day and now it seems the entire app has gone kaput. I went from being completely locked out to the app being stuck on downloading updates and now network server is busy, try again later. Here's hoping they get this sorted out sometime soon. Otherwise, why even have an app? Original:Same experience as others. Worked great for about a week. Now, it says authentication required every single time. Fingerprint no longer works.

Clunky. Biometric log-in doesn't work. Well, it did for a day. Just enough for me to miss it. Error codes adorn every log-on. Then to do bill pay and mobile deposit I have to leave the account instead of having that available when actually looking at the account. For bill pay, I have to accept the terms every time. It functions, but it isn't intuitive and it's just clunky.

The worst online banking app I've ever used, and I use 4 other banking apps daily. It kicks me out of the session even when I click ok to stay logged on. There is no way to post notes on transactions. When you download anything from your account it saves as "new statement" no matter what it is. The statements are sorted by "deposit" whatever that means. Some months don't even show a statement. I currently have 3 months missing that I need for tax purposes. The app freezes constantly

This app is terrible, get it together. It is iterally so bad that might be the tipping point (plenty of other issues with the bank) to make me finally change banks entirely. Only reason I haven't so far is the hassle of changing over payment methods everywhere. I can no longer use a login Pin, I have to enter my full account info every time... And every single time lately it needs a text verification code... To a phone that isn't mine. So I have to get the code from someone else every time.

App is pretty useful and helpful. It is always glitching or does not want to open 95% of the time. It'll close on its own or say try again later. I've forced closed, restarted my phone, cleared any other stuff, uninstalled and installed again. This is getting really old. Especially with the bank switching all the time. Might switch to a different bank. This is all too frustrating and has created minor but MANY problems. Too much to deal with.

Easy to use and works well. Keep up the good work! Update: the app is constantly asking me to enter my ID & Pwd to log in and then enter a code and my phone # to log in, even after I set the app for a PIN login. It is still easy to use, but this has become an annoying aspect of using it. If United is going to require 2 factor authentication it should state that somewhere or even send it out in an email prior to implementing the feature.

This app has deteriorated significantly over the last few updates. It's nearly impossible to login. It makes me setup the app every time as if it's the first time I am using it. It won't let me deposit a check; it gives me the error message, "No eligible accounts were found for this service based on requirements established by your financial institution." PS United Bank's telephone customer service representatives are ALWAYS great to work with - - professional, knowledgeable, and helpful.

No fingerprint scanning. Looks and feels antiquated. It often turns into a blank screen when I try to open it so I have to Uninstall and reinstall constantly. Update 12/29- Both issues have been resolved. I would like to be able to see my account number through the app somehow. Its annoying to have to log in multiple times for account info. I have done direct deposit with another bank simply because it was cumbersome to get my account number.

Great app. Updated ruined it. Idk what they did in the recent update, but my app won't work. I have to reinstall it every few days, and it works maybe 3 times before I try to open the app and it's blank. Seriously, there is nothing but a white screen. When it does work it's great, but pleaaase fix it

I am very frustrated with the transfer from my old bank that merged to your new app. I cant see much of the information that used to be available. My pending transaction and account information. The log in is frustrating. I should not need an authentication code everytime I log in when I have a password. And a pass code.

Like others I have had issues with the app crashed ng or locking up. John st after the last update 🙂 had to resign three of four times using pass word and instead of the pin that I had just updated the previous time I opens app. Some times it wouldn't let me in to the pin set up. Then it would. Maybe the bugs are worked out. It has run pretty good for about a week now.

The app works for what I need it for. The mobile check deposit is an amazingly easy feature to use. As well as fast. I no longer need to make a trip to the bank to deposit my paycheck. I can check my balance anytime, anywhere. i just wish it had text alerts for low balance or when an automatic deposit is made.

App not working, I'm having the same experience as others with the fingerprint not being recognized. Didn't recognize my user ID or password had to go through and change my password after searching for my checkbook for my account number. Worked for a day and then didn't work again. Had to do the whole thing over and change my password a second time. Very, very, very inconvenient!!!

Words cannot express how frustrating, how maddening it is, the way this app constantly malfunctions. I hate hate hate this app! But it's not like you can choose another United Bank app that works properly, and obviously they understand that, or else they might maybe possibly try to fix its inability to retain personal settings. About every third time you open the app, it develops full amnesia and makes you start from scratch, no matter how many times you set it up. Negative 500 stars.

Poorly designed, options are difficult to find and navigate. You had better keep all your account information available and on hand, if not you'll find yourself locked out of the app. Customer service is also useless unless you have all of your account information on you at all times as well. Not a very useful "on the go" phone tool

Edit: May 4, 2021: The app keeps showing purchases and then next time I log in they are gone. Some don't show up for days up to a week. It is causing me a lot of issues. I think the bank should be less money hungry and fix it so it shows up-to-date amounts and no more of this things not showing up for days or weeks causing overdrafts so they make you pay $36 each time (even multiple times) even if you only idn'w cents!

Works great when it works. Now the bad news, it only works for a while if you log in by finger print or pattern, then you have to use user name and password, which by then you have forgotten, if you don't have your account number with you you cannot get into it. Very frustrating and plenty of reason to find a different bank that actually has an app that works!

This app is pretty easy to use, when I remember the little + sign is where to go to do mobile deposits and transfers. Sometimes, if it's been a while since I've done them on my phone, I do forget, & there's no reminder that's where to find them as opposed to the tablet app. Otherwise, I love the ease of using a PIN to log in rather than always entering my password just to check my balance, & idk what I'd do without mobile deposit anymore! All-in-all, one of the best apps on my phone.

App is easy to use and has a decent layout. My only issue is that the fingerprint sign in is inconsistent. It either doesn't work at all for months at a time or it resets to being off and I have to log in and turn it back on.

This app has sign in/authentication issues several times a week. On September 2, 2021 there was an update, I thought this issue was fixed. Nope! The problem has persisted and actually become worse. I will say when the app sign in / authentication works properly this app and its features are great.

The authentication of the app is very anoying. Every app update it restarts. This is not very consistent. This makes me want to switch banks. The saved password doesn't work either. This app needs fixed. Fix it please fix it. Or remove the app totally.

The app is nice and easier to use than the website once logged in but it constantly has you go through this whole thing of getting a text message to confirm and everything. It's very annoying and inconvient. This should really be fixed.

very easy to use. can check your account anytime anywhere. very convenient service!! **UPDATE** COMPLETELY UNINSTALLED! Every time I login, a white screen appears with no way to sign in or security code option .. just a blank white screen. I had to go online to see my statement. Something didn't work out correctly after the latest update. Very troubling in this time of unfortunate events we all are facing. Convenience matters even in small forms. That's why I first downloaded the app!

Doesn't save my user name even though I select it every time it will randomly forget it. Also it had me make a pin to use instead of the password but that never works. The essex app was far better and I never once had a problem. This app is just full of minor inconvenience that add up to be frustrating.

Every other day the app logs me out and turns off my quick login and force's me to re-enter my login information. It never saves my user ID even when I click it. When i update information on the bank website it takes days for it to reach the app. When i reset my password i cannot log onto the app for days because it doesn't register with both at the same time. I also cannot do as much on the app as the website so the only reason for the app is to check my balance quicker. Fix this app.
