Universal AVR Remote Control

A ton of unskippable, 10-second ads when setting up. And one everytime you start up. Super annoying. . . And then a random assortment of 30+, all circular, some hard to read buttons, making it hard to find the one you want. Which may not even exist. . . Also, my phone's IR blaster can't reach the AVR nearly as well as the remote. So this is basically useless for me... As long as I have the original remote. . . Uninstalled.

Was able to identify my stereo speaker amp from onkyo. The system was old and the remote was lost ages ago, I haven't encountered any intrusive ads and the app is simple to use it remembers the device you want it to control. It wasn't able to identify any televisions, but then again that isn't what this app was made for. My only quarrel is that the interface is very generalized as it includes a bunch of buttons that were never on the remote, and seem like they're for other systems.

I'm stuck at home in quarantine from covid-19 and Amazon delayed shipping for another month. luckily I found my old Samsung Galaxy phone with IR capabilities. I needed a remote for my old Marantz audio receiver so I can watch movies really loud. This app saved the day. the old app I had installed discontinued support for most older devices and went digital and WiFi controls. I'm stuck in the past I guess with my receiver and cerwin-vega's. it's only stereo but it makes movies sound good. 5 STARS

Partially works for Sony STR DE-925. Many of the buttons are not functional. Some are cross linked. The TV button does nothing, but Video 2 connects the TV output. On/Off works, and the layout is pretty good. This remote does not operate the unified components.

Maybe it is a good app for a store to switch on and off many various AV receivers. An average user has one AV receiver and a CD/DVD player, LCD display or TV. The user needs to arrange frequently used buttons for various devices on a single screen.

Very useful when you have phone with IR, I'm using it with Pioneer receiver and it works fine. Maybe a little old fashion look but sometimes it is easier for use.

Used for Marantz stereo amplifier. Installed on Huawei p30 pro (it has ir sensor). Have got it working in about 1 min. After choosing brand from the list, you will find different remote sets. Second one was working for me. It switches unit on and off, control volume and inputs. Happy enough. Thank you.

In less than 60 seconds I have my Harmon Kardon receiver working. Does it have every function the original remote would have? No but it's better than not having a remote or buying a new one for $50+ Great app thank you.

Works as expected.. Would be nice if you set a remote as default so no need to select it each time the app starts but still saved me after losing the remote. Thanks!

Uses and needs IR while most of the supported amps and receivers can be accessed over IP which I anticipated this app would use. My phone has no IR blaster so this renders this app useless. So it's not as universal as it seems. Also, with the three clicks I did to find this out, I got two ads already.

Usable Remote: Remote works well as far as volume is concerned. Quite helpful when you can no longer find original Pioneer AVR remote from the market.

This app never worked as soon as soon as I downloaded a prompt showed unfortunately the app has stopped. I did t even get the app to open after installing brought me back to the play store. Failure. Oh and I had to give it a star else it would not allow me to post...

Full controls for my yamaha av unit. Easy to use from my phone and saved me in a crunch when I was moving and couldn't find my remote. Thanks loads!

Works great on my pioneer av receiver. There are tons of choices. Ads are tolerable, would recommend.

This works for IR better than the Mi-Remote app on my Xiaomi phone. Sometimes have to click multiple times though. Using with a Pioneer VSX-820.

Good. My AVR start button is faulty and the remote control is faulty too. With this app, the AVR can still function again.

So far so good. Just downloaded works with Teac 7900, have never had a remote with it, knobs on it are super picky so good deal

some features work with my audio equipment.some dont. Can't switch to tuner but I can switch to cd.. Don't know how to pick a different remote config. what does work works well tho!

Absolutely the business no seriously this remote works keep in mind your device as to support ir compatible I know that's should be obvious but some people really don't realise this 5 out of 5 guys "does what it says on the tin"

Cannot ask for more cos is free. Can control volume, mute, input source, ON and OFF of the Nad 716 AVR.

Ads Ads Ads ... And IR blaster is needed, whatever this is ... So this App is nether universal nor a remote control for anything but Ads!
