It used to be a good app. Now it often even fails to launch - it has to load advertisement, and if it fails, it won't start. I don't mind some ads for free app, but I'd it fails to launch 4/5 times that's a no-go for me. Uninstalled.
So incredibly upset! This was my favorite app as I have an extensive ebook library. I'd already paid for the premium version for the year. Not sure if there was an update but all of a sudden my downloads erased from my library and I don't have the option to upload an entire folder at once anymore. I now have to upload one file at a time. The app is useless to me now as I have hundreds of ebooks. I've cancelled my recurring subscription. And will be using a different app.
Love this app. I can download all my books and read them. They are arranged as a bookshelf which is so cool. However, it's not just books. I can read anything using this app that requires a reader. Finally found a good one and I have been looking for a few years.
I just upgraded. It's horrible! If I delete my own imported book, it comes right back in the folder, even though it's unaccessable because I've deleted it on my tablet. So annoying. It's so slow now too. I'm so sorry I upgraded. I've been using Media365 when it was UB Reader. I paid for that version but now you want me to pay again. I just use it as a reader. I don't want your books. I have my own.
Displays ads even when i have UB reader full version key. Before it never showed me ads in app and for offline books. It used to show ads only for online books and i understand you have subscription for it to remove those ads. Could you please check about in app ads and offline books ads.
Does this app, does not support .mobi extension, please look onto that it will be far more better. I am regular user of this but recently there are multiple extensions formats book are uploaded. The application must updates the features.. please look onto that
It is a good ebook reader. Easy to use and upload files. The only downside is the ads. But over all, I am happy with the app.
I tried the 7 day trail and the as advised by Google app would be reminded when the trail was ending.. Well that reminder never came through and now I'm 495 rand poorer.. Please let me know how I can get a refund

Honestly loved it at first and was my go-to. The ads weren't bothersome since it's just a small portion at the bottom and only appears full screen if you close the book. But the app kept shutting down mid-read. I can't even finish a page since it keeps closing. Other than that, it's great.

Used to be a nice ap when it was called UB Reader. Paid for an ad free version. Now full of ads. Do not trust them. Searching for something else. Ads freakishly annoying.
Just like in 2018, ads appearing on the bottom on the page make the app no longer usable. I'm again changing the review to 1 star, just like the last time you guys did it. Bright attention grabbing ads on the bottom of page that I'm trying to read just isn't going to work. Edit: Well, I understand the need to use ads, and an occasional ad when turning the app on or opening book was fine, but putting them on the bottom of the page is a deal breaker. Found an alternative app, Good luck guys!
It was a great app until they decided to put ads in the bottom of every page if you are on the free plan. This way the app is totally unusable because your reading is constantly distracted by the ad. Generally, I'm OK seeing ads every now and then but that's too aggressive. There are enough quality apps that are free (like Pocketbook reader), so moving on.
I've enjoyed this app for several years and didn't mind the odd ad here and there between reading sessions. Much to my dismay with the new update, I find they integrated ads into the reading experience. For me this is crossing the line and I immediately uninstalled the app. I would consider a one-time purchase to remove the ads, but the only option is an overpriced subscription which is nothing more than subscribing to an ad free experience, which really offers no subscription service at all.
I have been using the free version for many years and have always been very happy with it. However, I just paid $6.64 for the premium version of this app because it boasts that it supports all file formats, text to speech reading, and customizable pages t find out after I've purchased that the text to speech and customizable features are only available in EPUB format and all the books I have are in PDF format. Huge waste of money, should have stuck with the free version. Want my $$ back
After many years, this is still my favorite ePub reading app. However, one of the few complains I have is that the images in the file, with the exception of the cover, are always too small, and there is no option to enlarge them. It becomes a great downside when you're reading a book with a lot of significant illustrations. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this app once had a direct option to define a word? Now I'm always redirected to Google to find the definition of a word.
I personally think UB reader was more catchy, But the rating wasn't for that, it was for inconvenience faced while adding new books to the library. We can't add multiple books together, once i click on "read" the book opens up after getting downloaded. But there is no option for "add to library" which in my opinion, if available while browsing would make searching and choosing new books and genres we are not familiar with, much easier. other than that everything is fine, interface is good as well
This app used to be easy but now it shows ads right in the middle of reading the book. It's always there staring right at you and you cant even remove it. Not to mention it keeps showing full screen ads in the middle of reading. This is an awful app now because of all the ads. I cant read without seeing the bright ad at the bottom of the screen. Uninstalling it immediately.
This app used to be good at first. It's now 2 stars but for what it also had been (and actually the new update), I go with a 3. Talking about the things that annoy me the most, I got to say that the speed is just so low. It takes so long for the app to show up and takes a long time for the books to be open. The covers are not shown correctly. Though I got to say I like the new version better than the previous one because of the adjusments(?) while reading. It has turned more user-friendly<3
A great app when it was UB but since they "updated" it under Media365 it has become very buggy on my phone. For a start it's not as easy to organise your books. Then when you try to open a book, the compulsory advertisement pops up to take up the whole screen. (I'm not against advertisements, I do realise it's probably necessary when the app us free.) However! The little cross on all the advertisements do not close when pressed. So you're left with the commercial but no access to your book. Unfortunately, will not be using this app again.
Update: I received a refund so increased rating. I made the in-app purchase thinking that by making a purchase, the ads would be removed. I was WRONG. The in-app purchase DOES NOT remove adverts which is a HUGE problem for me. Adverts take over the screen and sometimes have a timer that does NOT allow you to close the add until the end of the timer. I think Media365 Book Reader can be a great product. The formatting of the books is very nice. Turning pages is also very nice. Its just ads ruin the experience for me.
I got this app before it was mobile365 and I loved it. However I find a lot of bugs appeared with the new name. The screen goes from grey to black before letting me read my books and occasionally it doesn't even do that it just freezes and needs to be reset. On top of that recently it's taken upwards of 30 seconds to turn the pages..kinda breaks emersion of a climatic ending.
Despite the fact that images in PDFs are very dark (very low brightness, much detail is lost) this is still my favourite media reader. I like the bookshelf feature, which can be organised with folders and sub-folders to keep your books organised. The other downside apart from the very dark images is that when moving a book into a particular folder, you can't just cut and paste; you have to select the destination folder from a list which is never in alphabetical order. Still, a good app.
Constant ad at the bottom of the screen. Makes any book unreadable for me. I understand the need for the developer to make revenue, but I can't enjoy reading with the distractions. Update after response from developer: There are other apps that are free to use that don't have a constant ad banner. Perhaps you should consider periodic pop-up ads instead? -1 for arrogance.
the app is really good except for one problem. it will randomly "freeze up" (not sure how else to put it) and will keep me from turning to the next page. it will animate and make the motion as if the page is turning but it just keeps me stuck on the same page. if I fiddle with font size it starts up again, I'm not sure of a better trick
It was my favorite app. However, the recent updates are sooo bad. Every time I attempt importing my books, it keeps shutting down repeatedly,even if I opened the folder and selected any book,the app. opens the book but doesn't import it as it was in previous updates. I hope you offer me the solution for this. Moreover, the app. is slow to open. Updates should be better,not worse, than the previous ones.
